8 Chapter 06: My First Day

Camille's POV

I woke up and noticed my wounds are better than it was before. I'm also feeling okay already but I still feel a little pain.

I stand up and I feel like my bones are cracked. It's so hard to move!

It's too early for the lessons to start. I decided to walk out and went to the garden that got my attention. There are so many fireflies that gives enough light for me to see my way.

"You're not allowed to go out alone with scars seen on your skin" I heard someone just talked.

"B-Brylle?" I asked.

"You did great yesterday but I don't have time to tell you cause you fall asleep. But, you failed" he said.

"I know. But how?" I asked.

"You didn't hit Kyle's water clone and three arrows aren't enough to stop a wave. It's just that Kyle was so concerned about you so he let the clone disappear. Also, from the beginning, he never put his full force even if I commanded him to" he coldly answered.

I'm really weak the way everyone look at me.

"S-Sorry" I just said.

"One more thing, you cheated" he said with a cold voice that shocked me.

"Huh?" I asked.

"You attacked the other water clone without waiting for the signal. If that is a true enemy, you're in trouble" he said.

"Uhm, s-sorry" I answered and bowed down.

"Back to the dorm, use this time to recover" he commanded and I followed him without hesitation. Anyway, I lost my appetite catching cold when someone just ruins your mood.

"By the way, if someone asks you to introduce yourself, just say your name and say that you are an Auxilian in the mortal" he said as a proscript.

*Crystal Dormitory

I just sleep again. I guess I have nothing to do anymore.

When I woke up, it's already bright outside. So, I did my morning routine and went downstairs.

"You woke up the right time. Let's go to the Dining Hall" Brylle coldly said and we all went there.

*Dining Hall

Wow! So many yummy foods! I didn't eat dinner yesterday because I became unconscious. But I'm so shy to get everything I want! I'll wait for them to get their food. Let's see the amount of what they're gonna eat.

They all got their foods and proceeded to our table. What the heck?! The amount of their foods are so little! Hmp! Okay! Fine! I'm also gonna eat less amount! It's so embarrassing when I'm the only one eating huge amount. Even if I'm so cold, you wouldn't expect how I can't tolerate my hunger! Food is life! Hahaha!

I went to the table where they went and joined them. As we started eating, no one even tried to speak. I mean, everyone in this room is so silent.

But I saw something weird. Why does everytime this one stares at me I feel like I had known him somewhere out there.

"I think we're all done. Let's go to our classroom" Brylle said and we followed him.

"Camille! Is our foods in this world goof?" Azalea asked with a loud voice. I really hate being with a talkative person.

I just nodded and said nothing.

"Camille don't be too shy when we enter our classroom okay?! There are so many talkative persons in there!" Lexie said and I just nodded once again.

"Are you okay?" Aspen asked.

"Yeah" I coldly answered without looking at him.

"Don't worry guys! She's just shy since it's her first day!" Kyle said.

"Don't worry Camille you'll be used someday" Angel also said.

"Thanks" I coldly answered. But no. I'm not nervous. I just don't care about the world. I'm just allowing my feet to lead me anywhere.

"Camille, if ever you needed anything just call us okay?! Maybe we could help" Aster said while smiling. I just nodded.

From yesterday until now, all I can hear is "Camille" "Camille". They always talk to me unlike in the mortal world. Are they the friends I've been searching for?

"Guys," I said.

"Is there any problem?" Aster asked.

"Uhmm, no. Nothing" I answered in a cold way and walked so fast. This is just the beginning. Maybe when the following days come, I'll be left alone again. Camille, don't fall at the same traps. They will soon leave you alone. Just like, Sasha.

"Camille where are going?!" Azalea screamed.

"The door is right here" Brylle said pointing in front of them. Damn this feet! Where are you leading me?!

I just walked towards them.

"You just walked so fast. Is there something wrong?" Kyle asked.

"N-Nothing. Maybe I-I just lost my mind" I shyly answered.

"Oh yes you did!" Aster said while laughing and went inside.

I'm so shy of what I just did but.

I just kept quiet and I'm resisting to show it.

We entered right after Aster.

*Classroom

We are now in our classroom.

"Camille, sit down here. This is the only chair where no one sits on" Aspen said and so I sat down on the chair located at the second to the last row. I don't have any seatmate. And I feel like I'm in the other classroom.

