1 Into the unknown:

"Jade, have you decided on what to do next??" I heard an man in his mid-twenties ask, he had ashen brown hair, and a monocle in front of his right brown eyes, he was Professor Ludwig, my magic theory teacher.

We have known each other since I was 4 years old, as I was the second child to unlock mana at such a young age. The first person was king Eron II, since we were a merchant family dad finally found a chance to enter nobility so he didn't mind the expense as long as I learned, so he brought me two teacher to teach me magic theory and practice, also bringing me a sword master to teach me sworsmanship, while he taught me himself how to manage a company and the art of sales.

Fast forward 10 years later and here I am, needing to make a decision on either to become a scholar or a magistrate. Honestly speaking I like both branches and I wouldn't mind doing them both. "I plan on becoming both a scholar and magistrate." I responded professor Ludwig, "I can already see you doing a lot of great stuff in both branches. Don't forget that I will always help you." he said "Yeah I know. Thanks for everything professor Ludwig." I said shaking his hand firmly.

After that professor Ludwig left to Saharan, I headed left from the library where I was to the dining room I could hear father arguing with Heam again. As I entered I could see father looking over just to realise that it was me, "So what did you chose??" he asked glancing daggers at Heam, "I choose both branches." father seemed to explode with pride and enthusiasm.

"I am one step closer to becoming part of nobility!! Did they respond to your request??" Father asked with haggard breaths, "Yes and I was accepted, it's not like they will deny someone who scored perfectly on both branches and every other test they gave.".

"When are you to leave for school then!!" I glanced at Heam "In a week.", "Good we will leave tomorrow morning to the capital prepare your luggage, take only the necessary we will buy you some new clothes.", "Sure" I shrugged my shoulders.

"You can demand what to eat from Gorgua, as Heam and I need to go to the company" father said leaving with Heam on toe, "Good job on the application, I brought you a gift you will find it in your room." Heam walked away with father right after, leaving me alone.

"Gorgua bring me some food I am hungry!" I shouted to our maid. "At once, master." I heard a soft voice say. Gorgua's son also applied for the school of magic for teens, I wonder if he got accepted, if he did it would be mostly because of his continuous eavesdropping.

"Gorgua did your son get accepted by the MSFT??" I looked at the food that Gorgus brought me it was a normal tray of food. "He still hasn't got any answer just yet. When he does I will be sure to tell you." I looked at her and gave her a reassuring smile "Don't worry am sure he got accepted." she smiled at me "You are overestimating my son, master I wish he was as polite as you, instead he is always running into trouble. Anyway I will leave fo eat your food." "Thanks, and don't worry am sure your son is very polite." A smile creeped into Gorgua's face and she left.

Once I finished my food I got up from my chair and headed towards my room to get ready, yoday I will head into town and go for a hunt.
