*I really couldn't just retire in peace. Not only am I now having to worry about how other nations are going to take advantage of the ninetails attack. I also have to keep Danzo in check, and on top of that this mystery kid strong enough to keep the ninetails at bay is worrisome. Also Minato's death has to be dealt with soon. The people of Konoha are restless and on edge. This needs fixing. First the other nations, danzo, then the people. Hopefully I can suppress news of this event for a couple of days. Oh kami… then the mystery kid.*

"Dragon."

An anbu appears kneeling in front of the tired hokage.

"Get a squad to monitor the barrier closely no one in or out of konoha. After that, get the anbu to round everyone who lived in front of the hokage tower.*

The anbu named dragon nods and disappears in a shinsuin. The tired hokage sighs and heads off to meet an old friend.

(Mc pov)

Right now I'm in a not destroyed library. Reading up on necessities. Such as history to tell if this is an au. And science to tell what I'm working with so I don't accidentally drop a knowledge bomb. Also damn the manipulation is strong in this one. Like I can't go a single book without something about the will of fire. Also this may be an au but I think it's more filled in plot holes.

Such as the Uzumaki village destruction. Being more about how konoha was weak at the time and konoha couldn't help much. Probably fake but meh that's what the book said.

Wait is this old Era "My souce is I made it the fuck up"... yep definitely is. Moving on then. Guess it's time to sneak into the civilian evacuation centers. We'll center but you get the point.

Keeping stealth active I move to the evacuation centers only to see the civilians being rounded up at the hokage tower. I find a place in the crowd where I won't be seen just appearing out of nowhere and deactivated stealth. Asking a kid nearby what's going on.

"The hokage is about to give a speech." Nodding, I move away from the kid. Looking up to the tower I see the hokage moving into view. "People of konoha, many have died on this day including the one who saved the village, the fourth hokage. His presence will be missed but we must stay strong. To carry the flame our dead loved ones have entrusted to us. I know the will of fire burns bright. For I know I will stay strong and honor my loved ones. I implore you to do the same. This day is a dark day. But hopefully it will only serve to make us stronger. So for now go home and mourn your lost friend and family. But please remember your loved ones wouldn't have wanted you to lose yourself In sadness. This is all I have to say. This is all I can say. Just stay strong and trust in the will of wire." after saying that the hokage walks away from a determined crowd.

*bruh how much will of fire can that man shove into a speech. *sigh* manipulation at its finest.* I think with a slightly impressed face. I then activate stealth and head towards the hokage tower to spy on the hokage. But i first put 10 Stat points into body and the rest in mind just in case something goes wrong.

Once inside the hokage tower I realize everyone is frozen. *huh am I really moving that fast that everything is just not moving.* I focus on slowing down and everyone starts moving again.

Hokage: "-ews on that mystery kid."

Dragon: "not at the moment we are still looking."

Hokage: "you receive any information, report it to me immediately, dismissed."

The Anbu bows and leaves in a shinsuin. The hokage brings their hand to their temple and messages it. "I really couldn't just retire. Why my wife too." The hokage said tiredly mumbling to himself.

"Fine, I'll make your job easier." I state out loud which causes the hokage to jump his head snapping to my position. His face turns serious. While I just stare impassively.

"Who are you?" The hokage asks tensing up. "Sora." I say while raising an eyebrow at him. "So you're the mystery kid. How did you get in here?" he asks, going from on edge to contemplative.

"I walked." I say with complete seriousness. "*sigh* not much for conversation are you?" he says calming down.

"..."

"Fine, what do you want?" he asks tiredly. "Nothing really, just making your job easier like I said." he just looks at me with an eyebrow raised. "Would you agree to an anbu watching you?" he said as his head thunks onto the table. 'Bro is genuinely done for the day.' I think with a sweat drop. "sure why not."

I pull some cooked (still hot) bird out of my inventory that I had hunted and offer it to him. The hokage just looked at me with a raised eyebrow. "what? it's not poisoned." I say in mock ignorance. "I know but where did you get it from?" He asks actually curious. "Storage seal." I say not completely lying.

He takes the offered chicken. And starts to eat. The second his attention slips from me I take out my own and start eating as well. He just narrows his eyes at me and I smirk. Also the food is alright. I did the best I could with what I had available. Which wasn't much. An anbu finally appears. A little confused about the situation.

"Hound, you will be watching this kid until further notice. This is the mystery kid who held back the ninetails." I see the anbu slightly tense at that. Whether that be painful memories or suprise I don't know. I raise my hand like this is a class room. After finishing my chicken.

The hokage just looks at me in exasperation. "Yes?" "Can I just say hound here doesn't have to sneak around me. My senses are too strong to not know where he is."

The hokage sighs and orders hound to take off his mask. To reveal Kakashi looking like he went 3 rounds with a wall and lost. I look at Kakashi then the hokage then back to Kakashi. I sigh, grab his arm and start to walk away. I can feel the hokage smile through air pressure. But I just keep walking.

"So what's your name?" I ask, trying to keep the man from thinking too much. "Kakashi." He answers in a fake upbeat tone. "Well then Kakashi who won?" I ask in the same upbeat tone he used. He just looks at me in confusion until I clarify. "It looks like you got into a fight with a wall. So did you win or the wall?" he seems to understand then states. "The wall." I just smile while dragging him outside.
