20 Vaatu

When azula woke up, she felt that it's time to move on. She went to where her brother is and knocked on the door. "Come in" shouted Zuko. Azula entered and saw his brother on the bed. "What's up Lala?" "I'm going to leave this place. It is time." "Do you really have to leave now? Will you ever come back?" Zuko asked with sadness. "Yes. I've done everything I could here. I will come back someday... maybe... if the strength and immortality I gave you ever leaves your body, then that means something bad happened to me. Though I highly doubt that's ever gonna happen."

Azula looked at her brother who has a lost look on his face. It saddened her a little bit but she can always come back someday. She made final goodbyes with Zuko and her uncle and after wards left the fire nation.

"So how do I find Vaatu?" Asked azula to orphis. "We will both have to flood this world with our chi. Expel the entirety of your chi and condense it into your hands. You will be stationed at the North Pole while I'll be at the south. Once I give the signal, send the condensed form of your chi towards my location and I will do the same to yours. Once our chi collides, it'll create a crack on the barrier that separates the spiritual and physical world. That crack will act as the portal which will last for a few hours until it mends itself. However nobody else will be able to go inside it as it is hidden from view. Unless you're the avatar or the spirits themself, then no mortal eyes can see that crack."

"Ok so I just have to send all my raw chi towards yours got it." Azula listened and can't help but shake her head. 'What is this dragon ball? Kamehamehaw style?' She thought in her head. "You know I hear your thoughts right? If you have a better idea, then let me know." Said orphis in annoyance.

"Haha I'm just saying it in my head, no need to sound so annoyed. Who told you to listen to my thoughts 24/7 anyways." Azula teases orphis. "Anyways lets do this alright. The sooner we do this, the sooner we get outta this place and travel other universe." Azula then flew straight to North Pole.

Arriving at the spiritual oasis of the North Pole, she started meditating while standing. She focused her entire chi, which looked endless due to the boost she got from orphis, and to her hands. Soon a a dark chi started appearing on her hands and a very oppressive aura started to manifest around the entire northern pole. Same thing was happening in the South Pole. Because of this, the tribes in said place started panicking and those who had weaker will started kneeling down due to the oppressive aura.

After a few minutes of gathering the chi and condensing it, orphis told azula that it was time to send it towards him while he'll send his towards her. Azula blasted her chi towards south and people saw a black beam of light being shot towards the south. Both chi soon clashed in the middle and the spiritual energy of the world started increasing. The shockwave of the clash of chi separated the ocean and soon a mirror breaking sound was heard.

People all around the world were greatly scared for what they're feeling. First the spiritual energy started increasing. Then an oppressive aura started increasing. Now a Loud mirror breaking was heard. They didn't know what was happening. The two culprits who was responsible for what the world was experiencing were currently heading towards the crack in space.

"So this is it?" "Yes. Now let's go inside." Orphis wnent back inside azula's mindscape and azula entered the crack in space. When she entered, she couldn't help but be surprised at what she saw. 'This is totally different from the show. Why is this place colorless. Like I'm in a black and white tv?' "That's because the harmonic convergence hasn't happened. Without it, this part of spiritual world where Vaatu is sealed will be void of all color. Even time has no meaning here. The harmonic convergence helps weakens the barrier between spiritual and physical world. Because of planets aligning, the spiritual energy in each planet enters a state of harmony, which in turn, goes into the spiritual world where Vaatu is sealed. This also helps restore the place that seals Vaatu. That reason why right now this place looks like what you mentioned is because it is almost depleted of spiritual energy. It's sort of an hour glass for when the harmonic convergence will happen.

Walking a few distance away from the portal, Azula immediately saw a dead tree with Vaatu sealed inside. She could feel the power of darkness Vaatu holds and felt extremely confused. "Why does this spirit feel so weak?" Asked Azula to Orphis. "It's because Vaatu has been sealed for so long. The only time it can replenish it's chi is when the convergence happen. After that, it will use the stored chi to constantly heal itself from deteriorating. You also absorbed Raava thus, removing the ability of Vaatu to be reborn again once it dies." Answered Orphis.

Hearing the answer from orphis, Azula was again met with a question inside her head. "Then why did Vaatu not just let itself be killed so that it can be reborn through Raava?" Orphis laughed when he heard the question. "Because Raava merged with a human soul, Vaatu will have an extremely hard time of being reborn. It will also have a weaker power since the avatar will absorb most of it's power once it is reborn through the light spirit." Hearing the answer of her question, Azula nodded in understanding.

Azula continued walking near the dead looking tree and once she's beside it, she transformed her arm into a whip, ready to strike Vaatu. She pierced the spirit using the blade of the whip and Vaatu screamed and woke up weakly. "W-Who are you?" but before Azula could reply, Vaatu was absorbed and was gone in this world for good. When Azula absorbed the power of the spirit of darkness and chaos, she suffered extreme pain that goes all the way back to her very being. It's a kind of pain she couldn't describe very well. "You must keep your will strong and hold on to it. If you fail, Vaatu will take over and you will lose yourself." Said Orphis. Azula hearing this cursed in her mind but couldn't say anything in reply due to the pain she's feeling and could only grit her teeth. After what felt like eternity of torture, Azula finally couldn't handle the pain any longer and lost consciousness.
