12 Ruther Town

"We've finally arrived to Ruther town" Benelix said as he stretches his body from the long journey they have had to get here.

Selins told Kenlus about his father's death, he didn't have much of reaction to the news of his father's death only a little bit of sadness can be seen in his eyes to comfort his mother.

"Mom, dont worry i will avenge my fathers death after i have become a full fledged wizard" Kenlus said to mother to help her have hope that Belus death won't be in vain.

Kenlus had other thoughts about his father, he looked down on his own father, yes Belus was loving and caring, but that isn't power. When the elders of the school said that he has a magic qi talent of rank six every one had put high hopes for Kenlus to become the pillar of the village.

Rank six talent was rare in the kingdom as one in ten thousand kids will have that high of a talent. The highest magic qi talent ever recorded in the Finna kingdom is of rank nine. The talent measuring stone can detect talent up to rank fourteen but no one has ever reached that far.

The higher the rank of ones talent the more they would be able to absorb the qi in the environment leading to higher breakthroughs. With a talent of rank six Kenlus can enter the wizard Gold realm rank one at minimum, all Gold realm wizards are considered elites of the Finna kingdom.

The life of a Gold realm wizard would be luxurious as they hold a very high status, as high as the nobles of the Finna kingdom. Gold realm wizards are the foundations of the Finna kingdom, other kingdoms for humans have similar foundations or even better than the Finna kingdom, the Finna kingdom is considered the lowest ranking kingdom in the Celtia empire so many people from other kingdoms look down on the Finna kingdom for being weak.

Kenlus feels a hand on his shoulder that hand was big and sturdy feeling, Kenlus looks up only to see Benelix with red eyes as he is putting his hand on his shoulder. "Kenlus don't worry we will both avenge the death of Belus" Benelix said looking sharply at Kenlus with eyes of revenge.

Benelix understands the talent of Kenlus the most as he will be able to go to higher heights than he ever has. Benelix has only reached rank seven of the Copper realm as his talent was insufficient to help him break through to the Silver realm. Benelix knows that given sometime Kenlus will be an elite wizard in the kingdom, who would dare to offend Kenlus when he becomes one, they would only be wishing death.

Benelix doesn't understand Kenlus very well as Kenlus just said that to his mother to help her stop sobbing his father's death. Selins hasn't stoped crying for the day long journey they had, he felt heart broken seeing his mother in that condition.

They all have arrived to town, Benelix took all the horses that were pushing the carriages and stationed them at a barn nearby. Benelix handed the young man at the farm three copper coins to have the carriages and horses stationed there.

Many would leave all belongings to barn in the village as the people of the barn work for the town that is why they are stationed by the town. This helps keep order in the town to have visitors come without fear of having all their belongings stolen. The higher the security in the town for protecting visitors the more it will prosper in the future.

Elise decides to head to the market with Kenlus to gather supplies and food for the journey towards the capital. Kenlus didn't mind going with Elise shoping has he also wanted a change of environment. They both went to seek permission from either Benelix or Selins to go to the market.

Selins gives Kenlus silver coins to gather supplies, she approved of both of them going as she felt that they old enough to take care of it. "Elise and Kenlus I'll leave the responsibilitys of gathering the supplies to the both of you, do not disappoint me this is very importa important" Selins said in a strict tone to let them know that resupplying is essential.

"Yes" Both of them said in unison as they head off to the market.

Selins decides to head towards the branch temple of Heavens that is located in the center of the town as she sees both Elise and Kenlus off.

Selins sees a tall building in the center of the town which had nine floors, the building look elegant and elaborate. The had statues of the element God's on the top of the building, the flowers in the gardens were countless and exuded a sweet aroma that made this place more elegant.

"Oh my this branch is much better than the branch we have at Caleb village" Selins thinks to herself as she heads towards the doors of the temple of Heavens.

Aris trys to open the chamber door that is downstairs only to find it locked. "Elder Guan are you there someone important is here to see you" Aris said towards the door hoping that Elder Guan is there.

Elder Guan hears Aris voice from the other side of the door, he hurriedly pulls his pants up and trys to fix himself up as fast as possible to make everything seem normal.

"What is it lass can't you see that im interagting the demonic being why are you interrupting me" Elder Guan said hurriedly.

In the corner of the chamber room where Elder Guan currently is in you can see a demoic being that has tears of blood trailing down it's face. The demoic being looked terrible it had two long horns but it did not have any eye's as if someone has pulled them out. The demoic being looked like it has been tortured the whole time it has been there.

"It's an elder from Caleb village branch, she wishes to meet with you to inquire on private matters" Aris said speedily.

"Go upstairs and show her some hospitality I'll be there in just a moment" Elder Guan said.

Aris heads upstairs towards where Selins was sitting in the hall "Elder Guan said he will be with you shortly, in the mean time what would you like to drink" Aris said respectfully towards Selins.

"Just some water will be fine" Selins said.

Elder Guan takes on last look at the demonic being that is in the corner, a look of hatred can be seen in his eyes. Elder Guan spits at the demonic being "After im finished meeting this elder don't worry ill be back for you" Elder Guan said angrily.

Elder Guan heads towards the hall where Selins and Aris are.

"Elder from Caleb village its a pleasure to meet you" Elder Guan said respectfully towards Selins

"It's a pleasure to meet you as well Elder Guan, I have come here today to seek assistance from Elder Guan. Elder Guan if you are able to assist me ill be forever grateful to you" Selins said politely.

"What matter would like my assistance with Elder"

"I wish to find my son he goes by the name of Zena, here's a small portrait of him" Selins hands over a portrait of Zena to Elder Guan.

Elder Guan sees the photo he gets a feeling that he has seen this boy somewhere but he doesnt seem to be able to recall the memory.

"I'll pass this portrait towards my guards see if they have seen anything near by the town or not" Elder Guan said.

"I'm letting you know from now that we have captured a demonic being earlier, so it's getting very dangerous out there so please be careful" Elder Guan said intending for Selins to be extra cautious.

"captured a demonic being" shock can be seen on Selins face as she remmbers the death of her husband by the hands of demonic beings. A single tear can be seen falling, anger starts to reside on her face.

Elder Guan sees the expression changing on Selins face, he detects a trace of hate in Selins eyes. Elder Guan smiles and looks at Selins "Would you like to see it"
