The male lead is terrible ! He rape her and abuses the female lead any chance he gets. Meanwhile the female lead suffers but still manages to stay in love with the abusive and terrible husband ....how?! She has no dignity. I kept reading to see if it got better but no. *WARNING* The synopsis is total bull****. This story is not a romance. It's a twisted fantasy where the female lead is actually an idiot and the male lead is an abusive rapist. Again. Like every story by Ye Fei Ye. If things get better between them, based on previous novels on this site, it won't happen until around chapter 700 at least. So if you insist on torturing yourself by reading this, wait until that many chapters are out. People say Ye Fei Ye is infamous for misunderstandings. Bull**** again. No misunderstanding results in rape or assault. The male leads of YFY don't misunderstand; they are sadistic abusers who don't understand what communication is. And the female leads are masochistic idiots who form a twisted dependence on their abusers. And it's complete bull**** to say the male lead actually loved the female lead the whole time. If he loved this person, he would not hit her, or bite her, or rape her. Ye Fei Ye is ****ed up to write this **** continuously. There are plenty of ways to have the same plot, with emotional pain and meaningful obstacles in their relationship, without glorifying rape and abuse.

So far all I'm reading is abuse upon more aduse. I feel that the female protagonist doesn't really have any personality other than being weak AF. Like can she give herself some dignity. P.S. Reading this book gets he so triggered on so many levels for the abuse mentally and physically done to the girl.

Dude. The summary got nothing to do with the story. AT. ALL. Stop misguiding thee readers. I've read all the translated chapters but it only contains rape, battery, and depression. Total disappointment.

We want stories that empower women. We know we are powerful but we want stories of women who struggle to get to the end. Who needs this crappy thing about a woman so desperate for live that she endures rape and all other forms of abuse? What does this tell young girls all over the world? Men are strong and women are strong too. Both genders can stand up together and shine together, helping each other to achieve their goals. These are the kind of stories that will change the next generation.

If you're looking for happy-go-lucky stories, then just avoid this book like your body is on fire. I read part of it, and I just couldn't take all the abusive rape from the ML. I tried giving it the benefit of the doubt, but after 150 chapters things just didn't get better so yeah. The FL is so stupid like she is in love with this man that has raped her multiple times. LIKE WTF?!

I read it up till chapter 160 on violentfluffball and it is an amazing but tragic read. This MC is really cute and sweet, but she also is in a position were she can't really talk about her feelings for the ML which creates a lot of misunderstandings. On the other hand, the ML is a complete abusive, rapist, condisending, prick who should you get hit by a truck. I mean, the guy raped our cute MC bunny several times while saying that she wants it!😠😠😠Not to mention he also hits her whenever he does something wrong. I love the book, but seriously, the guys a sick that should really go die......
