10 Dream Come True

Yuan Meng glanced at Ye Qian through the corner of her eyes as Jiao spoke.

She was stunned to hear something like that from Jiao and that too, in front of Ye Qian.

As she glanced at Ye Qian, he seemed to have noticed her and smiled, while giving an 'It's alright' look.

Yuan Meng calmed knowing that he was not displeased by the situation and turned to Jiao.

"Umm, how should I say it?"

Yuan Meng felt flustered as her cheeks turned red, thinking of how and what should she say.

"Hehe, look, Sister Meng, your face has turned red like a tomato; should I bring a mirror to show how much you are blushing?"

Jiao snickered as she teased Yuan Meng.

"You cheeky grumpy girl, let me introduce you."

Yuan Meng said while suppressing her blush.

"He is Ye Qian, Qiqi's father and my husband."

She said with a glistening yet gentle smile.

Jiao, who was in a teasing mood just then suddenly had a change in expression, as a furious look took over her face and turned to Ye Qian.

"Oh, so you are Ye Qian?"

"I almost didn't recognise that name, so you have returned?"

Jiao's voice was hash filled with disgust.

"Jiao, don't say that, there might have been something wrong."

Yuan Meng tried to calm Jiao.

Jiao turned to Yuan Meng and said angrily.

"What something might have been wrong, huh?"

"He didn't even call you within these 5 years and you right away forgave him for leaving you and the little girl alone."

"It was good that your father and mother-in-law were there for taking care of you two or how might you guys have survived in all this."

"I know how people have been trying to take advantage of you in disguise of helping you."

Jiao spat without considering that she was making Yuan Meng feel sad by making her remember all of that.

"Jiao don't say it!"

Yuan Meng had started to feel uneasy in her heart hearing Jiao.

Meanwhile, Jiao turned toward Ye Qian.

"Do you know how much she suffered these 5 years?"

"She even did house chores before, she somehow joined the high school as I helped her but there too some annoying b@stards can't help but try taking advantage of her."

She almost spitted while saying that.

"Did you know how she used to feed the little girl while she went to work?"

"Ahh, how would you?"

Jiao pointed a finger at Ye Qian and spat.

"What were you doing all these years, not even able to make a simple call?"

"Everybody thought you were dead, but Sister Meng used to say you have promised to be with the little girl, so you will come back."

Ye Qian felt a lump rising in his throat as he heard how much Yuan Meng suffered while he was not here.

He also felt his heart burning and his blood started to boil as he felt angry at himself as well.

"Jiao, let it be now, he has returned; there is nothing good that I can ask for."

Yuan Meng said as she wiped her tears and turned her back to Ye Qian.

"I am sorry. I...."

Ye Qian kneeled on the ground.

Yuan Meng ran to him while seeing him kneel to relent.

Jiao was also shocked seeing him kneel; to her, no man would kneel like this, she didn't know what to say anymore.

Yuan Meng said while she hugged Ye Qian.

"What matters now is that you are with us and let the things of the past go."

"Hmm"

Ye Qian nodded as he placed his lips on her head.

Yuan Meng felt her heartbeat speeding up as Ye Qian hugged her.

Jiao also calmed seeing Yuan Meng had let go of her past and was trying to live happily now.

"Big Sister!"

Little Qiqi came running at Jiao as she called out.

"Oh, Qiqi what were you doing?"

Jiao asked as Little Qiqi clung to her.

"Hehe, I was doing my homework."

Little Qiqi answered as she lifted her head with a bright smile.

"Alright, Big Sister brought you some Sweet and Sour ribs today. Would you eat them?"

Jiao patted Little Qiqi's head.

"Yes, yes, Big Sister, Qiqi is very happy today; you know Qiqi's papa also came today."

"Papa will always stay with Qiqi and Mumma now. Hehe"

Little Qiqi smiled while looking around to find her Papa.

"Um... Mumma, Papa what are you doing?"

Finally finding Ye Qian and Yuan Meng hugging each other Little Qiqi asked with raised brows.

Upon hearing Little Qiqi's question, Yuan Meng staggered and left Ye Qian's embrace and stood straight like a cat whose tail was stepped upon.

Her face was crimson, as she was flustered.

She stuttered while speaking.

"Umm, I...I"

Jiao eased the situation by saying.

"Little Qiqi didn't you give me a hug when you saw me, they are doing the same after meeting after a long time."

"Ohh. Qiqi was happy seeing Big Sister."

Little Qiqi gazed at her and smiled.

"Yes, your Papa and Mumma are also happy after seeing each other after a long time."

Jiao continued while patting Little Qiqi's head.

"Ohh, then Qiqi will also hug Mumma and Papa!"

Saying that Little Qiqi left Jiao and ran toward Yuan Meng and Ye Qian.

