10 Chapter Ten

As Axel drove away, Trina stood there.

I must say, what she did was stupid and weird but let's watch as things go.

While in the car, Axel dialed Diego's number.

"¿Puedes creer lo que acaba de pasar?" Axel said on the call.

"¿Que?" Diego asked.

"Esa chica desvergonzada, Trina, me besó jodidamente" Axel said.

"¿de verdad?" Diego said.

"She's fucking stupid, I'm coming back to campus right now" Axel replied.

"Okay, apúrate" Diego said.

Axel cut the line.

Back at campus.

I finished having lunch with August at the café.

We were about leaving when August made contact with Cameron who was about to enter the café.

"Holy shit! That's him!" August uttered.

"Where?" I asked.

"The one who's about to open the door" August replied.

Cameron walked into the café.

"Holy mother of God" I uttered staring at Cameron.

"Damn August, you've got good eye" I said to August.

Cameron looked around before noticing I and August and walked towards our table.

"Shit! He's coming" August uttered.

"Hey! We met earlier today, you come here often?" Cameron said to August.

"Oh you! Yeah I come here often or let me say, almost everyday" August replied.

"This is my friend, Stella. Stella meet Cameron, a boy I met today" August introduced.

"Hi I'm Stella" I introduced myself.

"Cameron" he replied.

"Were you guys about to leave? Can I join you?" Cameron asked.

"No, no we weren't about to leave, we just got here" August replied awkwardly.

Damn August, you lying now?

"Great" Cameron said taking a seat.

"What would you like? I can help you get it" August offered.

"I can get it myself" Cameron smiled.

"No, let me help you, I equally want to get something" August said.

"Alright then, I want to get doughnuts with a side of extra creamy milkshake" Cameron said. August walked to the counter.

"So Stella, what is your major?" Cameron asked me.

"Journalism, what about you?" I asked.

"Psychology" he replied.

"I'm back" August said, handing Cameron his order and passing a cup of hot cocoa to me.

"That was quick" Cameron said.

August took his seat, a notification popped up on his phone.

"Diego said something happened with Axel" August said.

"What is that?" I asked.

"Hold on, let me ask" August called Diego's number.

"Sorry" August said to Cameron.

"What happened?" August asked Diego on the call.

"Axel said Trina kissed him" Diego said.

"What? It's not a bad thing" August laughed.

"You know Axel, I'm pretty sure something else happened, you know he ever wanted to hang out with her" Diego said.

"When he gets back, he'll tell us what happened" August said.

"Yeah" Diego uttered before hanging up.

"Is it serious?" I asked. "Maybe, I don't think its much of a big deal, you know Axel" August replied me.

"Who's Axel?" Cameron asked.

"My best friend" august replied.

"Oh I see" Cameron said.

I stared at the both of them, smiling.

August couldn't take his eyes off Cameron as he watched him eat.

I knew from this point, they had a connection.

As I continued staring at them, I realized that I told Axel everything that happened to me. He never talked about it again.

What kind of person is Axel Martinez?

We were about to leave the café when Axel walked in with absolute rage in his eyes.

"Martinez" August called out, showing Axel where we were sitted.

Diego also walked in.

"What happened?" August asked Axel.

Axel and Diego sat down.

"Can you believe that slimy ignorant bitch, Trina kissed me" Axel said.

"She kissed you?" Diego said.

"But its not a bad thing" August uttered.

"It sure is, she knows I'm not into her and I can never be into her but yet she kissed me and after that threatened me" Axel said.

"How did she threaten you, what exactly did she say?" August asked.

"She said she was going to tell everybody that I made advances towards her" Axel explained before noticing someone new was at the table.

"What's up bro" Axel said to Cameron who gave him a sign of peace.

"Nah why would she say such? I'm pretty sure you said things that made her angry, this is serious Axel" Diego said.

"Esa maldita perra!" Axel exclaimed.

"What are we going to do about this?" August said.

"Get Clara to talk to her I guess" Diego implied.

"We all know whatever Clara says to her won't change her mind, that girl is a psychopath" Axel uttered.

"I'll leave now" Cameron said, getting up to leave.

"Nice to meet you all" Cameron uttered.

"Alright then, see you around" August said to Cameron.

"Yeah, bye" Cameron said, leaving the café.

"I should go" I said.

"Why?" August asked.

"This doesn't concern me and I've got assignments due tomorrow, gotta head back" I said.

"Okay, see you" Diego said.

Axel clearly wasn't in the mood to pay attention to anything I was saying and my reason for leaving at this crucial time.

I grabbed my bag and left the café.

"Just three of us now" August uttered.

"Trina has always wanted you Axel, now that you clearly rejected her, she'll find any means to make your life miserable" Diego said.

"Being a drug dealer is far better than being on a sex offender list" Axel uttered in obvious stress.

"We'll find a way out of this" august said.

They got up to leave the café.

At my dorm.

I opened the door to my room, dropped my things on the side of my bed and laid flat on it.

Deep down I felt bad for Axel, being accused falsely is a huge thing.

No one believes the accused, they always believe the accuser, probably why we aren't moving forward in this society.

I hope he doesn't get into any trouble.

After several minutes of laying on my bed, I got up to get my laptop.

I opened it and started doing my unfinished assignments.

Everything will be okay.
