1 She is dead

Jason watch how Ayane pack her things in a hurry, he is worried on her sudden decision to leave the organization, "Ayane, why do you suddenly want to leave the organization? What are you planning to do? You know that you can't easily leave and how can you survive a Class Z mission with just you?"

Jason knows quite well what is the Class Z mission, it is a mission above the Class SSS. Going in a mission like this is suicidal! How could he bear to let her leave like this!

Ayane deeply sigh while she put the last latest gun model in her black bag, he looked at him with resolute eyes and said, "Even if I tell you the reason you won't understand me. Jason, I know that you care for me but no one can change my decision and I will do everything to finish the mission."

Jason Falmore is her colleague and best friend from this organization called the Blood Dragon Palace. This place is a home and training ground for assassins, in which they are here to be trained, execute missions and kill.

Both of them were abandoned children, grow up from the same orphanage and were kidnap by this place at the age of six.

Growing up in this kind of place which she didn't even consider her home, she loathed and hates it but she had no choice. If she didn't fight, she wouldn't be able to survive in here, thus both of them fight through the depths of hell to survive in this godforsaken place.

Both of them can't even count how many lives they have took. Eighteen long years is already enough that she was here.

If she tells him the reason that she wants to fall in love, get married and have a family and two cats, he will just laugh at me that I, Ayane Gaude the no. 1 agent of this place will think of this reason to leave this place.

Well it was one of those reasons, and also the biggest reason is for freedom. She's tired of this life and she doesn't want to die with many regrets.

The married thing was because during her mission four months ago in Los Angeles that she saw this couple in a secluded area acting so lovingly and sweetly in front of her that she gets so piss off that she killed both of them. Well, they are also a part of her assassination target.

That's why she decided to take this Class Z mission and she will bet everything for the sake of her freedom, that's why she must never fail the mission.

Jason also knows how hard they live here. He knows quite well on what is she feeling in this place, but he didn't want her to go in a mission like that. He also want her to be happy but he can't let her go, the moment he let her go, he could feel that she would be truly gone for good.

"But, Ayane! You know what happen to Darren right? And also to Fana, Crystal, Lester and Brie and to...to..," He almost mentioned everyone that had failed the Class Z mission just to leave this place. None of them survive and they died, thus no one ever think of leaving this place again.

Her things are already prepared for this mission so she need to go, Ayane look at him and she can sense how worried he is, but she is already determine to leave, she hardened her heart and said, "Well I'm not them! I will never fail! I've been training for these my whole life Jason and no one can stop me even if it's you."

With her reply, his hand from her shoulders slid down and a trace of sadness and disappointment could be seen from him eyes, not even him could stop her, with a deep desolate sigh and acceptance, he said, "Fine! But Ayane when you succeed I wish that you can have what you want and... Just be safe"

Hearing his response, Ayane hug him for the last time. In this place filled with hatred, malice, darkness and cruelty, he is the only person who stood by her side without any ill intent. If she could bring him along with her, she would but she can't.

With a tight hug, Ayane with a voice of sadness and determination, she said, "I'm leaving and I'm sorry"

After that hug, Jason could only look at her departing figure until she finally left the gates of the building.

If only he could just embrace her and never let go, if only he had the ability to persuade her to not leave but her decision is final and not even him can't make her stay.

When he got back from his mission a week ago, he found out that she storms to the Higher up Elders office requesting to leave the organization and everyone thought she has lost her mind.

Even the Higher Elders were adamant from not making her leave and executing the mission, but the Class Z mission is a type of mission that didn't need a permission from the Higher Elders to execute.

It is up to the agents to choose this or not, once you completed a mission like this. Your wish will be granted. That's why for them, the Class Z mission is a ticket to leave this place but they also know what type of mission is behind it.

Everyone know that you can't leave from this place, it is either stay or die from here. No one was able to leave from here but there was a legend from this place that only one was able to execute it but that was twenty-five years ago before we arrive at this place.

Jason just look gloomily at the dark sky with just a few stars shining the night sky, he silently wish for her success and safety.

A week later, inside the 4th cafeteria floor at level 18.

Everyone is busy chatting while eating, they heard that Ayane Gaude their top one agent executed a Class Z mission, thus she became the center of attention and quietly shook the other members of the Blood Dragon Palace.

Everyone thought she is insane from doing a suicidal mission like that.

"Jason! What's the news on your best friend's mission? Did she survive?"

"No one can leave this place that is our fate when we enter this place"

"But she is the no. 1 agent here, maybe she could achieve it! That girl was never ordinary!"

"Hmph! Who knows if she survive or not!"

"Did you forget that she successfully executed a Class SSS mission three times?"

"But it was a Class SSS mission not a Class Z mission! There is a big difference!"

"But she also never failed a mission and executed all of them perfectly!"

Jason on the other side is quietly eating, hearing them talking about her like she is dead, he tightly grip his spoon and shouted in anger, "Will all of you shut up and just eat! or do you want me to sew all of your mouths for all of you to shut up?!"

He can't stand these fools! Bad mouthing her when his here. It's already been a week when she leave the organization and no one still knew if she survives or not. They still haven't had any news about her well-being. Even the higher elders are busy finding her whereabouts.

"Dude, calm down Ayane is strong, that girl is like the daughter of a devil so stop worrying about her. She can get through this!" He heard Saimon said.

Jason know very well how strong she is, but he can't stop worrying about her.

"I can't believe our leader left us, it will be boring that she's not here anymore" Daniel said while playing with his food in a bored manner.

Aside from him, Saimon and Christian is also close to Ayane, during group missions, it was always them the ones that accompany her and she was their leader.

Not until they hear a loud bang from the entrance.

"Guys! Guys! Big news!" It was Ben the gossip guy. They all look at him and from his flustered expression, everyone know he has some big news for them.

"What is it?" An agent asked.

"It's Ayane! Our no.1 agent! I got the news from the higher ups! She is dead! She didn't survive the mission!" After his announcement the place fall into silence and Jason's world shattered along with it.

"I told you no one can leave this place!"

"So not even our top agent can accomplish the mission"

"She didn't even have a chance, so as we"
