A plan

Upon hearing my words, one of the Jedi moved his hand towards his lightsaber, activating it and then getting in a stance. The other Jedi seemed to have trusted that his partner would take care of me easily enough on his own, which was foolish.

These Jedi were young and clearly inexperienced compared to the ones in my memory, but were still very much a threat. Looking at my timer, it was set to open another portal in just a few minutes. Unfortunately, after the first time you use the Timer, it opens the portals on its own from then on out. The portal can open anywhere between a second of you arriving or even years later.

The reason the sliding technology is called a timer, is because it has a timer on it that lets you know when the next wormhole will open, if you miss it, you will be stuck on the planet you are currently on. It's very unreliable tech. I would stay in this world and try to improve it if it wasn't such a dangerous universe. I'm strong and can easily take on the small fry in front of me, but I didn't want to push my luck quite yet here with the bigger fish. The timer has this world recorded and I can always come back later once I fix it up and make it to where I can travel to specific destinations whenever I want.

I still wasn't leaving empty handed after seeing those lightsabers. Considering they seemed like good people just doing their job, I thought id be nice and not kill them. Seeing the Timer had less than a minute left before opening a new portal, I lunged at the Jedi in front of me and tried to take his lightsaber. He not only was able to see my attack coming, but also counterattacked and took off my whole left hand. This pain was nothing new to me, so I gritted my teeth and kicked my foot out, sending him flying a good 50 yards away from me. Id like to think he survived, but he didn't get back up.

I immediately moved my attention to the other Jedi, grabbed the arm that had been reaching for his lightsaber, ripped it off, and then hit him in the head with it. He was knocked out cold, but bleeding quite a lot. I grabbed his light saber, pressed the button to activate it, and then cauterized his wound best I could.

Seeing the timer say I had 5 seconds left, I pocketed the green light saber and then pointed the timer in front of me. The portal opened and I walked through again. The soil beneath my feet was not much different than before, but the scenery around me had changed quite a bit. Right as I stepped onto the soil and was through the portal, I heard a voice yell out "kree tal lok"

Suddenly every inhabitant of this planet that was near myself started to bow down towards me. I had no recollection of the language spoken, but I did recognize the large structure in the distance. It was a stargate. I found myself in a universe with stargates this time.

The beings of this planet seeing me come out of a portal that looked similar to the stargate portal probably thought I was a Goa'uld. Looking down at my timer, it said I had a little over two months before another portal will open again. If this is the stargate universe I know, it's filled with advanced technology and I can use that technology to improve my timer.

Unfortunately, I could only remember three gate sequences from my past life and that was only due to my superior Titan memory/brain. One of the sequences I remembered was earths, another was Atlantis, and the last one was the ancient Destiny ship. I believe I only remembered these gate addresses because I had seen them repeatedly be dialed over and over throughout the show.

Those three were arguably the most important gate addresses in the Stargate Galaxy. If the gates worked and I could confirm this was indeed the stargate universe I know, I planned to stay regardless on if the timer's time was up or not. I couldn't think of a better Universe to improve the timers tech in.

If I claimed the Destiny ship as my own, I could use that as my ship and have Atlantis be my home. I could travel to other universes, steal their power and then come back home to this place once I fixed the timer.

After making up my mind I raised one of the kneeling inhabitants of this planet and pointed in the distance. "Does your stargate work"?

The man I had picked up, looked into the distance where I was pointing and then looked back at me. "Chappa'ai?"

That sounded familiar. "Yes, Chappa'ai, does it work"?

The man seemed confused "Twerk?"

I shook my head, the inhabitants here would be no help to me.

The gate was pretty far away, but I ran non stop until I reached it. I hoped that the last chevron activated was the chevron for this planet and started dialing the eight chevrons to get to Atlantis. The gate ran smoothly, but the wormhole never activated. i was sure I had the destination right, which meant that It was probably a power problem. I needed more power before I could travel to Atlantis or I needed to be a lot closer, one of the two. Considering Destiny took 9 chevrons, it probably needed even more power than Atlantis.

I was stuck with only one destination to travel to for now and that was earth. I didn't want to make contact with earth until I had a place to call my own set up.

As I sat there wondering what I should do to get off this planet and find my way to Atlantis, the Stargate began to spin, someone was opening it from another place and would be here soon.

This could be good or bad for me. Thinking fast, I hid beside a small building and waited for the people to come through.
