8 LEAVING THE SCARLET DRAGON MOUNTAIN RANGE

Azazel exclaimed in surprise after seeing chief walk out of the cave safe and sound. As a matter of fact, there was not a single noise that hinted at an interaction between the spirit and the slumbering dragon.

The boy hastily stood up from the bushes that was covering his body to its entirety, and excitedly ran to meet Chief midway.

"How? That was so cool, teach me how to do it!" exclaimed the boy who could barely get a hold of his emotions.

Chief, again, gave no answer. Simply commanding him to keep quiet and follow closely, to which azazel sulkily obeyed.

The duo left the mountain through the back, there was a path way devoid of all towering trees and rocks, it led directly to the waterfall they were training in previously, and hopefully, it ensured that they will meet no beasts en route.

For about 10 minutes, silence shrouded the man and spirit, thought one of them could hardly wait to talk judging by the quivering of his mouth and the fidgeting of his hands.

After finally arriving at the waterfall once more, chief stopped moving and turned around, flickering 3 times before posing a question

" do you remember what I told you about the needle of catastrophe and its abilities?"

Azazel stood dumbfounded for a second before pridefully answering

"I do remember that there was the creation branch, teleportation, destruction, constriction and absorption branch"

The spirit hmmed in approval before shining with a luminous light, prompting the creation of a small needle roughly the size of an adult's index finger.

"Since you can't create the needle, I suppose it won't hurt to create it for you. Now watch carefully"

Immediately after, from the spiritual vessel of chief, the flaming sead of the evil god appeared once more, hovering in mid air as it released spiritual energy that was extremely thick when it comes to density. The needle slowly yet effectively injected itself inside of the seed, absorbing a mysterious purple energy that seemed rather contradictory if compared to the red energy of the evil god seed.

"This is the energy of the dragon. Upon awakening, if it does not sense this energy at its side, it would immediately go on a rampage and trace the energy back to the thief. Not that it would make much of a difference, the seed has a flame dragon inflammatory imprint on it that encases anyone in flames if they directly touch it. However, I'm intangible in nature, absorbing it inside of my being is no different that the seed receiving no physical contact."

Azazel could particularly feel the arrogance of the spirit slapping on to his face, not that he is not used to it by now.

" so what do we do with the needle?"

"Throw it of course. The dragon would try to trace the energy back to the seeds location, only to realize that the energy is not stored in the seed, but in the needle instead."

Azazel nodded in understanding, his eyes flickered with a devilish light as he watched the needle fall on the water, sinking into the lake and probably never seing the light of day again.

Without a moment to waste, the duo speedily left the scarlet dragon mountain range, this time however they were unfortunate enough to encounter beasts in the elementary realm that slowed down their escape momentarily. Albeit through the use of his innate mastery of profound energy control, azazel swiftly dispatched all of the beast surrounding them, using but a mere medium sized ball of energy to do so.

En route, azazel was wondering whether it was correct to steal the seed of the evil god. It seemed futile if one thinks about it, especially if the seed was stolen with the sole purpose of keeping it away from the clutches of Yun che. His profound veins will reverberate any and Every Time he comes within close proximity of the evil god seeds. Unless, of course, chief has some sort of method to insert the powers of the seeds inside of his body.- that will be truly marvelous.

A small smile appeared on the boy's face as they proceeded to the nearby City under the soothing rays of the moon.
