36 Dude!
Ned sat in the medical tent near Mary Jane and Gwen. He was reclined in a chair eating lunch while Ben Grimm ate his meal. He was very quiet, Ben wasn't known for being the most conversant member of the FF, but he was strangely quiet.
Looking out the door from time to time, something caught his eye.
"Dude!" Ned exclaimed startling Ben out of his thoughts.
"What?" He asked.
"DUDE!" Ned stood up and placed his food next to his chair. He continued looking out the tent with shining eyes.
"What?!" Ben grumbled getting up.
"Mr. Grim, sir, I think I know where we are," Ned said.
"Where?"
"Hold on, I want to make sure I'm right. If I'm right then this is like...Dude!" Ned ran out of the tent.
As soon as he left the tent, the translation robot followed him. Ben watched as Ned got into an excited conversation with the Lord of Forward Running. Croaking Pigeon Young Prince was next to Lord of Froward Running as usual.
Dawn Flower appeared, she was usually nearby. She usually acted as their translator, but she could be there all the time, so they assigned them a translation robot.
Ned was pointing at people and things. The more he talked the more excited he became. The three people he spoke with were also getting more interested and animated. The problem was that Ned kept talking.
Turning around, Ben sat down and finished his lunch, waiting for Ned to return.
More excitement happened in the camp as a young man in a similar battlesuit to Ned's except it had "X" symbols instead of spider symbols. When Ned saw the young man he ran to him joyfully.
"Armando!" Ned yelled and gave him a big hug lifting him off the ground.
"Hey, Ned," Armando gasped. Realizing he squeezed too hard, Ned put Armando down.
"Sorry, sir," Ned said.
"It's fine, I'm unbelievably excited to see you as well," Armando said.
"Why didn't you contact us, we could have come to get you," Ned asked.
"Yeah, I would of preferred that, but as soon as I landed I was attacked by some creature. It bit my helmet off of my head," Armando said.
Ned finally noticed that Armando's battlesuit was heavily damaged.
"Are you okay, how come it didn't bite your head off?" Ned asked.
"My body adapted, I retracted my head into my body."
"Like a turtle? You're like a Mutant Turtle?" Ned screamed. What a great day to be a nerd, Ned thought.
"My body reverts back to normal once I'm out of danger," Armando responded.
"Oh," Ned responded dully.
"Are you here alone, or did others make it here with you?" Armando asked looking around.
"Oh, Dude, sorry, sir, yes, there are more of us. Mr. Grim is here. Mary Jane and Gwen are also hear, but they're in a coma. We're waiting for them to wake up," Ned said.
"Coma? Do you mind if I take a look?" Of course, follow me back to our tent.
When they walked through the tent, Ben Grim saw Armando, although his face was different, Ben knew he belonged to their group. After all, who else would stick "X"s all over their bodies other than the X-men?
"You're one of those fake SHIELD agents, what's your real name kid?" Ben asked.
"Armando Munoz, sir," Armando remained standing until Ben gave him the okay and invited him to follow him into the tent.
After checking the two women, he placed his hands on their heads. There was a buzzing in the room and the two girls opened their eyes. They were stunned to see so many people around them.
"Are you okay?" Ned ran forward to Gwen and looked at Mary Jane.
"Ned? What's going on?" Gwen asked.
"Oh, well, we went through a portal thing and you and Mary Jane have been unconscious for several days. Armando did something and the two of you woke up," Ned explained.
"Really?" Gwen asked. Armando smiled and nodded.
"Thank you!" the girls said.
"How do you feel?" Ben asked.
"We're fine Mr. Grim," Mary Jane said. A robot entered the tent and examined Mary Jane and Gwen. After examining them, it removed the sensors and monitors.
"The two of you are healed and discharged. Please leave as soon as possible to free up your beds for other patients," the Docbot walked away from the tent.
"You said we came through a portal?" Mary Jane had rolled up her hospital clothes and put them in a bin with Gwen's. Both girls walked to us and looked at Ben Grin waiting for one of them to explain things.
"Alright, kid, you said you thought you knew where we are and what's going on. Did you confirm it, what's going on? Ben asked.
"Yes, sir, it's as I thought. The portal we went through brought us to a place that's a long time ago and a galaxy far far away," Looking at the many confused faces Ned shouted in glee:
"We're in Star Wars!"
