3 Under a Starry Sky

Sitting on a bench on the roof, I started to take out portable kitchen utensils and some other things like meat, rice and some spices to give an extra taste to the food I wanted to make... by the way, how much stuff fits in a normal bag ?

The original Ban was praised for being good in the kitchen, I don't expect the food to be as good as Food Wars, but it's a fact that he made dishes at insane speed, so it wouldn't be surprising if I managed to make some common dishes with the remaining 15 minutes

The cat unconsciously acted like a human by nodding, seriously, that was cute, I took advantage of the fact that I had prepared another portion for myself and put the meat in another dish, and started to roast another piece, I cut it into small slices of meat while the cat looked at me with bright eyes as I placed the plate in front of her

Not caring, the cat took a piece and ate it, his eyes lit up even more, and he started to devour the food, I smiled a little and started to eat too, I have to admit it was delicious and in just 2 minutes, we were already done of eating it

When I finished I saw that Koneko in her cat form was licking the plate, seeing that I cut the other meat and put it on her plate

"You're really hungry, aren't you? Come on, you can eat more"

The cat's eyes sparkled again but he turned his face away from the meat and looked at me.

"You don't have to worry, you know.. I've lived with much less than that, so you can eat"

She looked at me some more as I smiled, then she started eating more and I started stroking her head, which she didn't seem to mind as I was feeding her, by the time she was done she looked satisfied and it was almost time to go back to the room

"Hey little one... I know the weather is fine but I have class, you know, if you want to eat some more, meet me in the central square tonight or tomorrow here at the same time, oh, tomorrow I'll bring fish"

Her eyes seemed to glow even brighter as she tried to imitate a cat's attitude.

"Mi-Meow!"

Hearing this half-assed imitation, I wanted to laugh, but I held back and just smiled, putting everything in my bag I just walked away towards the room, arriving in the room all eyes were on me, Aika was looking at me angrily, sitting in my chair , Issei started talking to me, and I found that the 'combat' between Aika and I had spread to the whole room, but I ignored it anyway.

Soon the classes ended and I went towards the library to do the activities, when I finished, I had already noticed that a white cat was watching me, I left the school when it was almost dark and I noticed at the gate a white cat waiting for me

"Hello little one, have you been waiting for me?"

I swear I saw the cat's cheeks turn pink, seriously... only in anime for this to exist, I took her in my arms gently and headed towards the square, where for me, is considered my home(Not for long)

Stopping in front of a bench that was the most reserved in the square, I put the cat on the bench and said smiling

"Welcome to my house…uh…I mean bed, it's not really a house but this is where I sleep, it's embarrassing isn't it? Honestly, I could afford a hotel, but I prefer the old-fashioned way"

While I was speaking, I saw on the clock in the center of the square that it was 7:00 pm, I took the kitchen utensils and went to prepare a simple dinner again, while I was speaking

"At school I had little time to cook food but now I can take as long as I want, if you don't mind, I'd like to tell you a little about my story..."

While preparing I commented about my childhood until I went to Tokyo, I wanted to talk about it because it would create a similarity between my story and Koneko's story, so it's easier to not worry about the plot anymore, I took enough time to tell my past and so in ten minutes the food was ready, but while he was talking he kept glancing at Koneko from time to time

At first she didn't care but when she found out about the abandonment she fixed her eyes on me, especially when I commented on Zivago, which must have brought her memories of when Rias saved her, until the end she didn't take her eyes off me, she only looked away when I said the food was ready and again her eyes lit up but soon lost their sparkle it was like she was in an inner monologue because of me

She seemed unmotivated, after eating I decided to lie down on the bench, but my legs were sticking out
