6 6. Beat The Thugs

Victoria tries to calm down and clear her mind even though she could feel her heart beating very fast. Her body feels hot. For a moment, she thinks that she could see more apparent, her ear becomes sharper.

One of the thugs is approaching her, and now he is standing right in front of Victoria. The thug smiles with a disgusting face.

"Oh shit! You are hot damn bitch." He raises his hand and touches Victoria's cheek.

Victoria quickly pushes the man's chest until he took a few steps back. He looked surprised about how strong Victoria, a girl who had moved him away.

The thug seems furious. He advances and is about to attack Victoria. She could feel a tremor when the man is walking forward and punching her.

Victoria lowered her head, then she stomped the man's feet hard, elbowed him in the neck, and slapped his cheek with the back of her hand.

Another friend comes forward and tries to attack Victoria. Fear suddenly evaporates like smoke. She could feel her adrenaline rising.

Victoria takes off her bag and turns it into a weapon. She hits the thug with her, right on his face. Then she kicks that man so hard until he falls backward.

Another thug locked her from behind while another man was about to attack her from the front. Victoria's feet moved quickly to kick right in the groin until the thug screamed in pain.

Victoria beat the thug with her elbow behind her back repeatedly and managed to hit him in the ribs. The thug is loosening the handrails. Victoria squeezes the man's hand and slams him to the ground with a loud sound.

The man with the most extensive body came forward. Victoria has to look up to see his ruthless face. She moves first and punches the man in the stomach, but it didn't work. The man only moved a little. His stomach felt so hard like a rock.

The man laughed evilly. "Not so fast, Baby."

A fist flew and almost hit Victoria's face. Lucky, she had time to look down. She attacks the man with a kick that hits his groin, causing him to growl in anger.

After he recovered for a moment, the man butts Victoria so that she steps back a few meters and then falls backward. He laughed like an evil while showing his yellow teeth.

Victoria's position is very close to her bicycle now. She immediately stands up, takes the egg from her shopping bag, and hits it on the man's head. There was a fishy smell in the air.

The man was furious beyond measure as he wiped his face from the egg. It made the egg hit his eyes. It looks like his eyes ached. Victoria immediately gave him a round kick, so the man falls.

Victoria had no idea why she could do such a great kick. This thing is genuinely extraordinary.

The other two thugs walk toward her and try to attack her simultaneously, which is not fair. One of them is carrying a knife with a grin. The other man gets ready with a baseball bat.

The big man had just recovered from the egg's attack and was blocking the path behind him.

"You can't go anywhere, Baby," said the man.

Victoria is reckoning with their action. Raymond still looks down helplessly while enduring the pain. She can't count on him.

"You should just have fun with us and not use violence. How about that?" asked the man holding the baseball bat.

"In your dreams!" exclaimed Victoria.

She attacks the man with a hard kick on his face. She hits his chest with an elbow and then punches him until the man falls. Victoria grabs the bat and uses it as a weapon.

The man holding the knife got into action. He slashed it with a dangerous motion. The big man attacks her from behind and chokes her. Victoria raises the baseball bat and hits his head violently many times.

The man loosened his grip. It was a chance for Victoria to turn around and beat him with an even harder punch to his face. Then she poked him with the tip of a stick and kicked him unconscious.

Suddenly a knife slashes her hand until it bleeds. Victoria is shocked while enduring the pain. Her body is getting hotter. Her hands were shaking as she turns her body to beats the man with the bat. The wind blows hard and hits the man until he is throwing several meters into the air. He falls hard against the trash.

Victoria can not believe what she had just done. She looks down at the palms of her hands. She swears that she saw her hand had been green, even if it had only been for a second. Now the green color disappears, and her hands are back to normal.

The thugs have all collapsed. Victoria threw a baseball club on the ground. She is shocked at what she had done. Her hands are still shaking, but not like before. Her heart is still beating fast while she runs over to Raymond and helps him to stand up.

"Let's get out of here immediately!" said Victoria. Raymond obeys to follows Victoria.

She sees bruises on Raymond's cheek, and his nose is bleeding. Victoria helps him to walk. Finally, they go out of that place.

Victoria dribbled her bicycle, and Raymond walked beside her, enduring the pain in his stomach.

"Thank you," said Raymond.

"You're welcome."

"Your hand is bleeding." Raymond pointed at Victoria's hand.

Victoria rubs her hand. "It's OK."

"Where did you learn martial? You looked so amazing. I didn't expect it. Really."

Victoria shrugged. "Same with me. I also don't know where all this power came from."

Then, they stop at a mini-market. Raymond buys two bottles of cold water and also the medicine to treat Victoria's hand. He hands a bottle to Victoria. They sit in front of the mini-market to drink and rest while Raymond helps Victoria treat the wound on her hand.

"Thank you, Ray," said Victoria. She can feel her cheeks blushes.

"Have you ever been exposed to radioactivity?" asked Raymond, startling at her.

"What radioactive? Are you crazy?!" exclaimed Victoria. She wants to laugh.

"You said that you also don't know where your strength comes from. Are you a descendant of Amazing Woman? Black Tiger? Kulk?" Raymond smiled at his own last words.

Victoria laughed too. "Kulk. Yeah, you are right. Maybe I'm a descendant of the Kulk. Do I look green to you?"

"No." Raymond laughed again while clutching his aching stomach.

"Is that hurt?" Victoria pointed to his stomach.

"A little." Raymond raises his index finger and thumb, forming a tiny shape out of the air.

Victoria studied Raymond's face. This afternoon, that man looked perfectly handsome. Now, he seems a little messy. Even so, his smile was cute.

"I really thank you for your help. I don't know what happens if you don't show up on time," Raymond said sincerely.

"Don't thank me. I didn't know why was I stopped my bike and went over to you. It just happened."

"You are a guardian angel that God sent for me," said Raymond, as if that was obvious.

"You are kidding. I'm not an angel. I'm a Kulk, remember? "

Raymond smiled sweetly. There was something in his eyes that she couldn't understand. There was an awkward admiration or attraction, and it made Victoria feel awkward.

"May I know, what made them beat you? Do you have a debt to them?" asked Victoria, distracting.

"I've never owed anyone a debt," Raymond said, arching his brows.

"So, what happened?"

Raymond sighed. "There is someone who doesn't like me at the office. I managed to make a new program and he thinks I'm cheating. I get a big bonus from my manager. He purposely sent me those thugs to beat me to death. He wants the flash disc. "

"Then, how? Did they manage to get hold of the flash disc? "

"No. I kept it in a safe place."
