17 Chapter 17- healed
a couple days later

Sam is sitting in the living room watching TV while Sean is helping Kasey change his bandages in the kitchen
Kelly walks into the living room taking the bandage off her arm and leans on the back of the couch next to Sam
"hey" Sam says looking over at Kelly
"hey, I know I've probaly said it a hundred times already but" Kelly says looking down at Sam's face
"thank you very much for everything" Kelly says with a smile to Sam
"and about your offer, I think I'll save that for another time" Kelly says leaning up off the couch
"that's ok, my offer will always be open, I'll write my address on a piece of paper for you before we leave" Sam says
"thanks" Kelly says walking into the kitchen
Kelly looks over at Sean wrapping up the rest of Kasey's wounds
Kelly starts to laugh but tries to hold it in
"hey what are you laughing at" Kasey says looking over at Kelly
"nothing it's just to bad you won't look like a mummy anymore" Kelly says finishing unwrapping the bandage off her arm
"oh shut up you looked like a mummy too" Kasey says throwing the roll of bandages at Kelly but misses
"looks like your aims a little off huh?" Kelly says looking back at the bandages and then at kasey
"oh I'll show you what off is" Kasey says
Kasey gets up and starts to chase Kelly around the cabin
"hey calm down you two" Sean says watching Kasey chase Kelly around the house
"hey, settle down" gray says coming down the stairs with Bella following behind him
Kelly and Kasey run into gray and knock him over onto the floor
Bella starts to laugh while looking down at gray, Kelly and Kasey
"sorry dad" Kasey and Kelly says as they get up
gray stands up
"you 2 need to start being more careful all of your wounds haven't healed yet and you two are running around trying to reopen them" gray says as he scolds Kelly and Kasey while Bella walks over to the kitchen
"go get some rest you two" gray says as he starts to walk away
as gray walks away he doesn't see the role of bandages infront of him so he ends up tripping on them and once he hits the ground Kelly and Kasey run up the stairs while Sean and Bella laugh from the kitchen
"Kelly and Kasey, get your butts back here" gray says as he stands up and runs up the stairs to chase after Kelly and Kasey

an hour later

everyone's sitting at the table eating dinner
"a few days from now we'll go back" gray says as he eats
"and I think it would be best if we move" Bella says looking over at Kasey and Kelly
"what?!" Kelly and Kasey says standing up out of their seats
"sit back down" gray says glaring over at Kelly and Kasey
Kelly and Kasey sit back down and countine eating
"like I said, I think it would be best if we moved to another city" Bella says taking a bite from her food
"what city is left?" Kelly asks eating her food
"what?" Bella asks looking towards Kelly
"I asked what city is there left that we can move to?" Kelly with an angry tone rising
"we can't just keep moving when there's a problem, I'm sure you can go to any city and ask about us and there's your info on us" Kelly says putting her fork down
"it doesn't matter if we find a new city to go to there will still be problems" Kelly says with an angry
"so what's the point of moving if we're just gonna move again, we've barely been here for a year and we're already moving again" Kelly says raising her voice towards her mom
"don't raise your voice" gray says standing up and looking at Kelly
"no, maybe if you were actually here you would understand what I'm saying" Kelly says as she sits back down and countines eating
a silent and awkward atmosphere fills the room for the rest of dinner

later that night in Kelly's room
Kelly's sitting at her desk just thinking when she hears a knock on the door and someone comes in
Kelly looks back to see who it is and sees her dad walking in and shes turns back around and lays her head on the desk
"hey, I'm sorry" gray says taking a chair and putting it besides Kelly's desk and sitting down
"for what" Kelly says with her head still at the desk
"for disappearing on us" Kelly says lifting her head up and looking at gray
"yea..." gray says putting his head down looking away from Kelly
"I'm sorry for yelling at you during dinner, I'm just tired of moving around" Kelly says with a sigh looking at the wall ahead of her
"you've built a life here already and it's not easy to just leave it, I get it I felt that way to when I left" gray says looking up at Kelly with a nervous tone full of regret
"so then why did you still leave?" Kelly says looking back at gray with a sad tone
"to protect you guys, no matter how much I didn't want to leave I had to and I knew I'd regret" gray says making eye contact with Kelly
"and boy did I regret it" gray says with a small laugh leaning back in the chair
"but now looking at the person you've become, I'm kinda glad I did cause now look at you guys you've grown strong" gray says
Kelly stands up out of her chair and hugs gray
"I'm glad your here now, I don't what would've happened if you hadn't shown up" Kelly says
"you probaly wouldn't be here right now that's for sure" gray says jokingly hugging Kelly back
Kelly stands up as gray gets up out of the chair
"well you should probably get some rest now" gray says walking towards the door
"I'll see you tomorrow, goodnight" gray says walking out of Kelly's room closing the door behind him
"goodnight" Kelly says watching gray walk out the door
Kelly waits and listens for gray to go to his and Bella's room while looking at her bed thinking
Kelly walks out of her room and walks down the hall
Kelly enters a room and sees Sean sleeping peacefully on the bed
Kelly enters the room and closes the door behind her and walks over to the bed and looks at Sean who looks to be in pain and having a nightmare
Kelly sits down next to the bed and grabs Sean's hand
Kelly watches as Sean calms down a little as if he wasn't in as much pain
Kelly then lays her head down on the bed next to Sean and eventually falls asleep while holding Sean's hand

the next morning

Sean wakes up and feels a warmth on his hand near the edge of the bed
Sean sits up and looks over to see Kelly laying here head down on Sean's bed sleeping while holding Sean's hand
Kelly starts to wake up and puts her head up to look at Sean
"good morning" Sean says looking down at Kelly
"good morning" Kelly says as she stands up
Kelly goes to move her hand but feels something holding it
Kelly looks over to see Sean holding her hand and covers her face with her other hand as her face turns red
"I forgot about that" Kelly mumbles to herself
Kelly hears Sean laughing and moves her hand a bit to look at him
"you know your cute when your embarrassed" Sean says looking up at Kelly with a smile
Sean pulls Kelly towards him catching Kelly off guard
"so you don't have to hide it from me" Sean says putting his hand on Kelly's head
Kelly closes her eyes and puts her forehead on Sean's, "yea" Kelly says as her and Sean sit there for a moment
