22 Leaving

Before I left the camp I said goodbye to General Lee, he had me go across the the trail to a dock. The dock was a very small fort that honestly could only hold about 50 people. It was basically just a supply dock. However due to needing to travel across the ocean to the fire nation main land I needed to get on a boat. The boat was much larger then the fort, almost looking like a yacht or a cruise ship. It was still very much a military vessel, but only used for transport.

I remembered General Lee's goodbye. "Remember when you get there, don't let anyone check your bag it will likely be a set up. Some of the other Prodigies will be on the ship already, some might try to trick you out of the competition. Goodbye and Goodluck Orin, and get better at Paisho."

His words made sense I puled my bag higher on my shoulders and turn to my current company.

"Look at that ship! hey! Hey! Is this thing the TS11!"

"Phil I don't think the dock worker will know the ship model of the ships that dock here. Honestly it is weird you know the ship model!"

The troublesome trio had come with me to escort me to the dock. "You guys were the ones who brought me to the camp and now you guys are the ones who brought me out."

"Wasn't there like 6 other soldiers who cam with us when we got transferred."

"Thanks Greg, for pointing that out."

"Haha sorry, force of habit. Dave grab Phil, we have to say goodbye."

The three of them grouped up looked into their own bags. Pulling out a sack they handed it over.

"It was your idea to make jerky out of the meat and its actually really good."

i grabbed the bag from Dave, realizing it was like a pound of beef jerky. I had to ask, "How did you make so much of it?"

They looked at each other and shrugged, "Well that's a secret, but a part of has something to do with bending. Fire bending makes it awfully conveniently when cooking anything."

"Fair enough i guess." I looked down to the ground, unsure how to say goodbye...These were honestly my friends. They certainly had there moments, ultimately it was Phil who spoke up.

"I hear that there's a 57% chance to meet old friends when traveling over seas. That might be just a rumor, but I think we are likely to meet again."

"That's just a random number you came up with right?" Sighing I smiled, "I'll take it though, see you guys with a 57% chance later then!" I waved to them as a climbed onto the boat just as the dock attendant began unhooking the Anchorage.

They waved back and Dave even did a fake over-dramatic cry. It ultimately made me laugh as he pushed Phil over and almost knocked Greg over as well before he moved out of the way.

I would certainly miss them....

I checked the friendship bar I had with them, it felt low. I assume that was because of a secret about their family or origins. I never saw Greg Fire bend, i knew Phil and Dave could though. One day I would get them to tell me, once they did it was likely they would max out.

I looked at the cage

<Lime Reputation 3/100>

<Lime Obedience 0/100>

Lime had relation ship bars as well, I had gain some reputation with Lime it also had no obedience. Reputation was how well something liked me, and Obedience was how likely it would follow my demands. A relatively simple set up, hopefully dog training with dachshunds was enough to train a Bull Sloth.

I had a pet Dachshund as a kid and trained him myself to do tricks. Now it seemed I would do it again, how well it would work. I would have about a month to see.

I grabbed his cage and brought it along to my room, it seemed only 5/30 prodigies were on the ship so far. The Ship would be going along the earth colonies and camps gather the ones out here before making its way to the Fire nation mainland.

"Such a cliche competition, hopefully I can meet some friends."

A fat...blob of a person I wasn't sure to call a kid or an adult laughed. "Heh! I bet you need friends to carry you along this competition. Your Tiny!"

So it seems began my first annoyance. I suppose should become my oldself. When I was in high school, I was Sir Toxic Lord himself. A Edgelord that I was unhappy to be called, at the time I had always sent some nasty comebacks at people. Later I changed my clothes and smiled a lot more and people assumed I was a different person.

"Are you sure your a even a prodigy? You look like your only skill is to eat and that might not even be a skill. Just a condition of you deepthroating your food like a homosexual cowboy behind a barn."

"WHY YOU! wait what's a cowboy?"

"I just...I just..."

One thing I learned is you can't insult stupid, I closed the door on the pilsbury doh boy and shook my head. Stupid can always shrug off a insult, he even recognized it as a insult and then stopped to question what a cowboy was.

"Well Lime, hopefully any other aggressors I get will be more susceptible to my barbs."

Lime stirred under the blanket and a pop up shown.

<Lime Reputation +0.5>

"Wow, not even a full point. Brutal."

I sighed jumping onto the bed, to take a nap.

-----For future reference, if you got any funny insult I don't mind using them later on. I hope some of you get a laugh out of the ones I come up with though. Also thanks person who gave me the proper word I was looking for with Anchorage.-----
