4 17 Years Later

Xavier sat in his office dealing with restoring a city's losses from an otherworldly race's raid. They seemed to be coming more frequently these coming years, claiming to be looking for a saviour on the Empire of Froth's planet Durabbet. Tired, he leaned back and pinched the bridge of his nose. A knock on the door echoed from the other side.

"Sire, a summons," his guard announced. The guard opened the door and walked in with an orange paper and handed it to Xavier. He took it and flipped it open. Looking at a letter from his father, wanting to see his granddaughter at an anniversary ball. But his father even wrote that he wanted to meet her before the ball for something. He didn't know anything his father would need to tell her personally. Xavier had made sure she never had a reason to come to the Titanium Throne Palace for fear of seeing her face and having to explain the fatherly neglect from him. Thus his father had never seen her, even Xavier hadn't seen her since she was four out of obligation as she started training with the soldiers and the other blessed children. Her abilities seemed to have been growing everyday and Xavier had to find her an elder blessed to train her. Ever since he hadn't heard anything so she must have either died or was fine. He didn't care either way. Now his father wanted to meet her. After seventeen years of avoiding any confrontation he now had no way to refuse. He got up and walked outside. Xavier had to give this to her and lead her to the Titanium Throne Room. He sighed, what a tedious task. He decided to walk to the Green Palace to have time to think about what to say to her.

He approached the doors when they suddenly swung open with a woman rushing out yelling, ''Blake! If you don't hurry with that then dinner will be late!" She didn't seem to notice the prince standing there until she turned her head. She widened her eyes in surprised and immediately bowed stammering, ''Y-your highness! I-I'm so sorry!"

Xavier smiled and said, "It's alright." Then out of the corner of his eye he saw something bulky walking towards them. He turned towards it and saw a girl with jet black hair carrying a boar on her back. Two swords were strapped to her waist. She was wearing a red skintight sleeveless shirt and black dri fit leggings. She approached and called out, ''Clarisse! Look! I got a big one for the kids!" Clearly excited by the boar, she didn't notice the prince smirking at her.

"Idiot, idiot, idiot. Look who your talking to," Clarisse mumbled under her breath. Xavier just smirked even harder, knowing this is his daughter. Her eyes were the same as he remembered, if not brighter. The girl looked at the two of them before eyeing Xavier.

When it sunk in who he was, she immediately dropped the bloody boar and kneeled, "I apologize your highness. My rudeness is inexcusable, please punish me as you see fit." Xavier chuckled. He never expected this to happen. The obvious respect she had for him had replaced his worry that she would be angry and resentful. He wondered what was going through her head.

"Rise, are you not a royal princess of the Froth Kingdom?" Xavier poked at her. She rose and looked at him.

"In all honesty Sire, my title has never been official, and either way, should that override any respectful actions towards my elders? Who I am does not matter when showing respect is due,'' she replied instantly. Never a wavering thought in her head when it came for her morals. Xavier admired her resolve, reminding him of her mother. They are similar in ways only he could see.

Xavier handed her the summons and said, "Come, your grandfather, the King requests your presence in the throne room. Don't bother changing, we are running late as it is." She read the summons and nodded her head. Not showing any emotion. She must have great control over her emotions, Xavier thought. He lead her away after she put the boar in the kitchen. Xavier called a car to take them to the throne room, thinking about what his father must think upon seeing her outfit and her weaponry. Upon closer inspection, he saw many stashed daggers and the swords were in perfect condition. She also had dark blue fingerless gloves on. He wondered what they were, for they seemed to be enchanted. She also donned a simple silver chain with and aquamarine jewel encased in swirling silver designs. In all, her get up was clearly for hunting and with the blood on her shirt, she seemed to be successful. Showing up in the throne room in such a disgraced state would only insult the King and Nobles on the council. She didn't seem to mind the lack of preparation though. In fact, she didn't seem like anything, just a straight faced calm expression settled on her face.
