Threat

As it seemed, at the last moment, the approaching storm changed its mind and the sun was back at its job and just like that, the whole world was drenched in a pale diffused sunlight, making the world bask with serne warmth,

Wild flowers were swaying gently with the wind, reflecting sunlight off their drenched petals and the muddy road had puddles which reflected the haven of clouds above, the water shimmered like a sheet of prisitne crystal, it was as if, the nature was demonstrating an exclusive and extremely beautiful show of beauty and aesthetics for the little human

But Isra didn't care about such shenanigans, no, her eyes were struck somewhere else, right accross the fields, she had spotted a single odd looking cloud, a tiny pillow of pristine white among pink and velvety flowers,

Like an old and experienced predator, her pupils were narrowing, observing its every move, after all, she had never seen one so close to the earth before.

Carefully, she positioned herself behind a small veil of flowers but stepped on a broken twig, making a crackling sound.

Upon this the cloud comically turned and looked around frantically, Isra stayed calm and calculated, the precision she was showing was that of an experienced hunter.

Not taking any chances, the cloud decided to ditch the flowers and rise up, abandon the field altogether as any sane creature would do.

"Oh no" said little Isra, as she hurriedly pulled the strap of her drenched bag over her uniform, and rushed out of her cover, this action was all that it took for the cloud to frantically ascend before it would be captured.

But Isra ran like wind itself, sprinting accross the field, her eyes were brimming with madness and with each step her grin was growing more malicious.

In a few seconds, she was upon the fluffy cloud,

"Oh no, I'm not letting you go," she said, before the cloud could react. She jumped over and grabbed it between her hands.

Making the cloud rain a bit upon the flowers below in an embarassing gesture.

Then the inexplicable happened, the cloud spoke.

"What are you doing, you little devil?"

But Isra was too ravaged by her primal instincts, as she bit into it, tearing away a chunk of fluff. It wasn't that she always wanted to befriend a cloud or anything nobel and cute like that, she drooled over them, they reminded her of desserts and snacks.

"Ah, save me... This lunatic will eat me," the cloud screamed for its life, already missing a huge chunk from its left side, it wiggled in her grip, but to no avail. She took another big inhumane bite. At this pace, the cloud would be no more in only two seconds.

It became desperate and... meowed?!

"What?" Isra's maniacal face changed to a purely innocent chubby face as she stared at the cloud in pure wonder.

"What?" the cloud said,

"You just meowed."

"No, I did not."

"Yes, you did."

"So what if I did?"

"Clouds meow all the time." The last sentence caught them both off guard, Isra in surprise and the cloud in awkwardness, there was a silence of a few seconds between both, even the flowers that surrounded them had awkwardly stopped rustling.

She was about to hold onto him tighter, and just before the whole charade would start again, the cloud disappeared from her grip.

Soon after, a voice came from where it was between her hands. "You're one feral child, you know that, right? Don't tell anyone about it or you'll be gone forever."

The cloud threatened her
