[The Triskelion, S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters; Steve walks into Fury's office day time]
Steve Rogers: You just can't stop yourself from lying, can you?
Nick Fury: I didn't lie. Agent Romanoff had a different mission than yours.
Steve Rogers: Which you didn't feel obliged to share.
Nick Fury: I'm not obliged to do anything.
Steve Rogers: Those hostages could've died, Nick.
Nick Fury: I sent the greatest soldier in history along with a man who is a walking alien Armada to make sure that didn't happen.
Steve Rogers: Soldiers trust each other, that's what makes it an army. Not a bunch of guys running around and shooting guns.
Nick Fury: The last time I trusted someone, I lost an eye. Look, I didn't want you doing anything you weren't comfortable with. Agent Romanoff is comfortable with everything.
Steve Rogers: I can't lead a mission when the people I'm leading have missions of their owns.
Nick Fury: It's called compartmentalization. Nobody spills the secrets because nobody knows them all.
Steve Rogers: Except you.
Nick Fury: You're wrong about me. I do share. I'm nice like that.[Fury steps into an elevator with Steve following behind him]
Nick Fury: Insight bay.SHIELD Computer: Captain Rogers does not have clearance for Project Insight.Nick Fury: Director override, Fury, Nicholas J.SHIELD Computer: Confirmed.[the elevator starts moving down]
Steve Rogers: You know, they used to play music.
Nick Fury: Yeah. My grandfather operated one of these things for forty years. My granddad worked in a nice building, he got good tips. He'd walk home every night, roll of ones stuffed in his lunch bag. He'd say "hi", people would say hi back. Time went on, neighborhood got rougher. He'd say "Hi", they'd say, "Keep on steppin'." Granddad got to grippin' that lunch bag a little tighter.
Steve Rogers: Did he ever get mugged?
Nick Fury: Every week some punk would say, "What's in the bag?"
Steve Rogers: What did he do?
Nick Fury: He'd show 'em. Bunch of crumpled ones and loaded .22 Magnum.[Fury smiles]
Nick Fury: Granddad loved people. But he didn't trust them very much.[as they continue to ride down the elevator Steve notices the giant Helicarriers]
Nick Fury: Yeah, I know. They're a little bit bigger than a .22.[as Fury shows Steve round]
Nick Fury: This is Project Insight. Three next generation Helicarriers synced to a network of targeting satellites.
Steve Rogers: Launched from the Lemurian Star.
Nick Fury: Once we get them in the air they never need to come down. Continuous suborbital flight courtesy of our new repulsor engines.
Steve Rogers: Stark?
Nick Fury: Well, he had a few suggestions once he got an up close look at our old turbines. These new long range precision guns can eliminate a thousand hostiles a minute. The satellites can read a terrorist's DNA before he steps outside his spider hole. We gonna neutralize a lot of threats before they even happen.
Steve Rogers: I thought the punishment usually came after the crime.
Nick Fury: We can't afford to wait that long.
Steve Rogers: Who's "we"?
Nick Fury: After New York, I convinced the World Security Council we needed a quantum surge in threat analysis. For once we're way ahead of the curve.
Steve Rogers: By holding a gun at everyone on Earth and calling it protection.
Nick Fury: You know, I read those SSR files. Greatest generation? You guys did some nasty stuff.
Steve Rogers: Yeah, we compromised. Sometimes in ways that made us not sleep so well. But we did it so the people could be free. This isn't freedom, this is fear.
Nick Fury: SHIELD takes the world as it is, not as we'd like it to be. It's getting damn near past time for you to get with that program, Cap.
Steve Rogers: Don't hold your breath.[Steve turns and walks off towards the parking lot]
Steve's Appartment
Ben after finishing his last mission which is almost got compromised is now sitting on the sofa watching TV with a bored expression on his face.
Ben: Well its official I am bored...(he then look to his watch showing its 10 A.M.)'Steve haven't arrived yet maybe still at The Triskelion' I should take a walk in the park and maybe grab something to eat.
Then he went to bath and after a few minutes he get dressed, he is wearing a bule jeans with white half t-shirt along with Black full sleves jacket, making sure to hide his gauntlet like watch, and then he left the the appartment.
After walking for about fifteen minutes a he found a beautiful pizza restaurant known as Ray's Pizza in 27 Prince Street. He then gets inside the resturant and found a quite place to eat. After a few moments a waitress come up to him for order.
Waitress: Whats your order sir.... 'Wow he is so handsome'{side note from now on I will quote the thought in 'this'}.
