30 Chapter 30

Hyun Na Bi did not turn around even when she heard footsteps. She was lost in her thoughts to bother about what's happening around.

Hyun Na Bi looked up only when she heard Jin Yong's voice, "Are you feeling okay now? Did you eat? Did you take the medicine?"

Hyun Na Bi did not say a word and continued staring at him.

Jin Yong continued talking, "You know that you're anemic. Why did you drink so much? When did you start having this habit? Was it Nam Joon Woo? Answer me"

Seeing Hyun Na Bi shivering, he removed his jacket and placed it over her but Hyun Na Bi pushed it away.

Hyun Na Bi was staring at Jin Yong, "You knew didn't you?"

Jin Yong could feel the anger in her voice but he chose to ignore it. Her health was more important to him. She could say whatever she wanted after she had eaten.

Jin Yong started opening the box of food he got for her, "Eat this and then let's talk"

Hyun Na Bi continued staring at him without moving a muscle. Jin Yong tried to touch her forehead to see if her body temperature was back to normal but Hyun Na Bi moved away her head.

Hyun Na Bi wanted an answer, "Answer my question first"

Jin Yong knew very well that she was talking about Hyun Dan Bi but he did not want to discuss about her now.

When Jin Yong did not answer, Hyun Na Bi continued, "You knew and still you didn't tell me"

Jin Yong pretended to be ignorant, "What are you talking about?"

But Hyun Na Bi was not ready to play with him, "Stop pretending. I know that you saw me yesterday at the party."

Jin Yong knew that he could no longer put off this topic. It was not that he did not want to tell Na Bi about Hyun Dan Bi, he just felt that Hyun Dan Bi wasn't worth discussing about. Jin Yong had seen Hyun Dan Bi before four years, a year after he had settled here. Jin Yong was quite shocked to see Hyun Dan Bi alive after he had attended her funeral. The worst part was he saw Hyun Na Bi's mother also and he immediately understood what was happening here. Jin Yong was aware that both of them did not like Hyun Na Bi and he knew that they did not deserve her kindness. When he confronted Hyun Dan Bi, she had pretended as if she had never met him before and Jin Yong chose to do the same. From his mother Jin Yong had come to know that Hyun Dan Bi was now with Mr. Nam as she was pregnant with his child. He knew that both Hyun Dan Bi and her mother never cared about Na Bi and they were selfish people who were bothered only about themselves. Jin Yong knew how much it would affect Hyun Na Bi if she came to know the truth so he had chosen to not tell her. They weren't worth her time and energy. But it looked like Hyun Na Bi was in no mood to listen to him. Jin Yong hadn't expected to see her in the party because he was sure that Nam Joon Woo would never take her there. After the kiss with Hyun Na Bi he needed to pacify Ahn Se Na and his mother had ordered him to go to the party and that was the only reason why he had gone there. If he had known Hyun Na Bi would come there he would have definitely told her earlier or stopped her from coming.

But Jin Yong couldn't tell her all that and even if he told her she was in no mood to listen to him, "Na Bi… I…"

But Hyun Na Bi was more than disappointed, she felt betrayed, "How could you not tell me that she was alive? Oppa, everyone else can fool me but how could you?"

With a sigh Jin Yong sat down next to her, "Na Bi I wanted to tell you but…"

"But what?"

Jin Yong said the first lie that came to his mind, "She did not want me to tell you"

Hyun Na Bi scoffed, "When did you ever listen to anyone other than yourself?"

Hyun Na Bi knew very well about Jin Yong and she was sure that he would never listen or obey someone like Hyun Dan Bi because he hated her.

"I was going to tell you"

All Jin Yong wanted to do was calm down Hyun Na Bi, but she did not believe him, Hyun Na Bi said very calmly, "Noo… you wouldn't have told me this even after 100 years"

Jin Yong hadn't mentioned a word about her sister even when they met in the past. He had told Hyun Na Bi everything about his past but he hadn't breathed a word about Hyun Dan Bi. The last time they met, they spoke for hours but he hadn't told her a single word about her sister or mentioned that she was alive and that he had seen her with her mother. Jin Yong was never going to tell her.

Hyun Na Bi was not wrong and Jin Yong knew that and he did not want Hyun Na Bi to get sick worrying about them.

Jin Yong placed the jacket over Hyun Na Bi and said to her, "Na Bi… It's cold lets go inside. Be angry with me but don't spoil your health for them. they are not worth your time."

Jin Yong stood up and extended his hand to help Hyun Na Bi get up but she was just looking at him for a whole minute without saying a word and then she spoke finally after heaving a sigh.

"I hate what you have become now Oppa"

Hyun Na Bi was too calm and Jin Yong knew that he was not going to like her words.

Hyun Na Bi continued, "This is not you. It will be too late when you realize the truth. Even if you regret everything what you did, there will be no point… because you would have already lost everything"

Jin Yong could feel that Hyun Na Bi was hinting about his family issues about he could not give up now. He simply said, "You don't know anything"

The look in Hyun Na Bi's eyes, it was pity, as she said, "No, you're wrong. I know more than what you think you know"

That was true, Jin Yong had told her everything the last time they met and he wasn't even aware of most of the matters yet.

Jin Yong did not want Hyun Na Bi to look at him like that. Why would she pity him? What did she know about him? Jin Yong couldn't say a word.

But Hyun Na Bi continued speaking, "Do you know what hurt me more than seeing my sister alive along with my mother? You. You knew that she was alive and they both were cheating me and dad and still you hid the truth from me. You knew how much it affected me and yet you chose to stay silent."

Jin Yong was now pleading her, "Na Bi… Listen to me"

But Hyun Na Bi was done with him, "No... You listen to me. I meant each and every word I said in the morning. I'm sorry for loving you and being around you. I hope you live happily without any regret."

With a deep bow, Hyun Na Bi left the place.

Hyun Na Bi stopped in her tracks when she heard Jin Yong say, "What about you? Are you sure you won't regret your decision?"

Without looking back Hyun Na Bi answered, "No one gets second chances with their life but I got it and I will live the way I want with no regrets." And with that she left.