In a short time, a teacher came in. As the teacher started talking, I didn't listen cause I am bored.

"A new student! Please come and introduce your self" she called on me.

So, I went in front.

As I walk on the aisle, I remembered my nightmare. When I slipped off on the oily floor right after taking a bath while wearing my uniform.

I closed my eyes trying to forget my nightmare.

What the heck is this! Please stop reminding me everything!

"I am Camille Ambers. An Auxilian from the mortal" I coldly introduced myself as I am in front. I don't have anything else to say since it's what Brylle told me to say as an introduction of my self.

"Nice name. I am Erica Farnao. Your History Teacher. So many wounds! I guess you had a good training yesterday" she greeted me with a smiling face. So? The hell you care about this wounds?!

I nodded and went back to my seat while covering my largest wound on my arm.

I didn't bother listening. I'm not in the mood.

I'm always thinking why did I just came in this world? How could I find justice for my mother's death?

"It's almost time. Elites, and Camille, an order from Headmaster Viado, sit at the last row. It's all up to you for your arrangements. Students on the last row, move forward" Miss Farnao commanded but I didn't hear.

I just saw the Elites and the people at the back exchanging seats.

What are they doing?

"You're Camille, right?" a guy who went beside my chair asked.

I just nodded.

"You really aren't listening. Miss Farnao said that you and the Elites will sit on the last row. You may sit anywhere at the last row and the others who came from there will exchange seats with you. Go there and I'll sit here" he said and laughed softly. Maybe he noticed how I wonder why they are standing.

"S-Sorry" I whispered and went to the last row.

I'm the last one who went there so I have no choice. I sat down at the only blank seat. Brylle is my seatmate and at the other side is the window.

"That's why you need to pay attention even if you don't want to" he coldly said so I looked on him.

"S-Sorry" I whispered. He may have noticed what happened a few minutes ago.

I just noticed a girl who is so irritated while looking at me. I have no idea why so I just keot quiet.

*Lunch

After those boring lessons, it's already lunch time. Then, every student headed to the Dining Hall.

"How is it Camille? Are the lessons great?" Azalea happily asked me.

"Boring" I just answered.

"Oh" she whispered.

*Dining Hall

"I'll just go to the washroom" I said and left them.

As I finished washing my hands, there are three girls who blocked my way. The one at the middle is the one who looks irritated everytime she looks at me. Do you think I'm afraid of it?! Hell no!

"Camille? Right?" she asked with a sassy voice. I just stayed silent and was about to walk away when sge blocked me again.

"Camille, remember this. Brylle is just your trainor but he is my love! Don't be so sassy like he loves you-" I disrupted her words by bumping in her shoulder to move out of my way.

I walked away silently. Sorry, but I don't wanna listen to something nonesense.

I can feel her angry aura. But, I ignored and went back to my seat.

After we finished eating, we went back to our classroom and the bell rang.

New lessons began and I'm still not in the mood so I just stared in front with a blank face.

"Ivy! You're teacher is in front not at the back!" our teacher suddenly shouted.

"Ivy?" I whispered.

"S-sorry" one of our classmates answered. I looked around wondering where did that voice came from. And when we looked eye to eye, she rolled her eyes on me and looked in front. It was the same girl who blocked my way a while ago in the Dininig Room.

My mind was suddenly surrounded by anger.

Ivy. Ivy. Ivy. Ivy is Ivory's nickname. It's what her friends call her. She's one of my bullies from the school I came from at the mortal. It's so irritating! I tried my best to calm down and I can't.

Our teacher just left so I decided to go out and catch some air. Maybe I'll calm down a little bit.

As I walk on the aisle, a leg suddenly appeared wanting me to stumble. And a green liquid that wants me to slip down. It's the same pranks when I don't know it's my last day at the mortal.

When I looked at the one who owns the leg, it was Ivy. Ivy is so similar to Ivory, Sasha and their troops. All they want is to hurt me. But as I said, I want to change. And that means I won't fall for the same traps again.

You're challenging me? I'm already resisting myself! But you forced me. Then who am I to say no?

I just walked straight and bumped her leg.

"Ouch!" she screamed.

"Sorry huh? I just didn't notice the leg wanting me to slip off on purpose" I said with a sassy voice and walk away.

Thank goodness you didn't plan to attack or else I'm gonna continue to kill you.

A few seconds later, I went back inside our classroom.

