23 Chapter 23

Back to present:

Ahn Se Na was eagerly waiting for the morning to arrive so that she can tell Nam Joon Woo straight to his face that Hyun Na Bi played him and she saw her kissing Jin Yong. She was waiting in the parking lot where Nam Joon Woo usually parked his bike or car. If she wasn't happy then she wouldn't let anyone be happy. Jin Yong hadn't given her a call or even sent a text to her yesterday.

Her blood was boiling every time she thought about what happened yesterday. Ahn Se Na had seen clearly that Jin Yong was the one who initiated the kiss but that was all Hyun Na Bi's fault. If she hadn't taken him to her room then this wouldn't have happened. She will show her power to Hyun Na Bi very soon if she doesn't back down.

Like all days, Nam Joon Woo came to pick up Hyun Na Bi from her dorm.

Hyun Na Bi smiled awkwardly at Nam Joon Woo and did not say a word as he started driving.

Seeing that Hyun Na Bi was unusually silent, Nam Joon Woo asked her, "Why are you silent?"

Hyun Na Bi was fidgeting with her hands for a minute and said before she changed her mind, "I kissed him…"

Seeing Nam Joon Woo's confused face, Hyun Na Bi continued, "Jin Yong Oppa…"

Nam Joon Woo smiled as if it did not bother him, "Why are you telling that to me?"

"I don't want you to think that I kissed you just to get him back"

Nam Joon Woo did not show that in his face but he felt a slight pang in his heart. He was used to seeing the woman move on from him as he was not into dating. Nam Joon Woo was used to sleeping with different woman whenever he parties but hearing Hyun Na Bi tell him that she kissed Jin Yong hurt him. Was he starting to see her more than a friend? Was he falling in love with Hyun Na Bi?

Nam Joon Woo suddenly asked Hyun Na Bi, "Do you love him?"

Hyun Na Bi answered carefully what she thought, "Love? I don't know. Even after all the horrible things he did I couldn't hate him. I have known him my entire life and he was good to me for the most part of it. I'm not sure if I love him but I know that I don't hate him."

Nam Joon Woo nodded his head and asked her, "Will you be able to ever forget him?"

"I forgave him for everything he did. As for forgetting…"

Nam Joon Woo no longer wanted to hear it. He stopped her, "Fine let's never talk about him. "

Hyun Na Bi did not know why but she was feeling so guilty, "I just wanted to be the first person to tell you that. I did not want any misunderstanding"

Nam Joon Woo pinched her cheeks playfully or rather painfully, "Okay I forgive you. You can relax."

"Excuse me. Who said anything about forgiving? I was not apologizing to you. You kissed a girl at night after kissing me in the day."

"Fine. My mistake"

As they neared the parking, Hyun Na Bi sighed, "Uhh… I hate studying"

Nam Joon Woo was always looking for an excuse to not attend the classes, asked excitedly, "Then should we leave and go somewhere else?"

"No we already missed few classes. Did we forget any assignment? I feel like I'm forgetting something…"

"Relax. When did you bother about studies?"

"Your right. But just for the sake of the fees I paid I should complete this semester"

Nam Joon Woo was about to park his car and that's when he and Hyun Na Bi saw Ahn Se Na running to them fuming and ready to kill anyone.

Ahn Se Na took large steps and when she reached them she was about to slap Hyun Na Bi but Nam Joon Woo held her hand.

"What the hell are you doing? Are you trying to make a scene here?"

Ahn Se Na spoke silently, she did not want anyone to know that Jin Yong had cheated her, "Yesterday you kissed my boyfriend and today you're shamelessly flirting with Joon Woo?"

But Hyun Na Bi replied coolly, "I really don't understand how one is related to the other"

Seeing Hyun Na Bi so relaxed and calm, Ahn Se Na turned to Nam Joon Woo, "Joon Woo she has been using you to get back my boyfriend. I saw her kissing him yesterday"

Nam Joon Woo turned towards Hyun Na Bi, "Is it true?"

Ahn Se Na knew very well about Nam Joon Woo and she was sure that he would no longer be friends with her. So she turned to look at Hyun Na Bi with a gleam of victory in her face.

