Wrong asssumption

She quickly opened the piece of paper yo devour the content of it but what she saw on it made her have a rethink about the whole situation.

"By the time you wake up I will be long gone. Back to your shadows where I have been for many years. The day you left me I swore that I will have my revenge on you but I have to bid my time to ensure it comes whenever you are very happy and probably think nothing can ever go wrong. You will never be truly happy for what you did to me and if you think this is my grand move. I am sorry to inform you I have not even made a move yet. I am just tasting the the depth of the waters. Think of it if I can abduct you from your family house with all the security then I can get you anytime I want.

For now enjoy your meal by the time you are through someone should be there to lead you out "

The letter fell from her hand immediately as she began to tremble. She had been thinking this was just a silly move from someone to save her from an unwanted marriage not knowing this was a ploy by someone who thinks she was in her happiest moment.

She picked up the letter again to have another look hoping to get a clue as to who must have written the letter but there was none. The handwriting didn't look familiar to her and there was no name or initials on the letter to give any sought of hint.

Suddenly there was a bang and she became alert. She reached out for the fork on the table and went into an hiding. She remembered the letter said someone was coming to pick her up. She will make sure to make a scapegoat of whoever it was.

From her hiding space she noticed a young man walk into the warehouse with no facial expression on his face. A closer look and she could see an ear piece in his ears. He was probably listening to music.

She quickly moved out from her position to make movements towards him. She tried to move without noise as best as she could as she been trained to do she couldn't tell how loud the music in his ears was hence the need to walk with caution.

Just as she got to his back he turned immediately but she was faster as she took him off his feet immediately making him crash freely on the floor. Before he could pick himself up she rolled over him to pin on the ground putting the fork to his throat with a deadly look on her face.

"Please please don't kill me take whatever you want and go. Please don't kill me" the young man pleaded as he shivers in fear closing his eyes to avoid eye contact with her.

Haley became confused at the situation befor her. She had reasoned whoever opened the warehouse must be someone who must be working with her kidnapper. But the look on the face of the youngman told her immediately that she was wrong with her assumptions.

She slowly stands up from his body but still pointing the fork at him incase he tries to be smart with her.

"Get up" she barked at him.

He quickly stood up with trembling legs.

"What is your name and why are you here? She questioned him her eagle eyes still very much on him ready to strike at any slight move.

"My.... name.. Is Tobin. I am... a staff. here " he stammared as he kept his reply short.

This time take a good look at Haley for the first time. His eyes almost popped out from shock as look of recognition appeared on his face.

'What is the place? Wait do you know me? She asked as she looks at him suspiciously

"Yes ma. This is F & M warehouse and you are the daughter of General Drinkwater. He replied giving her another short reply.

On hearing F & M Haley became a little relaxed as she realised she was in a warehouse not too far from her house. Who would have thought she would have thought her abducters who keep her somewhere that close.

"Tell me how you know me and what you know about me? " she asked again as she still maintain the fork at a throat level to him. Her line of duty has taught her never to drop her guard as the enemy could only bidding his time.
