2 The Beginning of Everything

September First, 2018, Beautiful Sunny, Kensen City

It has been six days since the school opening ceremony. Because of my congenital heart disease, I didn't attend it. Until today I am allowed to go to school. The summer sun has not gone away in Kensen. It shines on me to arouse the all-day energy.

At 7:30 am, at home

I get up early and it only takes me five minutes to finish the wash. I take a loaf of bread I made last night and hurry to school with my schoolbag.

I really can't wait to see my new teachers and classmates. The new beginning is always exciting. And I swear I won't let what happened in the past ever happen to me again. It was a story that wasn't very friendly to me.

Before closing the door, I say goodbye to the picture on the table, which is my parents in. They passed away at my age of ten. At that age, I even didn't know what death means and they would never tell me the answer. They just gave me the endless silence and the despairs of living alone. Fortunately, their legacy is enough for me to finish school. However, unfortunate things are always one by one. I was diagnosed with congenital heart disease and I need to buy medicine to sustain my life. As a result, I'm running out of money at my age of sixteen. And more importantly, I just finished the sixteenth birthday, which means I am making great strides toward the way of death. NO MONEY is also the reason why I made bread myself. It's really cheaper than buy it at the supermarket.

At 7:35 am, on the way to school

I am eating bread while tidying my slightly wrinkled sky-blue shirt.

Maybe it is I paid much attention to it that I run into someone. My head is in close contact with his pectoral muscle. What's more, I even could smell his body odor. It doesn't smell bad. On the contrary, I smell the scent of shower gel, orange, a little sweet. I guess he just finished his morning run and then showered. Suddenly I sense it was quite impolite. Without hesitation, I apologize to him and run in the direction of the school. I dare not look up at him directly but run in haste. Because I imagine that once I look up and saw his face, only one expression would appear on my tender, sixteen-year-old face, I call it "Swoon".

I think that's our first meet, although he never admits it in the future.

At 8:00 am, at school

I make it to school with peace of mind at 8:00 am.

However, I spent five minutes walking and the remaining twenty minutes were spent to calm me down. It is so ashamed that I... Hmmm,~~~I don't want to talk about it anymore.

The good news is that he walked in the opposite direction to me. And I'm greatly convinced that We'll NEVER Meet Anymore.

Also because of my sickness, I am allowed not to take part in morning exercises.

Sitting in my seat, I'm looking forward to the arrival of my deskmate.

Who is he or she?

What's his or her name?

Tall or short?

Everything is unknown.

And at 8:15, in the Classroom, I smell a faint smell of orange coming towards me.

Probably, he or she is my deskmate. But, why is this Orange so familiar? The same sense as before is evoked by the same smell. My face gradually turns the same red. But this time the only feeling I have is embarrassed. I raise my head and just see a man or a boy is coming to me closer. So familiar,so embarrassing!

MY GOD!

Emergency,Emergency,Emergency

The important thing is to say it three times!

THE ENEMY IS COMING SOON!

PLEASE BE READY FOR THE BATTLE.

NOW, at 8:15 am

He stands in front of me, baggy white shirt, black shorts, skin everywhere. The collarbone peeped out from the collar.

He is him? I'm not sure. Curiosity drives me to ask.

Unanticipated, more like a coincidence of years of rehearsal.

We say in the union, "You are..."