Hyun Na Bi could see that Nam Joon Woo was playing with Ahn Se Na, so she went along with it and smiled and blew a kiss to him, "Yes"

Nam Joon Woo took Hyun Na Bi's hand in his, "It is fine my love. As long as you're happy I don't mind"

Ahn Se Na was looking from Nam Joon Woo to Hyun Na Bi unable to believe what's going on here. She had expected an angry outburst from Nam Joon Woo but here they were flirting with each other in front of her eyes. The smile was wiped of Ahn Se Na's face.

Ahn Se Na lost her cool, "Are you mad? I told you she kissed another man"

Nam Joon Woo did not let go of Hyun Na Bi's said and said to Ahn Se Na coolly, "So what? Did you not kiss me after you started dating Jin Yong?"

Hyun Na Bi pretended to be surprised with a hand covering her mouth, "Really? How scandalous"

Nam Joon Woo kissed the top of Hyun Na Bi's head and said, "If you want to kiss someone I'm here waiting for you. Don't kiss anyone else. I will be sad"

Hyun Na Bi smiled coyly at Nam Joon Woo, "Of course. Whatever you say"

Ahn Se Na did not know if they were messing with her or if Nam Joon Woo had gone nuts.

Ahn Se Na started screaming at them, making several heads turn, "What? What the hell are you two doing? You're joking right?"

Nam Joon Woo put his hands on Hyun Na Bi's shoulder and dragged her in without a backward glance at Ahn Se Na, "Come let's go in"

Ahn Se Na screamed at the back, "NAM JOON WOO…" but they both left the place leaving her alone.

Hyun Na Bi and Nam Joon Woo were rolling on the floor laughing. Ahn Se Na's face was so hilarious when they were leaving and they were finding it hard to stop laughing even in the classroom.

Hyun Na Bi had no idea that Ahn Se Na saw them yesterday. Even if she saw them, she did not care. It was Jin Yong who wanted to kiss her. Hyun Na Bi was no longer interested in all this drama but it looked like she would be able to get rid of it anytime soon.

Hyun Na Bi was free in the afternoon and she was ready to return to the dorm but Nam Joon Woo did not allow her.

In the car Hyun Na Bi asked Nam Joon Woo, "Where are we going?"

"Shopping"

"Wait. Shopping for what?"

"We are going to a party and you are coming with me as my date"

"What? Never"

Nam Joon Woo did not want to take any rich spoiled brat as his date so he was pleading to Hyun Na Bi, "Please tell me you are coming to the party"

Hyun Na Bi looked at him suspiciously, "What party?"

"My father's sixtieth birthday celebration"

Hyun Na Bi hadn't expected him to take her to such an important event, "You want me to come with you to your father's birthday party? Really??! Have you gone mad?"

Nam Joon Woo knew that this will turn heads but he was sure his father wouldn't mind. His father knew very well about him and Nam Joon Woo was sure his father wouldn't bother Hyun Na Bi just for being his plus one in a party. At least being with Hyun Na Bi would make the party more bearable.

When Nam Joon Woo did not answer, Hyun Na Bi continued, "Come on you know this is not a good idea. I know what will happen in such parties and all the woman will look at me as if I'm a gold digging whore. I'm not looking to get shamed so you can go alone without me."

Nam Joon Woo was expecting this so he changed his approach and tried to convince her emotionally, "I won't keep you there for long. Just thirty minutes. I really don't want to be in the same room as that woman for such a long time. Please save me..."

"Who are you talking about?"

"An evil witch who had entered my house as my step mommy"

Hyun Na Bi felt sorry for him but still she refused, "I'm sorry but I'm not coming with you"

"Just this once. Please"

They got down from the car and Hyun Na Bi was about to walk away but Nam Joon Woo was kneeling in the middle of the street in front of her.

Everyone was looking at her as if she was an evil woman who was treating her boyfriend poorly and she could hear the whispers around her.

Hyun Na Bi knew that she had no choice, "Fine. You owe me one"

Nam Joon Woo smiled, "I love you so much. Come let's pick out a dress" and dragged her inside the store to select the dress.
