18 Chapter 16: Messed Up Mind

Camille's POV

*Crystal Dormitory

It's already night time. They'll be calling us sooner or later for dinner.

My door suddenly opened and I saw all of the Elites.

"Camille! Where have you been all this time?" Lexie asked worriedly.

"I'm just here. Why?" I answered.

"But we just came here maybe five minutes ago and you're not here!" Azalea said.

"Well I am now and that's what matters" I coldly answered. I'm a little but upset of them not telling me what they know of my mom's death.

"Fine. Well now that you're here please prepare yourself to be well disciplined when they call for dinner. You too, rest well. Because we know there's someone who's gonna destroy our moods today" Brylle said and rolled his eyes. What did he just said?

"Uhmm okay. We're leaving you here!" Aster screamed and they all went out leaving my door open.

You know what, you made me more upset when you leave my door open! Hmp! I closed my door and laid down my bed.

Well disciplined? Why? Am I not behaving as a disciplined person at the Dining Hall? Or does he mean to extend my discipline? I don't know.

Many stuffs are messing with my mind!

A few minutes later, they called me down and we went straight to the Dining Hall.

*Dining Hall

I looked around and there's no food at all. What are we gonna do?

We went to our table and I wondered why I our table was moved close to another one and was somehow separated to the other tables.

I was about to talk when Kyle told me to shush.

As the door opened, I saw people who wear expensive clothes. And the first man who entered got my attention. The same man I saw from the Headmaster's Office. Kings and Queens?!

Chefs and waiters are behind them. Wow! Special entrance huh?! So sassy!

They sat on our table.

Do I still need to sit with them.

Everyone looked at them with shining eyes. Well I say they're amazing but I'm not that obsessed of how cool they look!

"Good evening Students. As the Respective Rulers of the Kingdoms join our dinner, we will change it to a different style. Please behave well and tomorrow will be the introduction of them to the new students. Enjoy your meal" the old man said and walked away.

Everyone sat down and so as me. I looked at the Elites. They're more silent than they were before. I'm sitting between Brylle and Angel. And I'm shaking in fear because right in front of me was the man who punched my forehead but ended up hitting the wall.

"You must be Camille right?" a lady sitting right next to the scary man spoke. Are you talking to me?!

"Uhmm. Yes" I looked at Kyle on the side and he is smiling. And I got it.

"Your Highness" I answered and smiled.

Waiters started to serve food. So they won't let us get our foods huh?!

When they gave us food I looked at it and it's half the amount of the food that the Elites eat each day. Really?! This amount?! Right after skipping lunch and went through Assessments?

Atmosphere really changes.

I looked at the one who always stares at me. Why do you always stare at me? It's so terrifying that I couldn't even eat!

The lady sitting beside him hold his hand that made him look away from me. Phew! I was about to eat when someone spoke.

"Camille, you're used to our sons and daughters. You must be used to us too. Feel comfortable" the lady sitting next to Kyle said.

"T-Thank you" I answered and I started eating. Then, the atmosphere changed again. They started talking and talking with the Elites except for the King I fear.

It's only the lady sitting next to him who was talking to Brylle. Brylle coldly answers but the Queen still smiles. She's so gentle.

I looked at the Fierce King. He never speaks. He just keep on staring at me like I have done something wrong.

"No mom, Camille is just shy when she sees new people. Right Camille?" I looked at Aster who spokes.

I smiled and nodded.

I pretended that I can't see him looking at me by roaming with my eyes around.

Then I accidentally looked at him and he bacame more serious. I blinked my eyes many times and while blinking, I saw a man, a woman and a 2 year old girl infront of me.

The woman was talking with another woman as the man was scolding the girl not to play with food.

Like when I saw something after I met Brylle at the corridor, their faces are so bright and I can't even see it.

I rubbed my eyes and opened it. I roamed around and everything was gone. I'm still here at the Dining Hall and the King looked away from me.

As he talked with the lady beside her, I didn't mind I am staring at a dark smoke and I got so afraid. I excused myself to catch some air and went to the balcony. Thankfully they look simply as they are and have no hesitations why I feel like this.

So I am now on the balcony looking around the

"W-What is happening? Calm down, calm down Camille. I'm sure they won't stay near you all the times" I whispered and took a deep breath.

Why do I fear him so much? Why do I got so nervous everytime they look at me? Why do I keep seeing those weird things?!

When I feel that I'm okay, I went back to my seat and ate with them with a calm version of me.

After we're done, we went straight to Crystal Dormitory with them.

"Lexie, what will they do here?" I asked because it's only her who has a distance from the Rulers.

"Well, you'll see" she said and smirked.

"Wait!" I whispered but she ignored and walked away. Don't tell me they're gonna sleep here?

"After resting, sleep well and we'll come back to sleep with you" a lady in yellow said and smiled.

They really are huh?

"Yes mom!" Azalea screamed and smiled.

The Rulers went out and as the fierce King passed by me, I don't feel any nervousness anymore! Instead, I feel hate! Like my fist wants to punch him. I'm so angry and I can't handle myself anymore so I went straight to my bedroom.

"What did you do to me?!" I whispered in anger.

Why am I feeling like this?! My brain is messed up with so many things yet this one was added!

"Camille" I heard someone called me.

I don't want to talk with anyone. Maybe I'm gonna punch your face and not the wall if I couldn't help myself!

"Not now Aspen!" I coldly said. I heard his footsteps walking away. I looked at my door and he left it open. I'm so upset once again and slammed the door.

"You okay Camille?!" I heard someone worriedly asked and it was Aspen's voice. Then, I'm back to who am I. I'm not angry anymore.

The door opened and I saw him.

"N-No, I just slammed it accidentally" I lied.

"What can I do then?" he asked.

"N-Nothing! I'm fine. Yeah. I'm fine. I just got a headache" I lied once again and he looked at me.

"Okay. Rest well" he answered and closed the door.

W-What's happening to me? Was I poisoned with the food?

Urgh! Rest now Camille. Rest now. Maybe your brain was just overloaded.
