6 Chapter 5

I just nodded at him and he immediately wrapped his arms around me, and because he's taller than me he needed to bend a little so that I can reach him.

"Thank you, Lauriz." He said.

"All right, get in your car and go home. Be careful on the road." I reminded him. "Good night," I added.

"Good night and sleep well." He said before entering his car.

I went inside the house and I found Ate May in the kitchen.

"What's with the hug?" She teased.

I just laughed at her before entering my room. Are May have a boyfriend but they're in a long-distance relationship. Both of them are faithful to each other.

I took a bath before going to sleep. I also removed my make up from my face. I don't know why, but the smile on my face doesn't fade. I won't forget this day.

Days, weeks, and months passed.

Today is the first day of our Christmas break. We are here at Audreys house. She's alone 'cause her family went on vacation earlier and she doesn't want to go with them.

Renzo, Brent, Audrey, and I have been together for a long time. We eat together every lunch. The set up is still the same. Apart from the fact that Camille is always seeking Renzo's attention. There's nothing completely new with that. Renzo also goes with me more often.

Today we're talking about where we will spend our weekend.

"Tomorrow, my cousins will go to Higatangan Island. What if we'll just go with them?" I asked

My cousins want to go to the beach as well, my Uncles and Aunts are also with them so it will be fun.

"Yes, indeed! It's just a boat ride from here. You two will enjoy it for sure." Audrey said.

"Okay, that's it. I also want to try drowning Audrey." Brent said.

"I've been drowning in you for a long time," Audrey said.

"You're so weak, Audrey! Audrey, I love you even if you're crazy." Brent fired back.

The four of us just laughed because of what we were doing.

"We're all set for tomorrow. Let's just meet at Kiana's house." Renzo said.

After that acquaintance party, Renzo and Brent became our friends. We are always together during school events, as well as during the fiesta here in our province. We attended the Tsinelas party together and I'm glad that they're enjoying their stay here in our province.

I went home early so that I can prepare the things that I will bring tomorrow. I won't bring too many things, just some important things.

The next day when I went out of my room, I immediately saw Renzo and Brent joking around with my cousins. Sometimes I wonder if I'm their cousin 'cause they were close with each other.

"Shut up, Brent!" My cousin Lloyd shouted at Brent, he's getting pissed now.

"Fuck you!" Brent yelled.

"Opps, calm down, you two don't have to argue 'cause you're both ugly," Reno said and before the two of them talk Renzo spoke again. "To be fair let's just ask ". Who do you think is the most handsome here?" Renzo asked me.

Before I can answer him Audrey appeared in front of us.

"Good morning, everyone! Hey, you three when are you going to stop arguing?" Audrey shouted at them.

Suddenly the three of them went silent.

"Are we fighting?" Brent asked innocently at Renzo and Lloyd.

"No, we're not? Let's go and buy some soft drinks." Renzo said.

Audrey just rolled her eyes.

Moments later the boat we rented arrived.

Renzo helped me up the boat and I almost fell.

Oh, I almost fell for Renzo. Lol.

"What is up, guys! Today we're going to Hitagangan Island." Brent said while holding his camera.

"Stupid! It's Higatangan, not Hitagangan." Audrey shouted at Brent.

"You two are so noisy," Reno said while placing his head on my shoulder.

Brent pointed his camera at us.

"The fuck! You're such a flirt, men! Hey, Lloyd, what can you say about Renzo flirting with Kiana?" Brent asked my cousin Lloyd.

"All I can say is," Kuya Lloyd raised his middle finger at Renzo. "Fuck you! My cousin doesn't like Chinese people. You're conquerors and exploiters!" Kuya Lloyd yelled at Renzo.

Even my Uncles and Aunts laughed because of what we were doing. We just talked and laughed until we arrived at the island.

"Wow, is this a sand?" Brent said as he touched the white sand.

"Stupid! that's white sugar." Renzo joked

"Guys, let's take a picture!" Ate May said.

I was carrying my niece while Renzo is beside me. We are in the middle. Brent and Audrey are standing next to Renzo. Ate May and Kuya Lloyd are standing beside me. My three other cousins were sitting in front of us. My Uncles and Aunts are standing behind us.

Renzo put his arms around me and I was surprised.

"Ma'am, family picture! The three of you." The staff shouted and pointed at me and Renzo.

"That is right! You should take a good shot for their family picture." Audrey teased.

"C'mon, wife. We are going to have our very first family picture. Are you ready?" Reno whispered to my ears.

The first picture is his hand is wrapped around my waist while I'm carrying my nephew. The second one is he's the one carrying my nephew. The third picture is he's still the one carrying my nephew but I was shocked when he kissed my forehead. My breathing hitched when he did that.

I heard my cousins screaming and teasing us after that.

The photographer gave us two copies of each picture. Renzo put the third picture at the back of his phone.

Renzo was about to pay for the pictures but the staff refused to accept it.

"You don't need to pay, sir. It's for free. Just promise that you will take good care of your wife and your child." The staff said sadly. "Because I was not able to do that to my wife and my child." He added before walking away.

Renzo and I stared at each other, he suddenly smiled at me.

"I will take good care of you," Renzo said and it made my heart beat so fast.

What is he doing to me?!

I'm doomed.
