9 Air Temple and misunderstanding

Azula stayed at the south water tribe for a few more days and he finally decided to say her goodbyes. She told Katara and sokka that she will be leaving with her family and headed towards north water tribe. After telling the siblings her plan, she saw the struggling faces of them two. "What's wrong?" She asked the siblings after contemplating for a while. "It's just... I want to..." muttered Katara.

"Out with it Katara. If you have something to say, say it. Stop beating around the bush for Raava's sake." Azula said impatiently. "Okay jeez... I want to go with you. I want to further earn and improve my water bending and the o my way I can do that is to learn from a master. And the only masters of water bending alive is inside the Northern water tribe." She said in one breath with a determined look. Hearing all this cause sokka to frown and started debating with her. Not backing down, Katara lashed out in full verbal aggressiveness and even told sokka that if he still co to use nagging, she will freeze him and leave him forever which of course scared the hell out of him and finally relented.

Azula agreed and after another 2 days, they left. Iroh told everyone that he will be staying and continue sailing to keep the appearance that he's still searching for his niece. He knows that someone was sent after him and his nephew to be monitored so that if they do find his nephew, the fire lord will know immediately. Azula and zuko noded and mounted Shou which threw Zuko off guard after seeing him for the first time.

"Where did you get this?" Whispered Zuko to Azula. She gave him a knowing look and he realized from where she got the bison. Although what he doesn't know is that the bison is technically Azula herself or a clone of herself. "Yup yip" said Azula and Shou floated in the air. After waving a few more times and Katara waving and shouting goodbyes to her brother and people.

"Katara wait!!! I want to go too!" "Don't leave me here..." yelled sokka whose body is currently stuck to the ground frozen while leaving his head free to be able to breathe to the point he's starting to tear up. Seeing this, made the rest laughed hysterically and Katara unfroze him and they let him climb to Shou's back. "That wasn't nice. I totally thought you guys were gonna leave me here. Especially you Katara. I can't believe you're going to leave your brother here by himself." Yelled sokka angrily.

Zuko, starting to get annoyed, told sokka to shut up or else he will be left behind, which made the loud sokka shut up completely. This made the two girls in the group laugh hysterically again. Hearing the laughter coming from Azula, zuko was once again in bliss and he stared at her with a grin which was felt by Azula and was creeped out.

"I think I broke this guy a bit. Hey Zuzu why are you staring at me with a grin like that?"

Hearing the question, Zuko was surprised since he didn't even know he was doing that kind of thing. "We have a siscon in the house" yelled sokka which in turn made Zuko turn so red his faces looked like it's about to explode from embarrassment and for Katara to burst into another fit of laughter.

'I haven't had fun in so long. I don't remember the last time I had a genuine fun.' Thought Azula. Even though she's a bit creeped out by zuko's sister complex, she felt that it was a genuine overprotectiveness of zuko towards his only sister, and this warmed her heart a bit. She decided to take away some of the cons of her virus that she gave him but still left the connection so if one day, zuko endangers her life which is highly unlikely, she'll have a fail safe she can use.

After a few more hours of flying, Zuko noticed some mountains and a land on their path. A closer look and they can see some temples around and this made them realize that they are near the air Nomads' temples. They decided to land and see what's up. Mostly sokka since he said that he's really hungry so after nagging a few more, they were forced to land.

At the air nomads' grounds, they could see how desolate the area is. Few more walking and they saw a few human remains and the uniform of the fire nation soldiers. Katara became enraged and glared at zuko and Azula. Noticing this, the fire siblings stared back at her.

"What?" Asked Azula. Realizing her mistake, Katara apologized. "Sorry. I know it's not you guys' fault, but I can't exactly help but be mad at you even knowing that it wasn't your fault for being born in the fire nation."

"That's ridiculous. We've told you our story and you still think we had a part in this?!" Said zuko angrily and the temperature started to rise a bit.

"Enough!" Yelled Azula which calmed the two a bit down

"Fighting now won't change a thing. Katara, I know your situation but playing the blaming games won't help you nor help the already dead. Unless you can also bend time, we deal with what we have and what we will get in the future. Zuko you need to control that attitude of yours. Fire nation committed a genocide so it is katara's right to be mad at the fire nation. We are part of it so there's nothing we can do with that. Zuko hearing Azula call his real name instead of Zuzu made him shiver. He knows that His Lala is angered by either his outburst or katara's blaming or both. So he made a decision to simmer down and stayed quiet.

"Hey guys we should all relax. Take a chill pill yo." Sokka tried to lighten up the mood, but wasn't successful. He stayed quiet the entire debate since adding to the heat between three benders when he's only a regular guy wasn't the best idea, lest he suffered their wrath. So now that the situation is slightly alleviated, he decided to make a comment to lighten the mood.

"I'm really sorry Lala." Said Katara which earned her a glare from Azula and Zuko.

"Katara never call me Lala."

"Katara don't call her Lala."

Said the fire siblings in unison. Which made them look at each other and then back to Katara.

"Zuko is the first and last who will ever call me Lala. That's his right as my brother. The same way I will never allow anybody to call him Zuzu. You on the other hand, is someone whom I just met. Yes you saved me from the ice, and I'm grateful, but nobody asked you to do that. So please don't ever call me that again." Azula told this to Katara and then left which made zuko grin and since he noticed his facial muscle turning into a grin, he swiftly turned around away from prying eyes of the people with him and followed Azula from behind.

This sentence made Katara sad because she thought that her outburst caused Azula and zuko to put a wall between their friendship. She didn't want that to happen because ever since meeting with Azula, her life started to brighten up. She feels that staying with Azula will give more adventures and happiness to her rather than staying at the tribe. So when she felt the wall between her and azula's friendship being built, she became distressed and tested up in panic.

Sokka seeing all this didn't know what to do. He's never seen Katara cry ever since their mother's death. So seeing her tearing up made him panic as well. "Katara. Don't cry. I'm sure she was just frustrated. She'll be alright ones she's cooled down." He tried to assured Katara which made her nod to him and hugged him.

"Thank you Sokka. Ever since our mother's death you've always been there for me. Even though you're so annoying and you always make me do everything and even do your laundry. Have you smelled your socks? It smelled like sewers from hell. Don't even get me started with your underwear? Why does it stink like dead fish?" If this was a pokemon game, there will be an announcement it's a one hit ko, sokka fainted. "Hey no need to say all those. Let's go and find a place to rest." Sokka said in a rush then ran off to the other siblings. "Haha. Really though. Thanks a lot big brother. Even though that's how you are, I wouldn't ask for a different brother. You're the best brother I could ask for." Katara whispered in the air and then started walking towards the rest.
