Orcs Vs Zombies (2)
"GUII!!" The Orc huffed out hot breath from its nostrils and charged toward Seth.
"Hmm!" The other Orc nodded and rushed at Felix on all four. His bead-like eyes flickered from a tinge of fear.
[Ding! Talent Stealth has been activated.]
The Orc that had been fighting Felix frowned and glanced around, "Gui! Where did you go?"
"Grr!" Felix chuckled and swung his club wildly toward the Orc's head.
"Guui--" The Orc stumbled forward, its words getting cut short. Its eyes grew dull from the ringing reverberating in its head back and forth.
Felix didn't allow it to regain its wits and bashed its head again.
"Blarr--" Blood gushed out of the Orc's mouth. Its legs went limp as it collapsed on its knees.
"Gigi!" Felix's hand swung down again.
But before the club could touch the Orc, the other Orc barged into him, causing him to miss.
"Grr!" Felix grunted and shifted his head to stare at the intruder.
The instant his head turned, he saw a fist bolting at his face which smacked him away like a pesky fly.
[Warning! Your accumulative injuries are reaching a negative level. Please devour flesh to recover.]
The instant the notification appeared another fist smacked into his chest, the sounds of Felix's ribs getting snapped one after another reverberated back to back.
[Caution! Your injuries have reached a dangerous level. Please devour flesh to recover!]
"GUUIII!!! HOW DARE YOU HARM MY BROTHER!" The Orc roared, it had grown a pair after seeing its brother collapse to its feet.
Its eyes trembled from fright as it wiped its sweat away, 'Frightening! So frightening!' Seeing Felix roll on the ground, it finally heaved a sigh of relief.
"Brother!" It squatted next to the Orc who had yet to snap out of its concussion and checked its injuries.
Blood profusely gushed out from its head. The soft flesh on its skull had many holes in them. They weren't deep, but they stretched further into the skin than the ones on its face.
"Grr!" Felix groaned and felt something burn in his chest. His gums squeezed together tightly. His arms tensed into solid rocks, causing his every fiber to roar maddeningly, even forcing his dead veins to bulge out.
The Orc didn't even realize Felix reach out for him due to the effect of stealth and instantly felt something crash into its head like a sledgehammer.
This time, Felix finally succeeded!
All his 25 points of Strength finally erupted for the first time after his awakening. Causing the spikes to wholly pierce through the head and into the brain.
The Orc felt its world blur, its heart quivered like a leaf in a storm, its eyes quacking from dread. It could see its brother in front of it struggling to get up and resist this abnormal monster. Their bead size eyes met, they could see the despair in each other.
Their confidence in killing the zombies earlier wasn't blind.
The Orcs were such a breed of monsters that they would've run had it been anybody else. But the thing was... Zombies couldn't exert their whole strength at once!
This was the setback of being a zombie!
A creature without a brain! A creature incapable of experiencing rage- the only emotion which could draw out strength from every fiber of a being's body.
[Yes...] The System's voice felt dazed... and amazed! [YES! YES!]
[Host!] The notifications and the voice echoing in Felix's head contained immense joy, [Remember this feeling!]
[This is the feeling that will grant you the highest power that you can ever possess. This feeling...This madness... This rage in your chest!]
[This is how you can be stronger than anybody else!]
[You aren't tied to mortal limitations, you have already become an immortal! So you don't need to be tied like mortals– mortals who know only doom awaits then if they get swallowed by rage!]
[Let this anger rule you! Let it drown you and you will become,] The System's voice trembled from exhilaration, [Stronger!]
"Grr!" Felix's eyes flickered from rage, he leaned his head closer to the pig who punched him and stared straight into its wobbly bead size eyes.
The roaring emotions burst out from within him in the only way he knew to express them, "GRRRRR!"
The Orc's eyes trembled, it knew it was doomed.
Its body had already gone cold on him- its injuries had grown even worse than its comrade's from a single strike.
'Gui... I thought it was just a fluke when the zombie roared like this earlier. But now that I hear it again, indeed... This zombie is capable of expressing emotions!' The Orc lifted its head, glancing at Felix raising the club high– preparing to finish it off, 'Frightening! So frightening! I don't want to... die to him!'
"Grr!" Felix's lips stretched back, and the club crashed down.
'SAVE MEE!!' A scream erupted from the Orc's heart but it knew, nothing could sav-
"GGUUUIII!!" The other Orc screeched loudly, the fear inside it finally erupted as it drove back the numbness and forced its body to head-butt Felix in the gut.
"Grr!" Felix's eyes widened as he got whooshed back, his club missing its target for the second time.
The Orc stared at its comrade with shaky eyes and kicked it on its butt before forcing it onto its feet.
He patted the Orc's shoulder, giving him strength before oinking like a pig, "Fight! Fight!"
Its bead-sized eyes trembled from fear and weakness, and its heart thrashed in its rib cage. It had lost a lot of blood- it could collapse any second but the notion that it would die if it kept sitting like this had caused its fear to run in a frenzy.
This exact dread of dying had allowed it to resist Felix again.
'Enough!' Felix's eyes started to shake violently, his body whooshed through the air and appeared behind the Orc like a phantom.
"GRRRR!!!" With all the strength roaring inside him, Felix flung the club forward.
"GUI!!" The Orc screamed out and pushed aside its brother.
The Orc's pupils enlargened as the club rushed to its face.
'FUCKING DIE ALREADY!!' The club whistled through and flattened the Orc's face- riddling it in blood and holes.
[Congratulations! You have killed an Orc. You have received 80 EXP!]
Felix's eyes bolted left- seeing the Orc's head slowly shifting back to make sense of what just happened to it, a grin appeared atop Felix's face.
Resisting the momentum in his arms– dragging them further away– he shifted his body and dragged back the club. Slamming it straight into the Orc's bloodied skull- bashing it in with a loud thud.
[Congratulations! You have killed an Orc. You have received 80 EXP!]
[Congratulations! Your Club Mastery has increased to level 2!]
Felix's smile continued to grow more maniacal, 'Indeed... beautiful! This peace is... beautiful!'
The scent of blood.... the scent of death, the loss of all hope!
The sound of his weapon crashing into flesh and blowing it apart!
The sound of blood gushing out of wounds- a word befitting this divine place popped up in Felix's mind and spread outside through his ruptured vocals, "Hev-an!"
At the same time, Felix's eyes drifted to the Orc that was wearily looking around in search of Seth.
Having no clue that the one to be sought had already appeared.
But strangely, unlike the many times when Seth instantly slashed his dagger- this time he grabbed his dagger with both hands and muttered aloud, "Dagger... charge!"
A seething light coated the dagger's blade, dragging the Orc's attention to the fiend standing behind him. It instantly growled and spat through its gritted teeth, "Ther-"
Seth's body rushed forward like a phantom and with both hands, he drove the dagger straight toward the wound on the Orc's neck.
"GUI!!" The Orc screeched in fright and jumped back. But Seth's dagger instantly caught up to it and plunged through.
A sizzling sound like meat being roasted along with the tasty scent of grilled meat wafted off of the wound- the Orc instantly felt its death flash past its eyes.
"GUIII!!!" Power exploded from its body and it punched forward.
But in the same instant, the light coating the dagger blasted forward and escaped from the other side of the Orc's neck.
The Orc's fist blasted into Seth, causing it to pierce through him.
But... that was all.
