9 Chapter 7

I don't know how that night ended, the only thing I remembered is Renzo's words and all their teasing. The next day I don't feel like going out 'cause I know that my cousins will just tease me but since it's our last day here on the Island I decided to have fun with them.
"Kiana, wear your swimsuit," Audrey ordered.
"Nah, I don't want to," I said in a tiny voice.
"You brought it here and now you're telling me that you're not going to wear it?" Audrey said.
I know that she won't stop pestering me so I just wore my swimsuit to stop her from being so annoying. I wore the white high-waisted two-piece swimsuit. I put my cover-up to cover some part of my body.
When we went outside all I want to do is good back inside our room.
I saw our friends playing volleyball near the sea.
"What is that Albert? Why didn't you catch the ball?! Maybe that's the reason why your crush didn't catch you either." Brent told Albert.
Gosh, they're bullying each other again.
They seemed to notice our appearance cause their eyes darted at me.
"Here is Kiana. Make way, make way. Kiana, it's time you knew the village of Motu Nui is all you need." Kuya Lloyd sang the song from the movie of 'Moana'.
My head creased, is he crazy or what?
I took a glance at Renzo and I noticed that his ears are red. He's also looking at my direction. I slowly walk towards him.
"Are you okay? Your ears are red, do you have a fever?" I asked him.
Maybe he caught cold last night.
"I-I'm fine, okay. It's just got here." He said.
"You sure? We can leave first and go to the hospital." I said.
"Hey, Lauriz, I'm fine. You don't have to worry about me. Let's just enjoy our last day here." He said.
I nodded and sat beside him. I opened my Facebook account and I saw our pictures yesterday posted by my cousins but Renzo's post captured my attention. Babies...
That was the caption. It's our photo with my nephew. He was kissing my forehead in that picture. I faced him and he's also looking at me.
"Uhm, we look cute in that picture." He explained.
I smiled at him.
"Yeah, it's cute," I said.
He was stunned for a moment before going back to his senses.
"Let's go somewhere?" I asked him.
"Huh, where are we going?" He asked.
"I saw some souvenir shops out there. Let's buy souvenirs." I said.
"Let's go!" He exclaimed.
As we are walking some girls are trying to flirt with Renzo. And Renzo seemed to be happy with the attention he's getting.
Asshole.
"You're such a flirt!" I told him.
"What are you talking about? You're the only girl I'm flirting with." He said while smirking.
I rolled my eyes at him.
"Jealous, aren't we?" He asked sarcastically.
"I'm not jealous, stupid!" I shouted at him.
I walked past him and stopped at a bracelet shop.
"Oh, Ma'am! My husband and I made those bracelets." The old lady said.
It's just a simple bracelet with a cross sign in the middle and the beads are made of wood.
"All right, miss. I'll take it." I told the old lady.
I also bought keychains and T-shirts for my grandparents.
"Where have you been?" I asked Renzo.
"I just went somewhere." He said while catching his breath.
Why is he panting? Did he run?
"Let's go back?" He asked.
I just nodded at him.
When we returned they're already swimming in the sea. Audrey and Brent are splashing water on each other.
"Hey, you two, where have you been? Did you go on a date?" Brent shouted.
Renzo raised his middle finger.
"Fuck you!" He shouted.
They just laughed because of what Renzo did.
"Kiana, come here. Take that off!" Audrey shouted.
I took off my cover-up and started walking to the sea.
"What a body! You're so hot! Gosh, I almost forgot that I'm a girl." Audrey said laughing.
I can feel Renzo's eyes staring at me. This is so embarrassing!
"Sexy chic!" Brent shouted, and he was almost hit by Renzo's flying slippers.
We spent a few hours in the sea before going back to our rooms so we could pack our clothes and go back home.
"Let's come back here," Brent said.
We went up the boat and the tiredness is visible on our faces cause we weren't able to take a rest before going home.
"Sleep first," Renzo whispered in my ears.
I nodded at him and leaned my head on his chest.
After a few moments, I felt someone tapping my cheeks gently.
"Hey, wake up. We're here." Renzo whispered.
It's only me and Renzo who's left inside the boat so we hurried going out.
"I will sleep all-day when I get home," Audrey said.
"Oh, sure. Don't even wake up." Brent said jokingly.
Audrey glared at him.
Renzo didn't speak while we are in the car, he looks so tired yet he's still driving for us.
"Hey, take a rest when you get home," I told Renzo.
"Yeah, of course, I will. You should take a rest too. It's been a long day for all of us." He said.
Audrey reached their house first and before she went out of the car she teased Brent first.
Gosh, they're acting like a kid. They're both hot-headed. They might kill each other.
Renzo started driving again. Brent and Kuya Lloyd are sleeping at the back.
"Hey, did you enjoy our vacation?" I asked Renzo.
"Of course I did. I had a lot of fun with your family." He said.
"Well, then that's good to hear," I said.
After a few minutes, we finally reached our house. Kuya Lloyd went inside our house first. I told him that I'm just going to follow him 'cause I still have something to give to Renzo.
"Go inside," Renzo said.
"Give me your hand first," I said.
He gave me his right hand and I simply slid on his wrist the bracelet I bought on the Island.
He was surprised when he saw it.
"Take care of that, ok?" I said.
"Of course, I will! Thank you, Lauriz!" He said with a wide smile on his face.
"All right, then go home and take a rest," I said.
"Wait, can you give me a hug?" He asked.
I hugged him and he kissed my forehead before going inside his car.
"Bye!" I shouted before going inside our house.
