Food Shortage

Waking up from my deep sleep, I decided it was time to give Joppi a choice. She can either work for me or go back to her old world. We were running low on food and drink and having to feed an extra mouth when I got nothing out of it, just didn't sit right with me. I wasn't the type of person to do charity work.

I went to her room and found her still sleeping. Her fat butt cheeks on full display as she slept naked on her stomach. I wasn't into bestiality, but I found myself admiring what I saw. "Joppi, wake up"

"Hmm?" She said as she slowly sat up, showing me everything as she did so.

"Get dressed, I'm going to put you to work today". I said holding back the temptation to slap her ass. She had never indicated she was interested in me that way, so it would be more than rude to take advantage.

She had no shame as she walked around naked looking for her clothes, but I decided to not be anymore of a creep than I had already been and walked out of her room. "Meet me in the gate room in twenty minutes" I said as I walked away.

I put on my new and improved kara kesh and a different set of clothes than before. My black T shirt this time said "If at first you don't succeed, leave no witnesses" in white lettering. Below the words was a picture of a woman spreading strawberry jam on some toast.

Not long after I was dressed, Joppi came out of her room fully dressed and ready to go. Seeing her, I spoke up. "You have two options, you can either become useful to me in some way, or I leave you on your old world. Your choice."

Joppi flinched at my blunt words."I would like to help, but I don't know what you need, as a warrior bunny I am only good at hand to hand combat and swordsmanship".

"Then you can watch over the Jaffa and make sure he behaves?" I asked.

"Mhm, but I don't want to be cooped up here all the time, please take me out with you sometimes when you are able".

I nodded my head. "Deal, your Jaffa watch duty starts today. I'll see you later then".

"Yuna, I'm going out, please inform the others that aren't here if they ask where I am. I'll try to be back soon, but it could take a few days. I don't know".

Yuna who had just walked into the gate room gave me a thumbs up. Seeing the confirmation that she heard my words, I flew my puddle cycle through the stargate to the mars stargate and then used my timer to go back to the gate Universe. Flying all the way to the Japanese base and waiting for them to notice me.

After a while the ATV's came my way and Youji hopped out with three other Javanese soldiers, two male and one female. "Sisyphus, it's nice to see you again. What can we do for you?"

I could tell their attitude towards me had become more friendly ever since I told them of the Japanese slaves and gave them a universal translator that was probably at least a century ahead of any kind of translating tech they currently had.

I gave a chuckle, "Not what you can do for me, but what we can do for each other. I'm here to trade again. We are friends are we not?"

Yōji rubbed the back of his head and smiled awkwardly while bowing slightly as he snuck in peaks at the puddle cycle I had rode in on. "Of course, of course, what are you wanting to trade this time?"

"I want the most advanced farming equipment you have to make it easy for one of my people to maintain a small farm on their own. I have a bit of a food shortage and I have mouths to feed. Id also like to request a bit more of your food rations that could last a few months for a handful of people".

Yōji looked at me puzzled. "You have such advanced tech, but you want our most advanced farming equipment? I don't really understand, but I don't see a problem as long as you trade something as good as you did the last time".

"I have a thing called a tricorder I would like to trade. The knowledge you can gain from it alone is worth 10x what I just asked for, the device itself is worth 100x more than I just asked for. It can be used to gather, analyze, and record almost any data. If you give me a cache of flash, rubber ball, and smoke grenades, I'll even throw in an advanced staff weapon".

I was aware that I was getting the bad end of this deal, but I didn't lose anything by trading these items and I wanted to build Trust with the Japanese to the point they would eventually let me walk through the gate to their earth and maybe trade things they normally wouldn't.

Yōji was baffled by my trade offer. "Yes, those are all non lethal, I don't see why I wouldn't be able to get everything you asked for. Any specific farm equipment that you have in mind?

I shook my head. "Every type I guess, any that are able to be electric powered id prefer over gasoline powered though, I plan to upgrade them and it would be more of a hassle to start with something that was powered by oil as opposed to something electric. You guys did well last time figuring it out, I trust you to give me a fair trade, Oh and also I want as many more heirloom seeds that you can afford to give me. A little bit of everything with those as well".

"We can have it all prepared by the end of the night if our commander gives the go ahead, how does that sound? By the way, for now on you can just drive all the way to our base instead of having us meet you out here."

"Sounds good to me, I'll be back tonight then" I replied.
