1 Chapter 1

I've never quite understood love, but that again who does these days. In the olden days, they show love as an easy-going thing. It's all in those stupid romance books. Honest to say... I'm a romantic at heart and love it. I don't think anyone will fully understand but then again who wants to understand love. Understanding something like love takes all the mystery away... all the long-awaited magic.

The brush of cold air on my cheek brought me back. "Why am I not dead? What's happening?" Something was wrong. I felt it… "Why do I feel like I'm being held?" I slowly opened my eyes and looked up.

"Who in the hell are you?!" A man was holding me… and he was flying.

He looked down at me with these midnight blue eyes that seem to bore into me, searching me.

"Don't worry; I'll explain it all to you once we hit the ground." He said smoothly.

If I didn't know better he was trying to control me with his voice. That smooth drawl, watery to every word…

'Great a flying lady's man is carrying me…' I thought.

But his voice did bring my unsatisfied desires to the surface and I couldn't help but blush. 'Usually, I can keep control but o God… great.'

He chuckled like he understood my sudden blush, my sudden wanting for him. Something drew me though, the smell of blood, and it smelled tasty.

'Okay… what's going on, I want blood. That blood running from his cut looks yummy maybe I'll….' I licked the small trail of blood that was flowing down his arm. I wanted more of it, more of his blood. Before I knew it I sunk my teeth into his arm.

I heard him says something like "Wait till we get onto the ground."

But I wanted that blood too much. Something told me not to take a lot so I didn't. I smiled though; I smiled at the taste of his blood filling my mouth.

Harsh breathing, the smell of dirt, moans, and the straddling position I was in brought me back to what I was doing. He seemed to be in full pleasure.

"Close the mark with your tongue." He moaned.

I kept my eyes on him as I titled my head and flicked my tongue a crossed the pinpoints.

'Pinpoints?' I couldn't help but wonder.

"Don't look so surprised, you were born to be a vampire." His breathing had gone back to normal.

"Did I just suck blood?" I asked looking at him.

He laughed a little, "Of course you just did. What did you think you were doing?"

"Well… I thought… I thought I was supposed to be dead!" I yelled it.

'Why wasn't I dead, I mean the last thing I remember is swallowing the sleeping pills and cutting my wrists, and then I wake up in the freakin' air!' I thought to myself

"Well, technically you are dead. Part of the living dead. You're a vampire now." He said this with a smile.

I looked down at him with my mouth dropped, "I'm a vampire but how? I thought vampires could only change humans if they were alive?" I said to him.

"I don't know how it happened. I was just hunting and smelled something sweet; your blood. You were dead, though. Your blood smelled too sweet to resist so I drank from you. Then you started moving like you were alive and I knew I changed you." He looked to the side lost in thought, but then he suddenly looked at me with hungry in his eyes. I was also becoming more aware of the growing hardness under me.

"Um… I think I'll be getting off of you now." I said shifting to get off, but before I could he grabbed my wrists and flipped me over.

"Now that you're done, it's my turn to feed." He said in a husky voice.

"What are you talking about?" I said panicky.

"That's how it is, with vampires…" He said as he moved towards my neck.

I could feel his fangs lightly scrape against my neck. It sent shivers down my spine.

"You suck my blood, and I…" I felt his tongue playfully lick my neck, "get to suck your sweet blood." He said, his voice growing deeper.

His fangs sank deep into my vein as I felt him rub his groin against me recklessly. The pleasure shot threw me unexpectedly and I couldn't help but moan. That caused him to grinned harder against me and I moaned again. I kept breathing heavily as he licked his tongue against me, watching me the whole time.

He smiled, "Such sweet blood for a vampire, usually only humans taste that sweet." He licked his lips and moved off of me then he picked me up into his arms.

I was too stunned to do anything, really to even think. My body was still mildly on fire. Unsatisfied.

"We better get to my castle before the sun rises." He said this as he starting to take off.

'I thought vampires could turn into bats… I thought that was the only way they could fly. I didn't know they could fly like this.' I yawned and watched the ground pass by as I slowly fell asleep in his arm.

"Damnit! You were supposed to find and change her before he did! Now we'll never have our way!" a dark figure screamed from standing beside a pond.

"But Master, all I smelled was dead blood. So I thought I couldn't change her." a smaller timid shadow said

The dark figure smacked the smaller figure upside the head. "Fool! What did I tell you about her?!"

"That, her wanting to be dead can revive her." The smaller figure said rubbing the back of his head.

"Exactly, her blood smelled dead because she is dead but, it also smells sweet like a human." The dark figure said in a dreamy voice.

"Sir, her blood didn't smell sweet to me, it only smelled dead." The smaller figure said in defines.
