36 Yuan Meng's POV (Part 2)

In the City High School, Yuan Meng stood while thinking.

She shook her head and spoke.

"That can't have happened. That grumpy Jiao was there as well, and Qian'er is also a huge dummy. He won't do such a thing at that time."

With that, she entered the class. The same events as the previous class went on because the students didn't recognize her. She didn't waste much time on them and quickly started with her lecture.

As she was teaching, many boys talked among themselves about her, but still, she didn't bother with them and continued lecturing.

Many a time, the boys would give her weird looks.

Yuan Meng quickly got irritated.

Being a woman, she did like to hear compliments, but some things annoyed her.

According to her, only Ye Qian could look at her with those eyes.

But Ye Qian never looked at her as a pervert and always had love and care for her. That was what she liked in him the most.

Yuan Meng was angry and suddenly called a few boys who were commenting and punished them.

Though she was a good teacher, some things were going off-limits. It wasn't like these students were of her class which she knew thoroughly.

She called the students and punished them for their misbehaviour

After the lecture, Yuan Meng was utterly exhausted as she didn't like how people looked at her.

She took a large breath and went to the washroom to wash her face.

While washing her face, she took off her glasses and looked at her reflection in the mirror.

She touched her face and pinched it.

"It really is much smoother than this morning."

"Qian'er, what did you do to me? Do you want everyone to look at your

wife like this?"

She had a self-mocking smile as she put on her glasses.

Picking up her stuff, she walked out of the bathroom.

__________

By the end of all her classes, Yuan Meng could not control herself. She just about beat a few of the boys and ran over a few of the male teachers.

During the last lecture period of the day, Yuan Meng went to the school garden. She had it off, so she sat on the bench nearby a small fountain.

Yuan Meng closed her eyes and breathed slowly, trying to calm down.

As she breathed in and out, she suddenly felt something in her body was moving, helping her to calm down and giving her extreme comfort.

"Why does it feel the same as what Qian'er did to me yesterday?"

"It feels so comforting."

"It seems like some of Qian'er's energy is still in me."

Yuan Meng smiled and looked around.

There were many trees and a small natural pond in the garden.

"It really has such a soothing effect."

"Qian'er, what were you doing all this while? Though you are the same man, there are many things different about you now."

"Why do I feel like you suffered much more than we did?"

"Everything will be good now. Our small family is back and will always stay together as you promised."

Yuan Meng sighed as she looked at the sky. The clouds were slowly moving as if they were snails and tortoises.

Yuan Meng smiled.

"If we are really unable to afford to live in this Star City, then we might go back to mom and dad and help them on the farms. It's not like you need to live in a big city to live a good life."

As she thought, she trailed off and gushed.

"Oh, sh*t! I didn't inform mom and dad that Qian'er has returned."

Yuan Meng face palmed herself.

"Yesterday, I wanted to tell them, but there was no proper time. I also fell unconscious."

She tried to fish out her phone from her pocket, and suddenly something came to her mind, and she stopped.

"It would be better to go there rather than to tell them about his return over the phone. I can't tell them such a good thing on the phone."

"Yes, we must go to the town. They might really get happy after seeing him again. They had lost all hope for years, and it might make them feel better."

Yuan Meng smiled as she thought it thoroughly. Her eyes were filled with happiness, and she almost had tears of joy coming out of them.

"Yes, they will really be happy after seeing him. They are his parents after all. If not for supporting Qiqi and me, they might have even left everything and still would be drowning in sorrow for losing Qian'er."

Yuan Meng bit her lips as her body trembled as she thought of how much her mother and father-in-law controlled themselves not to throw themselves off when they heard that Ye Qian had been missing for a long time. They still held up and didn't drown as they said.

"What, I have a daughter-in-law, and a granddaughter might soon come to our house. We must prepare for her. She must go to a good school and learn properly."

That was what Ye Qian's mother said after she heard that there was no information about Ye Qian being alive or dead.

"Mom, don't worry, I will bring Qian'er back to you soon. Our Little Family will once again be complete."

Yuan Meng said with determination as she glanced at the sky once again.

__________

Soon the last bell for the classes rang, and the teachers started going to the staffroom to make the daily reports and do other end-of-day necessities.

Yuan Meng also started walking toward the staff room as she had some answer sheets to check.

"I shouldn't use my holidays while working, I must spend time with Qiqi and Qian'er now more often, or the father-daughter pair might think I don't love them."

"And Qiqi would like her 'Papa' even more than me."

Yuan Meng thought as she smiled.

Little Qiqi has always been good, but it didn't mean that she, as her mother, didn't know that she was trying to hide things from her.

Yuan Meng always wanted to spend most of her holidays with Little Qiqi, but now the exams were going on, so the time she could give to Little Qiqi was getting less than before.

"Till Qian'er gets a nice job somewhere, I will need to work hard. Then I will do some everyday work which might give me more time to spend with them."

She entered the school building and started walking toward the staff room.

That was when she received various stares from the Vice-director and other male teachers.

She didn't want to argue with them as she had a lot of work, so she just growled at them and entered the staff room.

It had not been more than ten minutes since she started checking the answer sheets when Mr. Yang came to disturb her.

She was already annoyed but seeing him, she became angry.

He was deliberately trying to piss her off so that she might make some wrong move when she suddenly looked around and nodded.

She knew that because of the changes, no one could recognize her.

But that did not mean that she didn't know them well.

"Hey, what is there to know about you? You are new here, so you must know the rules and regulations which we have here."

Mr. Yang scoffed as he stood up.

Yuan Meng looked at him and shook her head.

She smiled at him as if she was looking at a fool.

While Miss Ning, who was watching all the drama unfold, scoffed.

'You idiot, you really pissed her off this time. Can't you see she is already annoyed at everyone here?'

Miss Ning smiled at Yuan Meng and nodded.

Yuan Meng turned at Mr. Yang and demanded.

"Then do you mean to say that I can't sit at my own desk, Mr. Yang?"

"What are you saying? I said you are not allowed to sit at Miss Yuan  Meng's seat even if she is absent. Or should I complain about you to the management?"

"Girl, you don't know this, but I have been working here for seven years. It's best that you obey the rules here. I also know other methods to handle the new people here."

"Ohh, if that is what you want, call the management. I am right here."

Yuan Meng finally threw caution to the air and scoffed.

She didn't need to do work here now. Her husband was back, they could do some odd jobs, and they might still be able to afford to live for a few months till Little Qiqi's academic year ended.

Besides, she believed in Ye Qian and knew he would also support her decision.

If needed, they would just sell the house and stay at rent for a few months.

She would take the same job in the supermarket as she did before, it was not a problem for her now.
