2 The Virus( time skip)

Time flew by and now I'm 2 years old. While growing up, there was this feeling inside me that made me anxious. I felt something growing and trying to unshackle itself. I couldn't quite pinpoint what it was but over time, I grew accustomed to the feeling enough to ignore it. However, I knew deep down that someday, it will show itself and I was right.

During one of our family outings on ember island, my brother and I were playing on the beach when I noticed him doing something near the water. I went to him and saw him trying to flip a huge turtle crab and slipped. A wave big enough swallowed him and carried him to a deeper part of the water and caused me and my parents to panic. My father was able to save him, but my parents failed to realize what I saw happening on my body.

In my panic, my arm turned black with blood red lining that glows like a lava and shot out to the turtle crab nearby and slowly retracted to me while the turtle crab suddenly was being swallowed by my body. I'm my surprise, I yelped which caused my parents to look behind and see what's wrong with me. Thankfully, my body finished absorbing the turtle crab and returned back to normal but due to the information that suddenly appeared in my head, I clutched it and squatted down causing my parents to worry.

Ursa: "what's wrong dear? What happened? Did you hit your head? What's going on?

Azula: "I'm alright mom, i just felt pain on my head, but it's gone now."

Ursa: " are you sure sweet heart? Do you need to us to call our family healer?"

I spent more time trying to convince her I'm alright while we were rushing my brother to our family healer and finally was able get her off my back. I went back to my room to ponder about the new ability I found out. I have the Blacklight Virus in me. But how? How did I end up having that goddamn virus that ended up killing me? This confused me but at the same time made me excited.

With this ability, I'm not only a fire bender, but also an immortal considering how Alex Mercer didn't even die even though bullets went through him. Even getting decapitated didn't kill him. I'll also have super speed and strength and probably my senses will be more developed. However, how come I can't feel any of these? Maybe it's not that strong yet. Alex Mercer did kill a lot of people and probably absorb them too. Will I have to do that?

That's when I remembered I absorbed the turtle crab. I thought of growing a shell on my back and to my surprised I really did. This made me grin as I saw myself on the mirror. I laughed because I really looked stupid with a shell on my back.

'Since I have the Blacklight Virus, maybe I can absorb the other tribes elemental bending too. I can only imagine being able to bend other elements like the avatar. But I need to start learning how to bend fire first and then lightning. After I mastered that, I need to find that blood bender who's located here in firenation, and then I'll try to see if I can water bend.'

Another 4 years passed by and Azula is now 6 years old. When she was nearing the age of 3, she suddenly released fire from her fist while fighting hand to hand combat with her instructor. I know to her family, she killed and absorbed one of the wanted fire bender in their prison. She was able to sneak inside when she turned herself into a fly and flew inside. After that, she practiced by herself and planned to show and accidental fire bending during one of her trainings when she's nearing the age of 3.

Her parents was happy for her even though she could feel something amiss between her father and mother. Although she knew that her mother's going to be banished, she didn't care much since her focus is to gain more power. She trained harder everyday and gradually showed her talent on fire bending, which is to the delight of the fire lord. She did like her brother so she helped him secretly while training in order to control his Firebending soon.

While she was 4 and a half years old, she asked her father to teach her how to bend lightning when she saw her father and uncle Iroh using it during one of their spars. At first her father was shocked to see her interest and a little bit worried of her harming herself since she's going to be a great spawn for him, but thinking back at the genius his daughter had shown him when it comes to fire bending made him teach her how to bend lightning.
