"Kiana. Let's end this I don't want to be with you anymore. I don't love you anymore.." He said without blinking an eye. Like he didn't love me at all.

"A-Are you joking? Do we have a problem?" I asked nervously.

He looks at me with cold eyes.

"Do you think I'm joking? I'm not joking, Kiana. I'm fucking serious! Let's stop this shit!" He said firmly.

I held his hands but he just throws it away. I touched my stomach.

"I-I'm pregnant, My love. You're gonna be a father." I said trying to get him back to his senses.

He laughed painfully.

"You can't fool me anymore, woman! I will not father that child! That isn't mine!" He shouted.

A tear fell from my eye. His words are like a knife to me.

"W-What are you saying? You're the father of this child!" I said trying to calm myself.

My knees are starting to get weak.

"Why don't you tell that to your man?" He said.

I tried so hard to stifle my sobs.

"Are you saying that I cheated on you?! You're the only man I loved, Renzo! I-I can't understand, please make me understand..." I can't recognize my voice anymore.

"Now you're the one who can't understand?! Ok, then. Let's make it clear for you to understand.." He said harshly.

My lips are trembling.

"I don't want to see you anymore. Now, do you understand?"

I knelt to the ground. I faced him with tears on my face.

"My love, I'll do better. Just please don't leave us. Tell me that you're just joking."

"Wipe your tears, woman. I'm not gonna give in to you again. You cheated... I won't believe you anymore. So stand up and wipe your tears, 'cause this time I'm not gonna wipe your tears anymore." A tear fell from his eye as he said those hurtful words to me.

I can't stop my sobs anymore. Tears are falling continuously on my eyes.

"I hope that this will be the last time we see each other. It's nice having you in my life, Kiana. I hope you'll be happy." He wiped his tears and started to walk away from me.

It hurts seeing him walk away from me just like that. Maybe someday he'll understand what I'm saying. I hope when that time comes, he'll try to hear me out. But for now, I'll just also wish for him to be happy even without me. I'll just watch him reach his dreams from afar.

"I love you, My love. Until we meet again." I whispered through the air.

This author has done an amazing job..kudos... The synopsis is so brief and on point and the prologue drive it all home. I was trapped and have to keep reading, as each word I reads keep me glue to read even more. The uniqueness of the prologue lights up the whole story with much emotions, unanticipated break up, accusations.. Could Renz be true and Kiana actually a cheat? I need to find out by reading more... It is an interesting story tho a few scenes may seem cliché. I am waiting for the next scenes that might hook me to the story. I just suggest that the author will put more detail so I can feel what the character is feeling. But in general, this is a good story to read especially when you are fond of reading romance novels that will make your heart feel at ease for a while.

Solid beginning. I read a few chapters and while romance is not truly my thing, you made this story an easy read, with humor sprinkled in amongst the more serious interpersonal things. I don't know why, but your characters are easy to like. You have a very promising style and I am glad to see so many people have realized what a fun and addictive read this is. Keep going.

What struck me the most about the story was how accurate to the real world the author made this. Some parts were a bit extreme, but overall, this is a pretty solid story. Nice work!

That first chapter hit hard! Was not expecting to feel things so soon. Poor Kiana .-. It's a great story so far. I'm definitely invested, I want to see if Kiana finds happiness D'X The characters work well together, unlike in a lot of books I've read, they actually seem to have good dialog. The story flows well too. I can't wait to see what happens next.
