22 Can't make a title up. Mad work.

"A lot of things huh" Chief responded almost mockingly, his eyebrows raised as if he was saying" you think of yourself too highly"

"but I'm honest!" Azazel blurted out shamelessly. despite the interaction between him and jasmine lacking the vocalization of thoughts from both parties, he more or less could figure out her intentions without necessarily requiring the princess to say it. Being an entity of exalted status and power, there is absolutely no way she will be willing to watch a fight between a congregation of weaklings out of pure boredom, she had much more important matters at hand that hindered her from wasting any time. Furthermore, there is absolutely no way she could have developed feelings for Azazel simply because he donned a physical appearance that was certainly high tier. He was, at the end of the day, a weakling from the lowest empire of the lowest realm in the universe.

Azazel could naturally understand her thinking process. Back at the banquet, he intentionally exposed his innate understanding of Yun she's physiology and inheritance of the evil god profound veins. Not to mention, he made a subtle reference to jasmine by comparing her to a one-time use item with the pronoun of "she". These little crumbs could be used to create a bigger picture that highlighted Azazel as an outlier, for he was clearly aware of the entire relationship between Yun che and jasmine, in addition to the factors that perpetuated the relationship.

Knowing all of this, why would the princess make sure that Azazel noticed her? because if we are being honest, Jasmine can quite easily evade the senses of a true profound realm cultivator with but a thought. She most likely wanted to meet him in order to talk about something closely related to where his awareness stems from.

Azazel shrugged. Then again, there was the probability that he was overanalyzing things for reasons he did not quite understand yet. Or maybe the princess was testing him to see whether he will come to this conclusion. If that was the case, then he has it all figured out.

"chief, I want to go back to the xiao sect branch again today. I will make sure to blend in with the shadows at night. There is something I want to see for myself first."

"suit yourself" came the Lazy response. Chief was still engrossed inside of the book with arcane patterns that can barely be called words, not that Azazel cared about the contents, it just seemed weird to extremity.

With a slight push off the oversized bed, he landed cleanly on the moderately cold floor, turning around in order to look at himself in the mirror. His white hair was still the same, a large bang covered his right eye yet his hair seemed to be transparent because he could still nonetheless see the covered eye clearly. mmmmmmmm. I look good ah.

The boy flexed in attempts at showing his nonexistent muscles. If anything, he was further confirming how effeminate he actually was- much to the disgust of chief... not that he looked any better anyways.

3 hours flashed by rather quickly. Within the time frame, the hotel bed has been cleaned and the place looked as good as when the duo arrived a day ago. It will be one tragic moment if the owners were to come and see a room that was not paid for resembling as if people have been staying here for months. It never dawned to the duo that they currently had a lot of money as a result of the transaction that occurred in the store, and thus did not have to resort to teleporting to hotel rooms without paying, carelessness is a trait they both had in their arsenal.

Azazel tidied himself up, flashing a beautiful smile as he dusted the small particles of dirt off of his flashy red suit. Yes, a suit. Chief was bragging about how he could create a bunch of clothes and items that did not particularly originate from this world, so why not profit from this ability? he did not come here to assimilate, but to conquer!

The little boy nodded to himself complacently, as the manliest boy out there, he must show his sense of style.

" Alright, there is about 3 hours until I must head off, what should I do until then?" The boy asked to no one in particular.

" you do realize that you are merely going off a presumption right. I say you just want to act all cool and stuff to appease to the female counterpart. " chief spoke while burring himself inside the soft surface of the couch.

"not Quite my intention. I truly am wondering whether my hypothesis is valid. If so, I legitimately want to hear the princess's perspective on my knowledge. I find the revelation to be fascinating."

Chief rolled his eyes and buried himself even deeper into the couch. "suit yourself"

Azazel flashed one last smile at the mirror before his body disappeared from the hotel room.

Apparently chief placed a bunch of needles around the city through means he definitely could not comprehend, it only required the exertion of energy in order to active the teleportation. It will come in quite handy in the long run.

In one graceful motion, Azazel reappeared atop a tree branch inside of the Xiao clan manor. What he saw, after stabilizing himself, was quite the surprise.

Not only was the number of students milling about in the manor diminished by around 90 percent, but the destroyed infrastructures and steaming houses also created a picturesque scene of a war zone. If anything, this further made him aware of how exactly powerful he has become while being at the mere true profound realm.

While standing atop this tree, Azazel could see the downcast faces of the elders. Their expressions of helplessness, weakness, and even sadness. This was how the world functioned, unfortunately. If he had not defended himself and let nature take its course, those same expressions would originate from no one else but him. The concept of survival of the fittest was prevalent in this world. It is kill or be killed. Henceforth, Azazel felt neither pity or guilt at crippling his opponents the night before.

Talking about crippling his opponent, something felt extremely odd during that fight. In the battle, he almost always felt an impeccable level of calm that drove all thoughts away from his subconscious. Even his emotions were none existent, it was as if he was being submerged in a pool that effaced everything. The battle and only the battle was his focus. Azazel naturally had a few guesses as to what is causing this. Almost every single use of the needle catastrophe induces the mentioned consequence, it was probably a side effect or state birthed from the utilization of the needle's power.

If his thoughts about killing being wrong were not so strong, those students would have died by his hands and not chief's.

And so time passed. Unknown to the elders of the Xiao clan, a little boy in a red suit with white hair was nesting ever so freely inside of their manor. This little boy was the same exact person they were searching with haste for days never to realize that he was currently chilling in their turf. Fate's work, in some cases, is extremely hilarious, isn't it?

more than 6 hours passed, and Azazel was slowly getting impatient. The boredom even prompted him to lay his small frame atop the tree and slowly sink into the realm of dreams.

The wind blew fiercely under the beautifying rays of the moon. The leaves responded involuntarily, moving side to side without the force to stop their inertia.

A small red portal abruptly appeared above the tree, causing the immediate stop of any circulation of air. This was the arrival of someone with insurmountable might.

A near heavenly smell spread around the civility, using the air as an expected medium.

Azazel's nose twitched in response and his eyes followed suit, Opening them as he gazed upon the source of the smell. A small smile tugged the corners of his lips, it seems like he was right after all.

There, floating within proximity was none other than jasmine. From the looks of it, however, talking was the last thing circulating in her mind....
