8 Is that a bed?

James looked around the submarine before concluding everything of value was stripped from it before people left.

He pulled himself out of the hatch and jumped to the concrete harbour. He walked back to the housing to see what he could discover.

At the housing and workshops James continued through them, checking every so often to find the same barren environment. Not giving up hope he came across another sign. Power station.

Jumping in excitement he rushed that way. He found a huge metal door and pulled it open as its hinges protested. He wandered inside going up and down corridors until he came across a control room.

An expanse of buttons and dials lay still. No movement No colour. Scanning around the room a large switch drew his attention. Grabbing on it and pulling as hard as he could. Nothing happened. Flustered James tried once again with his telekinesis and watched in awe as the power station came alive.

Whirrs, screeches, clangs and bangs played an orchestra of noise as buttons and dials flickered to life.

James left the room in a quickly and the power station hoping to see a change in the submarine bay. And there was a change. Huge lamps lit up the bay. The waters became illuminated and all the structures could be seen.

Janes left the submarine bay and went through the strange runed arch back into the cave system he gathered up the leaves and logs and returned back to the first house he entered. The leaves became a rudimentary pile for a bed and the logs were stacked for fires.

James pulled some more fish from the water and cooked Resolving to explore this base in the entirety as he also studied his powers.
