Batman Beyond: I am The Knight

I looked at the city from the highest point of view the once blue skies covered in red from pollution, the streets that were once controlled were now out of control, people who once acted normal in the light were now afraid of their own shadow, and villains who once knew their place began to resurface. When Batman still lived he put the living fear into Gotham's villains but he to disappeared just like all the other heroes who have either retired or died of old age but without Batman, that fear was gone villains began to rule once again when I was once innocent I looked up to Batman but I grew up and as I grew the people around me were gone their lives taken away by villains it was then I realized fear was not enough to stop them sometimes you had to make an example out of them.
