21 Chapter 19: Soul Shards

Camille's POV

I woke up and get up. I looked around and I saw I'm in the forest where I met Gwendolyn and Shizune.

"Camille!" I heard her cute voice.

I looked at where I heard it and saw them.

"Hi" I said and smiled.

"You did great to the Finals! I'm so proud about it!" Shizune screamed.

"Thanks to you for helping me control it!" I replied.

"Why am I here?" I asked.

"A new training as a preparation for the upcoming battles outside" Gwendolyn answered and smiled.

"Can I take a little rest please?!" I requested. I'm so tired! Every part of my body is struggling! I can't even get up easily right after lying down! Maybe that's why the Healer wants me to sleep!

"Oh come on! You're not yet tired! You're just lazy!" she said and laughed.

"Hey! I'm not joking! Hmp!" I said and looked away.

"Yes you are! Because the Camille I know never gets tired! And that's why she's starting to win battles she encounter!" Shizune said. I looked at her smiling that made her smile too! And so, I tried to stand up.

"Fine" I said.

"That's my Master!" she said that surprised me.

"Master?!" I asked.

She just smiled and ran away slower than the past times I saw her. I wonder what she's hiding again!

I just sighed and then, we followed her and we ended up at a shady forest.

"Now what are we gonna do?!" I asked.

"With you as a Light Charmer, it's up to you how are you gonna use such ability go find and collect real shards scattered anywhere. And a tip, your intelligence and hardworking style, suits your training this time!" Gwendolyn answered.

"Why didn't tell me it's so easy?" I said and smirked. Well yes, it's so east to find anything whith my Light Charm.

"Then, make sure to find them in a single blow, you may begin!" she said and I heard a snap.

"How many are hidden? And how big are they?" I asked.

"You said it's easy! It's up to you!" she said.

"Fine!" I said and used my Lazer Emissions. And with the White Vision that Gwendolyn taught me before, I managed to let my lazer have it's own vision to see what's hiding behind such thing!

I aimed my Lazer Emissions everywhere and saw a shining shard of a glass.

Found one!

I used my Lazer to put a mark on it. I used to do the same to the others I saw.

Then, it was more than a hundred that I found in estimated five minutes!

I looked around and saw that there's nothing left! And so, I made a Light Bomb!

I put it in every corners that can reach each shard.

I crumpled my fist as a sign to activate the bombs as I distanced myself far enough!

Then, at the same time, each bomb blowed up the area and I saw the shards!

I smiled and looked at Gwendolyn.

"See? Told ya!" I screamed and smirked. But because of amazement, I tried to pick up the closest one to me!

And I'm shocked to see what happened next!

As I picked it up, it vanished! And something appeared that punched me in the face!

Because it's something surprising, I didn't manage to dodge it! I was thrown away!

And when I stopped moving backwards, every single shard in the battlefield became my clone! And the one who punched me is a clone herself.

How did this even happen?! What did they do?!

As I was fighting them, I screamed to Gwendolyn.

"Why are my clones in here?!" I shouted.

"It's the result of being too overconfident!" she replied.

"The what?!" I screamed and looked at them. I didn't even realize that I stopped moving so I got hit once again!

But this time is more painful! My right leg was kicked and at the same time my left hand was wounded by a Lazer!

I used Photoportation to somehow distance myself to them.

I am now here on a branch of a tree catching my breath while blood was dripping from my wounds!

I forced myself to blow them at once but I was too late!

As I look behind to estimate distances, a clone kicked me so hard that even made the branch I'm stepping at broke! It fall on the ground with me!

I didn't saw that coming!

Everyone gathered near me and hold me tight! I can't move! And I saw the clone who kicked me up the tree! As she's jumping down, I think of the only way to defeat them! I tried my best to contact and formed a bomb!

As her feet landed on my back, I activated the bomb once and all of them vanished at once!

Then, I saw myself with so many paces and bleeding wounds! I tried to stand up and looked at Gwendolyn.

"What just happened?!" I screamed.

"Didn't I told you find the 'real' shards? Then that means don't touch the fake ones because they have bad effects!" she said and smiled.

I looked at Shizune! With her eyebrows forming a volcano, I felt how she is worried to me.

"D-Don't worry. I'm fine" I said.

"T-Then how would I find the real shards?" I asked.

"If something is real, it's stronger than a fake!" she said and went away from me together with Shizune.

"Then that means I have to use my Light Charm with an additional effort!" I whispered.

I can't walk properly and my sight was a little bit shady because of my Light Bomb! But, Shizune believes in me! I must believe with myself too!

I used Lazer Emission with a doubled special ability! Even though I'm already using my strength because of too much production of my Charm, I didn't stop searching!

I found one with the help of the White Eye. I tried to examine if it's real this time. And I just noticed that it's a little bit shinier than the fake ones! This must be it!

I marked one of the tree's trunk thay has a shard in it amd search for more!

Then, I found many of them again that made me lose my strength! I fall down but I still didn't stop!

Gwendolyn and Shizune never said a word after they went away. I wonder if they're gonna help me!

But I guess not! So I must put myself an end to this!

I tried to find more! And when I saw that I found them all, I created Light Bombs and once again placed them in every corners. Then, I stepper away and activated it.

When it blew everything up, I saw many shards scattered everywhere. It even decrease half of the size of each one of them!

"Now what?!" I screamed.

"You really didn't listen to me huh? I said collect it!" she said.

"What?!" I complained.

"I said 'hardwork'!" she answered. So that means I have to pick them up one-by-one?!

Fine!

I picked them one by one by crawling on the ground.

"That's you I said your intelligence suits this training" she suddenly spoke.

"What's about that again?!" I complained.

"If you did this from the time you identified their locations, it would have been easier because they are bigger in sizes. It's easy to pick them up when they're huge in size rather than a size of grouped dust, isn't it?!" she said with a sassy voice that irritated me.

I just ignored it and picked up the shards one by one. When I picked them all up, I gave it to her with my weak arms.

"Camille, for this training, you could've learned about underestimating an event to happen without knowing it's effects!" she said. I looked away pretending that I'm irritated but the real is that, I'm embarrassed with my own reasons!

"I'm glad I could help you to accomplish an upcoming mission with the shards that has soul in it!" she said and smiled.

"Mission?!" I said and looked at her confusedly.

"Ahhhhhhhhh!" I heard Shizune screamed and grabbed her to see what's happening to her.

"What's wrong?!" I worriedly asked. I forgot my pain but just got worried of her suffering.

"Rescue me, Master!" she whispered and closed her eyes.

"Yes, I will! Just tell me what to do!' I screamed.

"Team up with them. Goodbye" she said and snapped her fingers that made me fall into another portal.

Wait! I didn't even understand it!

H-How could I help.if I don't know what's going on?!
