Arias’ killing intent had subsided, but the sword in his hand was still pointed at the fire dragon demon’s throat. Having lived in the demon realm for a year, Arias learned from experiences that demons were so feral that it was nearly impossible to trust them. More importantly, most of them seemed like they were humans’ natural enemies, which was why he couldn’t trust the female demon who was lying on the floor.
She seemed to know that if she resisted, her only fate would be death. This was why she chose to negotiate instead of struggling and trying to fight. However, it seemed like she wasn’t a very eloquent negotiator.
“Can’t you see that I already surrendered? Now get your sword away from my neck. Seriously. Is this how humans behave? Barging into someone else’s home and threatening to kill the owner!? So barbaric.”
She was yelling at him ceaselessly.
“You still haven’t answered my question. Are you a human or a demon?”
