4 Hypnotism

Azula POV

A few days passed since I my flames changed to blue flames. As I was thinking about my future plans, I heard a knock on my door and a servant came in. "Princess Azula, Fire lord Ozai is summoning you to the throne room and you are required to go as soon as possible." Said the servant. "Okay."

I went to the throne room and saw my father at the center without my mother. I didn't know where she was, but I still started walking towards him. As I was nearing him, the fire coming from behind the throne went out and all of a sudden, I hear rustling from nearby and something sharp was stabbed through my neck. After that, my vision was starting to grow blurry and I saw my father walking towards me.

"You are the first wielded of the azure flames since centuries ago and I expect great things from you. However, you need to not have free will and o my serve me as to not hinder any plans that I will have." Said Ozai to me. After that he started to whisper something vague in my ear but after a few minutes, my strength grew and my vision was fine again. I could remember the vague words he said which was telling me that I will obey him and I will seek his approval at all times and I will never betray him.

After gaining clarity, I knew I needed to stay away from him and my I instincts kick in making my arms turn into a sharp blade. Ozai and the people nearby were surprised but what they saw and some were even shivering in fear. I glared at them and Ozai became furious. "What is that on your arm? What are you?" Said Ozai. 'So this is why she was a crazy in the tv show.' I thought after. I ignored Ozai and started backing out towards the exit. I knew they will attack me and I saw the flames behind Ozai start dimming. This time I was prepared and my senses were heightening. Even though I still can't see in the dark, I can hear the footsteps and the feel the tremor on the ground which helped me pinpoint where the enemies are.

I slowly backed out while defended or redirected flames and needles flying towards me. Due to me training in secret in my courtyard, I was able to bend flames while my arm is still on its blade form. Which helped me redirect the flames they are firing towards me and block the needles that flying to me. I finally made it to the exit and before leaving, I breathe a huge lightning breath towards the entrance and made a blue fire wall afterwards to stall them. Afterwards, I dashed as fast as I could and when I couldn't sense anybody, transformed myself into someone else. I walked towards my brothers training ground and saw him training with uncle Iroh. I transformed back to my own body which surprised both my brother and uncle.

"Who are you!? What are you?!" Said both men. "Zuzu, uncle, it's me Azula. This is an ability of mine I discovered. Please help me! We're in danger. Father was trying to hypnotize me into becoming an obedient child only to him and I think he's planning something which ll cause a Great War in the 4 nations." I told them in a hurry. Uncle was taken aback and my brother was still skeptical. "Never mind. I wanted to warn you both to please be careful of Ozai. He is not to be trusted anymore. I couldn't find mom anywhere and he's hunting me down. I'll leave this place and hopefully we see each other again. I do not want to be a puppet for Ozai." I told them and transformed again into one of our servants I consumed in secret.

I quickly left without looking back. I'm surprised uncle and Zuzu didn't try to stop me but that worked all out in my favor. Walking faster out of the palace, I slowly reached the market area. There I went to the alley and made many turns before finding my self near the exit of the market. I have no idea where I am since I do t have a map to guide me. I never really went out before so I don't know the market place like the back of my hand. I returned to the alley way and tried to sense if there's anybody nearby. Sensing no one, I transformed myself into a bird and flew off. Seeing the entirety of the town, I went towards the port.

Flying for a while, I noticed that the sky was getting darker so I looked for a place I could stay the night and I saw a single building which looked very familiar to me. I went towards it and transformed behind the building and went to the front. When I was about to knock, the door opened and an old lady came out with a surprised look and smiled. "Hello sweetie, you're so young. You shouldn't be waking around alone at this time of day. What if someone with bad intentions came and followed you?" She said. Looking at her features and remembering where I was, I remembered who this old kind looking lady is. Only she's not so kind.

This old lady is none other than the blood bender who was supposed to teach Katara her blood bending skill. Only, I met her first so it's me who's going to benefit to this. I think. I'm not really sure if I'm able to water bend once I consume someone who's other bender.

I looked back to the old lady and started acting. (Sniff sniff) "my parents are dead. I was being chased by big scary people. I hid in the forest and after a while came out and started walking from that way. I saw this house and thought maybe there's someone who can help me. But I didn't know it was just an old kind lady. I'm sorry for disturbing you."

I said this while fake crying. I honestly don't know how I was able to produce tears, but it all worked out in my favor. "Ahh shh poor child don't cry, come inside. Being out here, the big scary guys might see us and decides to attack. Hurry." She slammed the door and my I couldn't help but grin. "Old lady you're so kind." I proceed to hug her and she knelt to hug her back. As I was walking, I turned my hand into a sharp spear and since her eyes were closed expecting a hug, she didn't noticed that tonight will be the last night of her life. I stabbed her and before she could scream, she was absorbed in my body. While that was happening, memories started flowing in my mind and for some reason I could filter the ones I wanted to learn and the ones I don't. I went to the section of water bending and blood bending and after learning everything, Changed my look into that of the old lady, only I made her young again.

To test if I could bend water, I swiftly made my way to the bathroom and filled the bucket with water. Slowly I concentrated and began to perform the water bending martial arts. At first I couldn't feel a connection to the water, but after a few hours of trying, I saw the water slowly sway. I grew excited and did everything again and this time, I could levitate the water out of the bucket. I slowly made it surround me and then turned it into droplets. After that I tried making it make shapes but my concentration was broken a bit and the water fell down. I didn't care about that since I am pretty tired of practicing so I ended my Training and since it's already dark, I cleaned up a bit and went to sleep.
