Law of the Dungeon

As the surviving bandits enter the core room several of them gasp or swear as they see Anissa still encaged against the wall. Calmly looking over the group I'm happy to see Sarah's entire party managed to survive as did the group with the gray render. Iron and her strange band of women stand at the forefront watching the group easily as they finger their weapons in preparation of a rush or attempt before one of the women gasp and slowly bow towards the entrance as Fraz steps into the room, his body showing exhaustion as he looks around.

"Bandits of Gotyr, you once had a pact with my dungeon. Peace and strength in exchange for protection and assistance. Your leaders broke that pact and paid with their lives. Bertram the Butcher was excised like the cancer he was by our new friend Tobias, while the insane avatar Stein was finally put to rest by Fraz at great damage to himself. Anissa has sworn to make this right and is the only reason most of you are standing here unharmed and now my dungeon has made his decisions about you all." Tilly says imperiously as I nod to her, my mind made up after thinking of what I wanted from this situation now that it ended.

"First off all slaves are no free. They can choose to pact with the dungeon, leave for a chance at a fresh start, or even stay with you if they choose. But all remaining slaves are no longer yours." Tilly says seriously to sighs of relief from a multitude of people including a surprising number of the bandits.

"Secondly, a new pact will be made with anyone wanting to stay. A new village will be built connected to the dungeon entrance and our mobs will be both allowed to enter and leave the village but also help build and defend it. If you stay you are OUR people from now on. That dosen't mean you can't kill our mobs and bosses and that they can't kill you but it means mutual respect and cooperation. You work to better our lives and we will do the same for you. Those who can conquer our challenges will become strong while our enemies will feed our power." Emi says happily, a growl in their voice as several of the bandits nod and even a few smiles can be seen, relief on the owners faces.

"Third as much as many of us may not like it, myself included, Anissa will be put into the soon to be built prison as its first prisoner. She will stay there until we can either verify her loyalty or until she has paid for her breaking of the original pact." Grunts Tyr as she slams the butt of her spear into the ground in finality, several of the bandits wincing in sympathy as Anissa smiles sadly and nods in acceptance.

'And finally we prepare for war. You do not need to take part but I will not sit here and allow an enemy such as this insane dungeon keep sending enemies to harass and abuse us. We will be building a war room shortly. Any information you have on this dungeons location, its mobs, floors, bosses, strengths or weaknesses will be appreciated. Any help will be rewarded. On my core I swear that this will end only when I or they or defeated and absorbed by the other.' I say seriously, the sound of my thoughts reverberating throughout the room as the bandits all look at my core in awe as I finally finish and turn to Anissa.

'This will be the last time we will be talking in awhile Anissa, anything you have to say should be said now so that you have no regrets. I don't know how the prison will work yet but I can't in good conscience allow you to run free after this.' I state calmly as the assassin nods and smiles gently, her eyes shining as she takes a breath.

"Thank you for giving them another chance dungeon core. It's nice to finally speak to you instead of one of your envoys. To you louts over there, listen to Iron and Tyr. They know what to do and they're good people if strange. Become strong, use this to grow and become more than bandits and thieves. Actually be adventurers for a change." She says with conviction as many of the bandits smile and nod towards her, Iron smiling sadly as she and Tyr stand next to each other and accept the role thrust upon them.

"Also dungeon core, a piece of advice I hope will help. I know you already dealt with the death knight and troll but that dungeon has three others he releases to roam and kill. The omnitaur is the strongest but Bert killed it. It will be back though. There's a lich as well but we finished it off early on and its not really much of a threat if kept away from any corpses. The last one is a Jade, which is a type of undead insect woman. She can transform from a human form to a hybrid form, which is the upper body of the woman attached to a skeletal centipedes legs. She uses alot of venom and enjoys hunting menfolk during the times the moon rises. My advise is to wait until each respawns then lure them here and kill them, that way once you attack this dungeon it won't have access or bosses for those floors or area's. Other than that good luck and take care of them, they might be a bunch of degenerates but they aren't all bad." Anissa says with a cocky smile making several of the teary faced bandits laugh or sob.

'Thank you Anissa. Hopefully the day comes you can be trusted again. Until then, see ya later.' I say as the cage sinks into the floor and stays in a small room under my core room until the prison is made. Now is the time to think and plan a war.
