25 Yeeting the poison

"I'm the most aware of how extremely toxic this poison is. It's a lost cause. The way to cleanse such a poison is definitely not immediate, especially considering your pitiful profound strength" Jasmine hopelessly answered, a dark shadow clouded her luminously sparking red eyes.

"Is that so. Well, it must have been tough living like a street bumpkin. There are some fine dresses in that room over there, do take the time to change your attire." Azazel smiled while guiding her gaze to the adjacent brightly lit room.

"that will be very helpful." Jasmine calmly spoke as she tiredly trotted to the room, closing the door while doing so.

Not even seconds after, chief sat up from his sleeping position on the couch and glared at Azazel disdainfully.

"what? you did not expect me to lie, did you? sorry I'm not so proficient at it." The boy defended himself, he did not even need to ask for he already knew what chief was glaring at him for.

"Spare me the excuses. You simply created the situation that induced her suspicion, thus leading to the need of explaining yourself. No matter, I already took precautions for this. Knowing your nature, this was within my calculations."

"chief, what exactly did you do?" Azazel widened his eyes, worry slowly seeping into his heart.

Chief's scarlet eyes flashed with a ruthless light, a demonic smile tugged the corners of his lips. "nothing much. I simply inserted a needle into her heart with inherent functions. If she were to ever speak of this matter to anyone aside from me or you, the needle will puncture her heart and she will die. "

" was that even necessary? why do you always have to be so ruthless? Threatening to kill someone all because of a small probability!" Azazel angrily retorted, his voice increasing without his control.

" Pitiful. You are but a 12-year-old kid who has yet to experience the world in its full capacity. Those who you hold dear could be used to hurt you. Those who you believe are the ally could end up becoming the enemy. Betrayal is a constantly reoccurring theme in the history of all major worlds. I'm simply protecting you from the worst. Besides, if you truly trust her so much then this is not a problem." chief indifferently answered the fuming youth. However, deep within his eyes, one can see a feeling of pain and sadness that threatened to spill out in the form of tears.

The invincible spirit, as if this way a routine task, buried those emotions deep within his heart and steeled himself to calmness once more.

Azazel did not notice it, he was too busy contemplating on what was just said until the door of the room opened, revealing jasmine who has changed into a red Bottle Bardot dip hem dress, snapping him from his thoughts.

"well look at you. Clothes do bring out the beauty in everyone doesn't it" he spoke playfully.

jasmine ignored his statement, straightening the hems of her robe as she peered at the door leading to the exit of the hotel room.

" Don't leave so soon madam. Make yourself at home, I was not kidding when I said that I may have a way to help" Azazel pointed at the seat opposite to his, pouring a cup of tea gracefully.

Jasmine looked at him indifferently, before shifting her gaze to the steaming tea laying in wait in front of her. It took but a single glance to figure out the quality of the tea. surprisingly, it was of high tier and smelled with an odor that she has never smelled before.

" what type of tea is this?" she asked in curiosity, her usually narrowed eyes widening in confusion.

"glad to have your interest once more." Azazel took a sip before continuing " this is Vintage Narcissus tea. Obviously not from this world, it costs quite a bit of cash where I come from. Nothing I can't afford though." he spoke pridefully, which was completely unfounded if you consider his act of wearing a bunny costume.

"Not bad. I like it. " She nodded in acknowledgment.

" glad to hear, There is always more if you want some. Anyways, back to the topic of the convo yes? I think there is a way to help you. The godly, most beautiful, and strongest man in existence chief can help you. " Azazel looked at chief with a pleading smile, much to the disgust of the spirit.

" stop kissing my behind, It's unbecoming." chief retorted, his face twisted in disdain.

" come on chief, surely you can help, right? You can use the absorption aspect of the needle to suck out the poison."

" Eh. My work is not free. What can she give me in return?" Chief nonchalantly looked at his nails, appearing indifferent about the request.

Jasmine decided to stay silent. The insulting remarks she about to spew were forcefully pushed down, much to her surprise. It seems like Azazel's statement about her personality is affecting her in ways even she cannot understand.

" I Promise to be fully dedicated to my training and will do whatever you say, even if it goes against my wishes." Azazel helplessly promised. So long as the princess can be cured, this HUUUUGE sacrifice is worth it.

" remember what you just said. I don't want you feigning memory loss in the future." chief mockingly spoke as he stood up from the couch and made his way to were jasmine was seated.

"now whatever you do. Don't move, and definitely, do not resist," he commanded

In one swift motion, a needle roughly 5 inches long materialized out of thin air. This needle, in particular, was completely different from Azazel's needle, as it had a bunch of runes and patterns that glowed with a lambent light.

Jasmine watched attentively at the needle penetrating her flesh and glowing ever so strongly. She could feel its power and suction force. It felt as if her intestine and organs were all been swallowed up.

" stop moving." Chief calmly reminded her. The originally scarlet needle slowly began turning dark, the runes themselves changing color. " I have to say. This poison is indeed frightening. Even a single needle is not enough." Chief seriously spoke, summoning another needle and commencing the same process once more.

30 minutes later, both needles were completely back and glowed with a sinister aura.

Much to her surprise, however, jasmine suddenly felt better than before. The nagging and painful feeling that assault her spiritual vessel was completely gone. That was not even the end of it. She could finally circulate her profound energy without being obstructed by the poison.

"Thank me later. Anyways, you still do not have a physical body and I can't help you with that." Chief yawned while storing the needles into his invisible inventory.

Azazel sighed. Well, he finally accomplished something positive, this feeling of satisfaction was so blissful.

"now remains the creation of a complete body for you. In due time, I will help you with that as well." he warmly spoke to the shocked princess.

" why? why are you helping me?" Jasmine could not understand why he was willing to help her. Even if he knew about her circumstances, it did not warrant all of this. They were technically strangers and surely he did not seem like the type to lust after her body

"why not?" Azazel cocked his head to the side.

The question left her speechless for she herself did not know how to answer it.