Ye Qian caught her while lifted her up and hug her while carrying her in his left hand while embracing Yuan Meng with his right.

Yuan Meng's cheeks flushed as she thought.

'How many times did I dream of this happening, I can't believe if he's back in real or I am just dreaming again.'

'Even if it's a dream, I want to sleep forever.'

While being in their own small little family world, Ye Qian, Yuan Meng and Little Qiqi completely forgot that Jiao was also there.

"Ahem ahem ...."

Jiao cleared her throat after being completely disregarded by the small family as non-existent.

"Well, if you are done giving bear hugs to each other."

"Or if you want me to join as well, I can give a hand or two right away since I am also happy for Qiqi."

She snickered.

Yuan Meng blushed and she looked down, it seemed as if her life depended on it.

Jiao continued to tease.

"Does Big Sister also wants a hug? Come here Big Sister, Mumma Papa and Qiqi will give you a big huggie!"

Not understanding her teasing Little Qiqi innocently asked while extending both of her hands from Ye Qian's neck towards Jiao.

"Um... that's not what I meant Qiqi; I was saying whether you have finished with your 'Happy Little Family Reunion', if you have then the food that, I, your Big Sister have brought for you might turn cold."

Jiao smiled awkwardly, scratching her nose.

"Papa, Mumma, we should eat quickly otherwise the Sweet and Sour Ribs wouldn't taste good."

Little Qiqi exclaimed in worry.

Meanwhile, as Ye Qian, Yuan Meng Little Qiqi and Jiao were about to leave for eating their Sweet and Sour Ribs.

In a business district in Star City.

At a 40-storey building surrounded by some really well-maintained garden.

The people who were not from Star City would be shocked to see such a building surrounded by so much land which was not developed; since the prices of the property in Star City were a little too expensive.

The building was owned by the Biggest Construction Company in Star City, Long Constructions.

On the 38th floor of the building; a man in his mid-30s sat on a Vitra armchair holding a Cigar in his right hand, wearing a top brand Reiss suit.

While he tried to ignite the cigar he glared at a few men who were standing in front of him with their heads down.

"PUFF PUFF"

He puffed a few times and tried to keep the smoke in his lungs while removing the cigar from his mouth and asked.

"So you weren't able to force her into submitting the property this time as well?"

The man asked, squinting his eyes at the guy who seemed to be high ranking among them,

"Yes.. yes, Chief Long."

The person replied while still keeping his head low.

He was shivering in fright.

If Yuan Meng or Ye Qian were here, they might have noticed the person was Mr Su; the one who tried to threaten Yuan Meng into selling the house.

He seemed to be like a small puppy in front of a hound dog.

"And you were even beaten by her; I didn't expect her to be a martial artist though!"

Chief Long asked with his eyebrows raised.

"No, Chief it wasn't the woman who beat us, it was her husband."

"He seemed to be trained in the military though he looks skinny."

Mr Su stuttered.

"Oh, a husband when did she get married."

Mr Su didn't see it but as Chief Long said, a cold glint flashed in his eyes.

"No Chief, he is her husband who seemed to be returned to her after these years."

Noticing the chillness in Chief Long's tone, Mr Su answered immediately.

"Oh her husband is back?"

As Chief Long wondered, the chillness in his tone grew intensely.

"Yes, Chief. He said to both the woman and little girl that he will be always with them."

Mr Su nodded with fear.

"Oh, it's going to be interesting!"

'Meng, I wanted to marry you when I proposed 3 years ago, but you rejected me saying you were married and had a daughter.'

'But after finding that your husband was missing so I tried again but you still refused.'

'I am trying everything from pleasing to forcing you but still, why do you reject me. I even helped you in getting the job at the High School. Is this how it's going to be?'

'I will kill that bastard for trying to take you away. And then come to you; you will have to yield while I put a gun on the head of that little daughter of yours. Huh, let's see even then will you surrender or not?'

As Chief Long thought of these things Mr Su and others didn't even try to breathe heavily fearing that their Chief Long might get angry at them.

Chief Long made a few more puffs of smoke and said to them with a devious glint.

"Get all the information about that man within a week, everything related to him must be on my table by next Wednesday."

"What he used to do before he went missing; when that woman and he met and their relation from then on. If there is even the slightest mistake, I won't guarantee your life."

"Yes, Chief Long!"

Saying that Mr Su and his beaten-up guards left the office in quick steps.

Meanwhile, Chief Long stood up from his chair and gazed in the direction where Ye Qian's house was.

"Humph, so what if you have returned; it won't take me time for making you leave the world forever. Then I will make Meng marry me."

"I have loved her since the first time I saw her at the supermarket."

He began reminiscing as he continued.

"How could you deserve her after leaving her for so long all alone?"
