Awoke In an Irradiated World

The story is set in 2055, twenty years after the end of World War 3. WW3 was a nuclear nightmare, and after nearly 100 nukes exploded in various parts of the world in the span of a day, everyone experienced a bright flash. Afterwards, nuclear bombs refused to explode and nuclear research stagnated. The religious felt it was as if God banned the use of such weapons of mass destruction and changed the rules of the world. Over time, creatures began appearing near the blast sights, a first they were weak, but they soon became strong... Our story follows Sam, who was born in the years after the war.