We both stayed silent with my seatmate. I'm just sitting while the lesson is going on.

A few hours later, it's our dismissal already.

"You really didn't enjoy your first day huh?" Azalea said with a corny voice.

"How can I if it was so boring" I coldly answered.

We continued walking and went to our dorm.

*Crystal Dormitory

"Camille, sorry for that bitch if she's the one who ruined your day. I clearly saw her leg blocking your way. I really hate that stupid snake!" Lexie complained.

"It's okay. Don't worry. I won't fall for the same traps" I coldly said.

"Oh. Then, good!" Aster happily said.

"You know what? All of us are so irritated with Ivy!" Azalea cut in.

"Ivy. Ivy. Ivy" it keeps echoing in my mind!

"Never mention that name again!" I screamed and run towards my room as fast as I could.

Azalea's POV

"Did I just say something wrong?" I asked the other Elites.

"It's your mouth unaware of anything!" Aster jokingly said.

"What-" I didn't finish my sentence when Brylle spoke.

"Yes you did. I don't know but I can sense her anger" he said.

"S-Sorry" I answered and bowed down.

"I think she has a terrible life at the mortal world. She is like that from the beginning. And I can sense that almost all people with a cold aura are those who had the most miserable past" Aspen said.

"Aspen has a point. What can we do?" tanong ni Angel.

"Huwag ka nang magsalita ulit!" Aster said trying to make fun of me.

I couldn't help it so I slapped his face. You're so annoying!

"Ouch!" he screamed.

"I'm not gonna do that if you didn't say those annoying words!" I said and rolled my eyes on him.

"There's nothing wrong when you speak. You just have to becareful with your words especially if you didn't know everything about someone you talk with and I'm glad someone understands the reason of others' personality" Brylle coldly said and went straight to his room.

We have no idea of what he just said so we went in our own rooms without a single word.

Camille's POV

When will this memories vanish? I always try to be so tough but I can't.

I laid down my bed and stared at the ceiling blankly.

Someone knocked at my door.

I opened the door and it was the Elites. I can see Brylle is the one who knocked because he is the closest one to my door.

"Dinner time. Let's go to the Dining Hall" he called. D-Dinner? How long did I stare on the ceiling?

"I lost my appetite. Just go with yourselves" I answered.

"You're not allowed to skip meals unless you are unconscious" he coldly shouted.

"I don't-" I was about to say I don't want to but he cut my words.

"It's the rule" he said.

"Fine" I coldly said and went out of my room. As we went downstairs, he parted ways with us. He went to his room?

"Bro where are you going?" Kyle asked.

"I'm not hungry. Just go and eat" he said.

"Didn't you just say it's not allowed to skip meals unless you're unconscious because it's the rule?!" I screamed while irritated.

"Well, that's my rule as your leader. Not the Academy's" he coldly said with a mixing sassy voice.

"Sick! Bro!" Aster screamed and laughed with Kyle.

"How dare you!" I whispered with an irritated voice. I was about to go near him when someone held my hand.

"Let it go" Aspen said. Brylle just entered his room and we went to the Dining Hall.

*Dining Hall

While eating, I can't help myself complaining.

"Is he really a leader?!" I irritatingly said.

"He just took revenge on you" Kyle answered and laughed.

"Huh?" I asked.

"You're too funny answering his questions when it's your first time to enter our dorm. It looks like you're making fun of him and that made him took his revenge on your funny style. And it's also a part of his revenge tge time when you're asking for tips at the training room but he didn't use use common sense" Aster said while laughing.

"Of course he's the one who's not using his common sense so I am irritated of him" I complained.

"But you know Camille, he changed somehow" Azalea said.

"How?" I coldly asked.

"He never skipped meal before" Angel answered.

"So?" I asked.

"Can't you see? He just skipped meal just to have fun with you!" Lexie said and laughed.

"What now?" I asked again.

"The past day before you came, when he's irritated, it's just nothing! He just walks away. But now, his taking revenge. He's playing with you. Like, he wants to have fun" sabi ni Lexie.

"So what if he just wants to play?" I asked.

"Hayyy. Camille, we're saying he is changing because of you. We don't even hear him talk that much until you came. We never saw him play with anyone neither any of us until you showed up" Aspen said.

"Okay" I coldly answered and continued eating. They just shooked their heads and kept quiet.

After we finished eating, we returned to our dorm and slept after a few minutes rest.
