7 Exploring Part 2

James jaw hung open in sheer shock at the contrast between the weird gate and the clear militaristic layout of this submarine bay.

Closely laid bricks and mortar gave the bay a clean atmosphere despite layers of dust. James eyes were wide as he glanced around. Seeing how the bays end could not be found he decided to walk in that direction.

As James walked details became clear. Housing structures became clear. Houses and workshops arose from the gloom. Likely for people to work on submarines held here. James opened a door to a puff of dust.

He coughed and waved his hand in front of his face as he waited for the dust cloud to clear. When it did he went inside to cast his eyes to. An empty room. Bare wall and a floor was all the house had. No furniture, no appliances.

James left the house to keep tredding the length of the bay. Long lines of docks for submarines and workshops were all that could be seen.

Until a end could be seen, a last harbour that held a singular submarine. Tilting and damaged it was listing to side in the water. The stone bricks all that held upright. James strode to the hatch atop and wrenched it open with his telekinesis.

It popped off reminsicient of a soda can. Flying off into the distance with echoing clangs. James moved to the now open hatch and grabbed the ladders rungs and dropped down. His feet hit the metal decking of the corridor as he looked left and right.

He decided to go to the front of the submarine and hopefully the bridge. As he walked he watched the firewood as it slowly burnt down. Smoke flew off as the wood was slowly consumed.

He shook his head clearing his thoughts and kept walking. He quickly came to a door and pulled it open with a loud screech.

Lights flickered as James walked into room with a large central chair and a window that looked out into the gloomy waters. Fish darted here and there as James listened to the creaks and groans of the damaged ship.
