3 Chapter 3

Craé's POV

"You saw a guy? Then his name is Jay? Girl, you kidding me?" Selene asked me.

I chuckled. "Not just I saw him, I talked with him! He also saved me!" I said then think about the things he had done for me.

Selene looked at me, she looked frightened. "Nevertheless, you don't know that guy. Maybe he's a monster or something?"

"And why are you saying that Jay is a monster or something?" I laughed. "You look more scared than me! By the way, what do you think about that black hoodie guy? Is he like some kind of terrifying guy in a horror movie?"

Selene laughed. "Oh my dear friend. Horror movie and your life is different, okay? By the way, where is Addie? I didn't saw her for like weeks!"

I pouted then rested my chin on my hand. "I saw her yesterday with Maddie, I felt betrayed." I answered with a sigh.

I was about to say something when Selene slammed her hands on the desk. "What?! She talked with her?!"

My lips parted then nodded. "I saw them at Addie's house. Then I heard them mentioning my name, are they going to do something?" I said while wondering what will gonna happen to me if they'll do something at me.

"No, I won't let them do something at you. Craé, you are not alone. Don't let them near you, they might hurt you. Okay?"

I nodded. I was a bit shocked when she reacted like that. But even I, I'm like that when I saw Addie and Maddie.

"Oh, by the way, I need to go. Goodbye Craé! Keep safe!" Selene said then left.

I just don't understand why strange things comes in my life. First, this black hoodie guy. Second, that guy named Jay. Third, Maddie talking with Addie! They hate each other then, that thing happened. Are they faking things? I wish I could go back to December where that accident happened.

I know it's kinda freaky and sometimes I just wish that I could change my life, but who wouldn't?

One of the freaky things that came into my life is this crazy Jay!

"Yo," he said while smiling.

I hissed then looked at him, pissed off. "What the heck Jay? Can't you just say, hey Craé! Good afternoon! Can I sit here?" I mimicked his voice. "Just like that!" I said.

"Woah, woah chill! I'm not your enemy," he said.

"I don't care, anyways, how do you know I'm here?" I asked him.

"Because I want to drink a coffee and this is the nearest café I can see?" he questioned.

"Wow, what a great answer. Okay, what a cool way to make me believe you're saying the truth----"

"B-But----"

"Nope, I will pretend that I believe in you." I said sarcastically.

"You really didn't change huh?" he asked me which made me curious.

"What? What do you mean?" I asked him.

"Oh, I said you really didn't change your clothes." he laughed. I rolled my eyes.

"No one cares, no one will gonna smell me. Okay?" I said then crossed my legs.

"Well, I do." he said then looked at me in the eyes then sighed.

I looked at him then laughed. I was like, owkaaay? Why does he cares? If he'll gonna do that I'mma simp for him, joke.

Why am I falling that fast??? Omg, sad right now. Kidding! I won't fall for that guy, not exactly my type. I would rather fall asleep.

"Craé, I know you wouldn't believe me but..." Jay looked at me with his dead serious eyes. "I am the only trustworthy person right now that you needed to trust."

"And?" I asked him.

"You shouldn't trust anyone right now." he said which made me shocked.

"What do you mean? What about my friends?" I asked him. "I know my friends for like decades."

"Yeah, I know but you needed to trust me in this kind of situation right now. I know it's kinda hard, but the people you have or you trust isn't that trustworthy. I can't tell you, it's kinda crazy."

"And why should I trust you more than my friends and family if you're the person I haven't met that much?" I asked him.

"Because some people can throw away the years and the memories if things get messy. They are like that, I know it."

"How? I-I mean it's too fast, you know. They are not like that, if you'll gonna backstab my friends and family then I should avoid you." I said coldly.

"Craé, listen to me. If you'll come with your friends, you'll be in great danger."

"And how could you know?!" I asked him angrily. The other customers looked at us. "I'm sorry," I apologized at them.

"I can't explain it to you, it's complicated." he answered with a calm voice.

"Then I guess I prefer to be with my friends than to be with you." I said then left.

I just couldn't understand that guy, He's so strange! Why should I listen to that guy? I shouldn't have trusted that guy, I just don't want to be attached to people that have secrets that they can't say to me. Like maybe they think that I can't be trusted or something?

This whole thing freaks me out. But I kinda have this feeling that I should do what Jay said, and I don't want to be with him for now so I guess I'll stay away with them. Yeah, that's right.

What now? Aish.

"Aish! Where am I?! I'm so tired and exhausted!" I screamed then sat on the grass. I'm here right now in the middle of the nowhere and I don't know what to do!

*kruuuu*

I looked at my belly then sighed. "I know you're hungry already. We will find something that we can eat, okay?" then tapped my belly.

When I stood up, I lost balance. How nice! With sarcasm.

"Ouch!" I winced. "Wait... what?" then everything became black.
