Awakening of Asuraraj Ravana

In a dimly lit room a person was sitting and going through some texts on a paper which by looks of it looked quite worn out. The man was wearing a plane shirt with joggers which had many pockets and in them were equipments like brush, chisels and other tools that are used in archeology.

The man was a archeolist who was researching about ancient India in the times of Ramayana. From the expression on the man's face it was clear that he had made a great discovery from the text he was reading. The man's name was Rohan and he was a archeolist from the Department of Archeology in India specifically from Uttar Pradesh.

" Finally I have found the place where the artifact from the period of Ramayana is said to be buried!!!"

" They didn't believe me when I was telling them dismissing it as myth, and framing me of being mad and insane."

"With this discovery I will prove them wrong and then I will be the renowned archeolist in the world"

While Rohan was talking this he remembered his birthplace Kanpur where there was temple of Ravana, the demon king of Lanka from the scriptures of Ramayana. This temple was one of the few where Ravana was worshipped and people prayed to him as God not demon.

It only opened during the time of Dashera and this tradition was from the time of King Shiv Shekhar. In his childhood he was fascinated by this temple and their his interest in Ramayana grew and with time it became his obsession and only goal. After studying Archeology he studied many monuments from ancient times from both inside India and outside of India.

With his study got to know more about Ramayana as well as Ravana and he became fascinated with him. He began to look for more info on Ravana, he started from his city because he remembered there were carvings on the walls of the temple about some event in Ramayana. From their he collected some clues and visited many sites like Lanka, Bhutan, Nepal, Bali and many more.

From all the gathered information he got to know about a prophecy that foretold the return of Ravana in Kaliyug. And from that excavation site he also got a map towards a place which held a artifact from Ravana's kingdome. And now he had decipherd the map and got the location of the place, and the place was the Bishrak located near Delhi and believed to be the birthplace of Ravana.

With this info he got ready for the journey and began the preparation for the excavation. He didn't say anything about this to his family or friends, he believed that if he showed the proof with the artifact his ruined reputation will get fixed.

With this he set off towards his destination and a journey which he had anticipated for years began. As he was travelling to Bishrak he thought about the prophecy which told him about the return of Ravana in Kaliyug it mentioned that

"As the Kaliyug will be at its mid phase that the people would forget their humanity and become a demon worse then demon, then the King feared by many and revered by many will rise from the Depths of Hell and will have the fate of the world with him either to destroy or to make will be at his feet"

As he thought of this only one such King came to his mind Ravana the Danav(Demon) King he was the most powerful demon amongst the all the demons. As he was near immortal because of Bramha's Boon with thoughts like he drifted to sleep, because his drive to find the artifact he had not slept peacefully and because of that he had accumulated stress and his body needed rest.

As he drifted to sleep he had dreams in which he saw a figure with 10 heads calling to him and telling him to find him soon. After this he woke up with a start with a heavy feeling but after some time he forgot the dream and looked outside and saw that the train is reaching the Delhi station. After seeing this he got up and started checking his luggage after that he started walking towards the door.

The train soon reached the platform and he got out and began walking towards the Taxi stop. And after reaching the stop he took a taxi to Bishrak, it took him almost two hours to reach the village, after reaching the village he paid the taxi driver and began searching for the place of Ravana's birth with the help of the map.

But he did not find it inside the village so he started asking about it around the village, some people told him to go towards south of the village for about a kilometre then he will see the place where the demon king is said to born. As he started following the trail told by the villager he saw that some villegers came towards him so he stopped walking.

As they reached him a man in his middle age came forward and said

"Are you the one asking about the birth place of Ravana?"

Rohan was surprised by this question and answered " Yes, I am a scientist and archeologist and looking for clues of Ramayana. Is there problem in going to the Birth place of Ravana?"

The man replied " That sight is our sacred ground and we can't let to taint it otherwise we will face wrath of Ravana. Last a team came to do research on it we tried stopping them but they anyway continued the research. But after a week many of them became insane or died, so we can't let you go there."

After hearing this Rohan's intrest increased and he answered "This quest has taken almost my whole life so no matter the risk I will complete it. So do not stop me."

After saying this he started walking towards the tails and soon saw the place told by the first villeger. After seeing this he quickned his pace and reached the place quickly.

There he saw a small temple of Ravana so he inspected it and found a depicted scene from Ravana's childhood where he left for doing Tapsaya. In that scene he saw a similar mountain that he saw on the map, after looking carefully he found that the mountain was right behind the temple. So he started walking towards the mountain hurriedly, but he never anticipated that the eagerness will bring results that he never expected.

After walking for a hour and half he reached the mountain base but did not find anything out of ordinary so he took out the map and begin inspecting closely. After some time he found a Symbol similar to omkar 🕉️ drawn on a stone near the base, and so he pressed the symbol and with that a sound like stone skidding came from behind him. After turning back he saw the front of the mountain was opened and a passage was visible.

After seeing that he was existed and began walking towards the passage and after inspection and finding it safe he entered the passage. But he was unknown that this one action changed fate of many including him and the world itself.
