4 The police

If the dissappearnce of Haley came as a surprise to everyone her sudden came as rude shock to them.she came back clothed in in a short and t-shirt as given to her by Tobin .He had even taken time out to drive her down to her family's mansion but left immediately for fear of being held responsible for her abduction. Even when Haley has assured him of his safety he refused to heed.

A semi comotion began to take place immediately she announced her presence at the gate. The soldiers In the mansion all began to run about in different directions in a manner she didnt understand. It was asif they were happy she was around but were making efforts to tighten the security. She was led directly into the living room of the mansion where are parents and other relations have been waiting for her.

They all ran to embrace except the men who of course stood back with a lot of relief on her their faces .

Her mother most especially could not be controlled as she cried on seeing her. He tear were no longer that of sorrow but of joy now. Haley could tell that they have all be worried about her as it was obvious none of them have slept .

She looked around hoping to see her fiance or someone from his family but didn't see anyone.she wasn't really expecting much from them hence she didn't allow it yet to her.

She walked up to her father to also embrace him. He was all smiles but beyond those smiles She could tell his eyes have questions on them. He must be itching to know who could have dared abduct his daughter .

"Tell us what happened to you? " General Drinkwater asked this time his voice carried a darktone .

"Please we should allow her rest first" her mother protested almost immediately because she knew this session would be followed with a lot of questions from different people .

'I am fine mother. I am also very curious about finding this person too." Haley said as she gave the narration of all she could remember before she was abducted and what she could remember after it. But she didnt tell them about the letter she found there as she was determined to get this person first before any other person to probably know what she must have done wrong.

"That means we would need to bring the owner of F&M in for questioning " Her father said as he immediately signalled his men around him.

"This is a police matter father. Allow us do our job" Haley replied her father befor his men could move . She was the only capable of challening her father on some ocassions.

At that moment policemen from her station came in headed by klinsmann her partner who looked very stressed but happy to see her . He was a very tall man with blue calm eyes. He was the calm one between them the two of them .

They hugged each other for while like little children who have been separated for more than five years. The thing is they have been friends for some many years from the moment they met in the police academy .

"At least now they will be no excuse.policemen are here I need someone to arrest Mr Abby the owner of F&M General Drinkwater blurted out in frustrstion .

"Father please ,please allow us do our job. Klinsmann please come with me " She said half dragging him from the presence of everybody to her room.

"And where are you going to? Her father asked looking at her suspiciously this time.

"I want to brief him privately about everything. At least i have told you all the story of what i can remember" She replied stopping briefly to reply him before she continued .

Haley Drinkwater was not one to succumb to the pressure from anybody hence no one except her father question her about anything. People say her stubborn nature was a direct inheritance from her father .

Every other person dispersed to their different location. She was back and they were happy with that. They would leave the rest of the work to the police. Although deep down everyone knew her father would take his own action separately