Ben: Well two pepperoni pizza please beautiful (winking at the waitress)
Waitress: (blushing) y-yes s-sir your order will be delivered shortly.
Ben: Well I can wait if i can see a beautiful girl like you.
Now the Waitress has become more redder than a freaking tomato and leaves the place quickly inorder to hide her blushing. While this was going on unknown to both Ben and the Waitress they have been watched by six peoples who's attention is more particularly on Ben.
Person1: Should we do it now?
Person2: No there are too much people watching.
Person3: I don't understand what does he have that requires HYDRA'S attention sir.
Leader: He has something that will help HYDRA to fulfill its mission.
Person4: What does he have if you don't mind me asking sir.
Leader:(cold tone) Classified.
All the person become to terrified by the tone of their Leader.
Person4:(scared)Y-yes s-sir.
Leader: We will wait for Him to go to a less crowed area and then we will strike. 'soon Hydra will rule the world.'
All person:(low tone) yes sir.
The order is now served and Ben is devouring his food. Though there are certain unknown kind of feeling in the pit of Ben's stomach that he can't let that go. Feeling as if he is being watched. Not knowing that Ben's gut feeling is as ture as the sky itself he continues to eat his food.
STEVE'S APPARTMENT
Its half an hour since Steve reached his appartment. But there are still to much things that going on in Steve's mind like is he doing the right job by joining the SHIELD? can Fury be trusted? because his actions on previous mission has proves it otherwise. Sighing he puts the thoughts away for now and enter his appartment, he looked around the room but couldn't find Ben. He then sits on his sofa and takes a an old compass from his pocket he opens the compass and there is an photo on the other side of the compass. the photo contains the image of an stunningly beautiful women in her mid thirties, he looks at the image and for some moments as he got lost in trance.
Steve: 'its hasbeen month since I last visited her.'
Steve then undress himself and went to bath and after sometime he walks out of the bathroom and dressed himself, wearing a black jeans along with a full sleves pink shrit and a pair of casual shoes. He then lefts his appartment to meet the same woman in the photo.
WHERE'S BEN AT
Ben while eating his food slowly and conversing with the same girl from before, who Ben after their conversation has learned that she is not a Waitress and that she is just helping her friend who is suffering from pneumonia and that she is just taken her place temporary.
Ben: I see so you are very sweet and nice girl to do something like that for your friend.
Girl:(blushing)Thanks.
Ben: But I still don't get your name.
Girl:(embarrassed) How foolish i am we are conversing for like what 20 minutes and still we haven't introduced ourselves.
BEN: Well we can start from now I am Ben Ben Tennyson.
Girl: My name is Gwen Stacy.
Ben after hearing that name remember the Gwen in his world, it hasbeen six month and still no way for him to get back home. Its just created a nostalgic feeling in his heart, he knows he will be able to go back into his universe but still he cannot shake off the feeling of what if he stays in this world for the rest of his life. Gwen after seeing Ben is spacing out snaps him out of his thoughts.
Gwen: (worried)Ben are you all right?
Ben: (snaping out of his thoughts)Yeah i am fine its just that your name remind me of my cousin.
Gwen: You missed her don't you?
Ben: Yeah its been months since I last saw her.
Gwen: Then you should visit her she also must be missing you.
Ben: (nervously)Its kinda complecated she lives far away from from the City, and I also cannot just take leave from my job since I am new.
Gwen: Hhmmm. Then you should call her I think she will be very happy to talk to you.
Ben:(lying) Yeah I will today.'if only could you knew that no kind of technology can make me talk to her.'
Ben:(looks in his other watch) Its getting late, I should get going.
Gwen:(upset)Yeah.... 'Why am i so upset?'
Ben: It was a nice meeting you Gwen.
Gwen:(smiles) me to. we should meet again sometime.
Ben: It will be my pleasure.
Gwen: Give me your phone?
Ben: What?
Gwen: your phone.
Ben gives her his phone and Gwen types certain numbers.
Gwen: This is my number whenever you feel bored or want to hangout just call me.
Ben:(smile) I will thanks.
After that Ben and Gwen said their good byes and Ben leave the resturant. But unknown to Ben the six figures still following him not far behind.
Hydra Soldier1: Sir do we attack now?
Leader: No this place is secured by security cameras. we can't do anything here.
Hydra Soldier2: But sir he is getting away.
Leader: For now We will just wait follow him.
ALL Hydra Soldier: Yes sir.
Leader: ' soon the Ultramatrix will be ours Ben Tennyson.'
