136 Race to the Finish

Walking outside of the mansion the party stops and stares at the now desiccated yard, the previously lush and well taken care of plant life now long dead and gray to the eye as a painful scream echoes down from the mansion at the top of the hill, its marble columns and stained windows overlooking the fours other homes below it while a massive gate can be seen behind the structure.

"Kind of creepy that as soon as we removed the bard, all the souls and the surroundings just vanished or died instantly don't you think?" Asks Elrick, the small mans hands white knuckling his daggers as he glances around in discomfort.
