54 Silver leaf

Olaf shook my hand with a firm grip "Thank you brother. "

Despite all the mumbo jumbo "feelings" and stuff, we still had a dungeon to clear and my own revenge to achieve.

The plan for the boss was simple and should be very effective, but also involved some testing.

We used a few elemental transfusion scrolls to change the remaining three blizzard scrolls to firestorm. Blizzard against the Flame Lord was not as effective as firestorm would be to the Wind lords. One firestorm scroll had brought them down to 8k health before, so two scrolls should be sufficient.

The plan was to try and use a copy scroll on the firestorm scroll, if it worked we would save two of the valuable AOE spells.

I would attack the lone boss until he summoned the other two. Olaf would then activate firestorm while Tide tried to copy it.

Tide cast active camouflage on me and we summoned the boss. Seconds later the boss appeared in a flurry of rushing wind. I approached him and activated rapid strikes.

Hit! Critical Hit!Hit!Critical Hit! Hit!

Extremely effective! (fire🔥)

You have dealt 8350 damage! (21650/30000hp||72%)

Runes lit up on the ground and two more Level 10 Wind lords appeared in an explosion of Wind that shook the room.

I sprinted away from the boss as fast I could while Olaf and Tide activated their scrolls. Olaf's firestorm shot out of the scroll and slammed into the damaged wind lord. To my surprise the copy scroll worked and Tide used firestorm as well.

The ball began to grow as a second orb joined it, becaming a swirling storm of blazing fire. The air from the wind elementals only caused the storm to intensify.

Hell yeah, another rank 2 longsword and an awesome trinket. Maybe dying wasn't so bad after all.

I heard the grinding of gears and the pedestal began to rise from the center of the rune. We inspected it and sure enough it had a keyhole like the first floor pedestal. I took out the large silver key and with a click the hieroglyph(copy) popped off.

Tide ran around clutching the ancient relic with one hand while he punched the air with the other. "Sooo Awesome!!"

Olaf and I shared a glance and shook our heads, smiling. It was enjoyable to have someone like him around, who could be happy over the most menial of things.

The pedestal dropped back down and the door opened in the wall, revealing the stairwell to the next floor.

We moved on and the door shut behind us. We were once again on the third floor, standing before the four types of elemental.

Our strategy would be different this time around, mostly due to the over powered effect of the "Kings gem". I had witnessed the effects of the ruby amulet with my own eyes and decided to use it for our benefit. The amulet had unlimited charges, and would automatically activate if Olaf were to take any kind of harm. This would make him momentarily ethereal, with nothing able to hurt him including spells and physical damage.

Olaf's broadsword was already enchanted with fire so he would take on the wind elemental since he couldn't take damage.

I used an elemental transfusion spell on my rank 2 wind lord blade that was currently fire, and changed it to ice.

With two rank 2 weapons I should be able to instantly take out the earth elemental and fire elemental with one use of rapid strikes.

This left the ice elemental, which Tide would take on. He changed one golem into ice, while making the other two earth.

My predictions were correct, leading to us easily crushing the elementals.

Gained 1200 experience!( 292,195/400,000)

With the prince's aura and the wind lord's helm, Tides' golems began to deal a lot more damage. The prince and the golems killed their elementals at around the same time.

Once the strategy was established we quickly began to clear the floor with confidence.

Tide had become talented at his timing to create soulstones, having created over 50 since the first floor.

An hour later we had killed all of the elementals on the floor, with zero difficulty.

Ding!

You have slain x14 flame elemental, x14 ice elemental, x14 wind elemental, x14 earth elemental! Gained 16,800 experience! (308,995/400,000)

As we cleared we discussed various strategies we could use on the boss.

The first threat, in my opinion was the ice arm. We needed to find a way to shut that down, the target lock spell was far to strong and difficult to avoid.

Tide came up with the idea of using the elemental transfusion spell on the ice shackle(copy) scroll, thinking that maybe an earth shackle would freeze the arm. It seemed like a good idea, plus we could use copy and and transfusion to make more shackles.

Then I had the bright idea of preparing all of this beforehand using some basic duping.

With three of us, it was easy.

I pulled out the shackle spell and as I used it they both used copy, giving us two instead of one. We did this with all of the spells that we had, including ressurect.

Once we had eight of the earth wall, flamespear, and ice shackle spells we used elemental transfusion to make two of each element. This made me realize that flame wall would do killer damage to the wind body and I convinced them to make a few more.

It was a shame to have such awesome weapons and be forced to rely so heavily on magic.

We nailed down the final details of our plan, and pressed the plate summoning the boss.

Finally! It was time for my revenge!
