39 Battle at Base Tyron

The ship threatening the group exploded before it could launch its missiles. A strange two-seater fight flew through the exploding ship. The fighter looked like the ship version of Frankenstein's monster.

[Cypher and Omega Sentinel in the "Broken-Wing" fighter reporting. We'll cover you from the sky for as long as possible.] Cypher spoke over the group's comms. Everyone cheered when they learned more of their friends joined the group. White Widow explained the fighter's identity to Dawn Flower who explained it to the Jedi. The new ship was marked as "friendly" by the Base Tyron Fighters.

Base Tryon was the name of the camp where the Thing and the group were located. They were considered civilians until the fighting broke out. Now, they were the elite squad who were drawing heavy fire from the Sith. The other members of the base were able to fight the regular soldiers without pressure. 

"We still need to do something about those big mechanical beasts coming in," the Thing said over the comms.

[This is Batman, dropping the Hulk bomb.]

"The Hulk bomb?" several of the team members asked at once. That's when they began to hear a roar from the skies. The battle seemed to freeze for a moment as a dot appeared, falling fast. 

Finally, they could make out that it was a large Green monstrosity roaring as it crashed into the center of all of the heavy machines. The Earth exploded! The force of the impact scattered and tore apart several of the machines. 

"Hulk Smash!" was heard. Even those who couldn't speak English felt shivers down their spines. A forty-foot tall four-legged armor tank flew into the skies crashing into a squadron of enemy fighters. 

The sound of smashing, breaking, and crashing was heard from the forest. Sith warriors fled from the forest. 

A large cargo vessel appeared and tanked the fire of some of the fighters while picking them off in the air. 

One of the Chicken-leg attack tanks drew a bead on Dawn Flower and White Widow. It was about the fire when the cabin exploded. A focused energy beam had erupted from the forest. 

[Dr. Nemesis, here.] They heard another member of their team appear. Fireballs fell from the sky landing accurately a enemy starfighters and ground troops. Eventually, a man covered in Ice armor slid down from the heavens shooting ice shards at fighters or freezing them outright. 

[Torch and Iceman reporting,] another pair from the group arrived on the planet. Having more of their people arrive, the mutant heroes redoubled their efforts. 

Although the Sith were stunned, the new and strange fighters didn't phase the Sith for long. They had countless soldiers at their disposal. Maybe they couldn't win with strength, but what about numbers? At least, that seemed to be their plan. 

Iceman slid through the soldiers and froze dozens of them at a time. The Sith attempted to pull him off of his ice slide using the Force, but Bobby randomly shot ice shards. Sometimes a Sith would fall due to a shard hitting him. 

The Human Torch was focused more on the vehicles. The Hulk came out of the forest dragging a large robotic leg of some machine. He threw it into the sky destroying several fighters. 

Omega Sentinel and Cypher were forced to abandon their fighter after taking a critical hit from an enemy fighter. Omega Sentinel carried Doug from the air and had him stand next to Dawn Flower. The pair quickly learned that they were translators and conversed. Doug already mastered the language and sent the full language translation program to everyone's H.U.D.s.

Omega Sentinel added Forward Running Lord whose actual name was Master Min Devis, Croaking Pigeon Young Master, or Padawan Fel Doan, and Dawn Flower, or Iz Bellis.

[Jedi Master Devis, this is Batman, we are still missing members of our crew. Have you or your men come across others like us?] Batman asked. Master Devis looked surprised.

[We have found only those who are here with us. If there are more of your people, I don't know where they could be.] Master Devis responded. 

[We'll talk more after the battle is finished, Batman, out.]

Jedi Master Devis and his Padawan Doan were attracted by a battle of several Sith Masters against the green behemoth that could toss armored war machines that weighed several tons and accurately destroy fast-moving fighters. At first, the lightsabers cut through the monster's skin nearly severing some of his limbs. The speed of healing was unbelievable, and eventually, the lightsabers had trouble doing more than burning the creature's skin, which ticked it off. 

The Hulk roared and ripped a tree from the ground and used it like a baseball bat to swat the Sith Knights away. 

The supply of trained Sith warriors whether Masters or apprentices. The unusual method and unreasonable power of the strange warriors led to the call for a retreat. The frozen Sith soldiers, masters, and apprentices were abandoned. The casualties were numerous the loss of vehicles, men, and morale was incalculable. 

Batman landed his cargo ship near the camp, and many of the soldiers found him as scary to behold as the Sith. They watched as he collected lightsabers, blasters, bombs, and other gadgets putting them somewhere. What was this nightmare? 

"Who are you?" Master Devis asked.

"I'm Batman!"
