4 Chapter 02: Sudden Change

Camille's POV

I stopped when I realized something. I am so humble so I guess this is the reason why I am always hurt.

The world is so unique? Good persons are the ones who are always hurt.

What if I'll try to be a bad one? What if I'll try to plant revenge on my heart?

I'm tired of being hurt always. I'm tired of enduring the pain. But I'm still trying my best to be so tough and yet nothing changes. The world wasted my kindness. It doesn't want the kind me. So now, I'm gonna show how evil I am. I'm gonna show my evilness that you keep searching for.

Maybe if I'll change myself, I can also change the world.

But, it's so hard! I can't force my self to be as evil as I want! And I don't want to suffer anymore. What if I'll just end my life in here?

I looked around. I didn't realize I am already in a forest.

A perfect place to end my life.

I don't know but I think I'm lost. Because I can't remember that I had been in a forest before.

Then suddenly, I saw a floating shiny rock? It looks like a tiny little pieces of jewels! I tried to get it but then it vanished. There are so many of them and are aligned to each other. I tried to hold them one by one but they vanish when I my hand was about to touch it. I followed it until the last one.

I looked at my surrounding and my eyes landed in a girl. A girl whom I was afraid before but now I'm annoyed with her.

"Oh, you showed up? Are you looking for me? Well then you went to the right place. It is where I go when I think of someone I want to drag down" Ivory said with laughter. She's alone. She doesn't have any companion.

"Yes, it's only the two of us whoy here but, cruelty doesn't end" she said and smirked. I want to give up but I know, she will keep on annoying me. So, I thought maybe I would die happily if I killed atleast one of my bullies.

I stared at her with sharp eyes as she came near me.

"The water di not yet dry but you're already searching for me?" she said with a sassy voice and laughed sarcastically.

When she's right infront of me, I grabbed her neck and squeezed it.

"L-Let go of me!" she screamed.

"I don't need to wait for this water to dry before taking revenge!" I coldly said.

"C-Camille! S-Stop it! P-Promise I-I'll stop b-bullying you! she screamed with her face covered with fear.

I realized that I am too bad for what I'm doing so I let go of her.

W-what di I just do? Who forced me to do it?

She ran away as fast as she could leaving me terrified with my own moves.

That revenge is enough. I must end my life now. I-I don't want to hurt someone a-anymore!

It will just be good if I don't care about anything anymore.

Now that I am alone, I have no one to care about.

I have no problems to face if I will just distance myself to everyone out there. And I want that. I grew up with pain surrounded by bullies with a cold heart.

And I could just achieve that if I'm gonna end my life.

I just walk around looking for the highest cliff where I could jump in to. I even forgot those shiny floating rocks that I saw. Until, I saw a circulating thing. I stopped. What is that?

Suddenly, a two masked man wearing a robe came out from it?

I looked around me. Birds started to fly slowly. Leaves from trees also fall down slowly. It looks like time has slowed down.

I just don't care. Maybe it's just a game of kids when they tie leaves and hand-made birds with a string and control it slowly!

"Girl, where are you from?" one of the masked man asked me.

"Are you talking to me?" I asked. He nodded.

"I am from here! In Earth" I coldly said.

"No, you're an Auxilian" he answered.

"I don't even know what an Auxilian is" I coldly answered.

"Then where is that black stain on your clothes came from?" he asked.

"I don't even know. I just saw it when a stranger killed my mom" I answered.

"Where is your mom?" he again asked.

"She's an ash now after the black liquid burned her body. Why? Can you revive him?" I again coldly said.

I'm talking to a stranger but I don't care. As I said, now that I'm alone I don't have anything to care about.

"Then you really are an Auxilian!" he said for the second time.

"Why are you hardheaded? I just said I don't even know what that is. So, I am not!" I answered like I am so mad to him.

"If you're not an Auxilian, how come you do notice our presence? And you can also move with the proper way. Earth slows down whenever an Auxilian enters. Please, come enter with this portal with us" the other one spoke.

"What are you talking about?" I asked.

"Please, we need to increase our colony to beat darkness" one of them answered.

"I'm not a child to be forced with fantasies" I coldly answered. I was about to walk away when the other one talked.

"We're sorry but, we need to beat darkness in our world as I said. And we're not enough. It's not fantasy. And if you help us beat darkness, you'll find justice for your mom. Or maybe you don't want to cause you don't care about her" he said.

"How could I find justice if I don't know who killed her? How could I if I don't know what just happened? How could I if no one believes what I just saw? You think others will believe my story if they didn't see the shocking truth?!" I asked angrily.

"You will because you will influence everyone that bad deeds must stop and you will because we're taking you to the World of Auxilia" he answered.

I ignored it and continue walking because I know this won't end and I am just wasting my voice to talk with someone. But then I was so surprised when they carried me leading me to the circulating thing they came from.

"Hey! Where are you taking me?! Put me down!" I commanded angrily.

When they let go of me, I just kicked their legs so hard.

I was about to do it again when I realized what I said lately. Why do I have to protect myself if I don't even have a reason to live?

I just stand straight.

"T-that is an amazing kick! Please, you are so strong that your attack can even hurt us so much. We need you" the other one can't stop pleasing me.

"No one needs me, no one sees my value and I just want to end my life right now cause I could never achieved that kind of dream! You don't understand because you are not in the same situation!" I can't stop myself so I just shouted it.

"If you want to die, make your death honorable" he answered.

"What do you mean?" I confusedly asked.

"Everyone will notice your value if you die because of protecting and helping others" the other one said.

"Okay, I'll come. Because I know whatever I do I can't stop you!" I coldly answered but in the inside, I like how he motivated me to show my value.

They convinced me to enter the circulating thing. I don't know what just happened because my dizziness closed my eyes.

When I feel like it stopped, I looked around. When my heart changed, my surroundings changed! We are now in front of a gate made of crystal.

"Where am I?" I confusingly asked. I also noticed my wet clothes, hair, and skin dried.

"You are in the most special academy of Auxilia World. The Crystalline Academy. Headmaster Dylan Viado will explain everything to you. Believe us. You are an Auxilian" one of them said.

I looked at their hands. With different movements, the gate had opened.

And yes. I am in a different world where every single thing is different from where I came from.

Did I just enter a book? A book that has a fantasy story in it?
